Samridhi
I open the door of the room and look at the view which I have been looking for the past few days. There is my Devdas who is drinking bottles after bottles I don't know which girlfriend he is trying to forget.
If he continues to behave like this I don't know how my mission will succeed in bringing father and son together.
" Enough," I said and snatch the bottle from his hand.
" What are doing Samridhi give me my bottle back," he said getting up from the couch.
" No I won't give you," I said.
" Give me back," he said and try to snatch it from my hand.
" No I won't," I said and start moving backwards.
" Samridhi give me back," he said and start coming forward.
" No" continue to step backwards.
Suddenly I bump into the wall and Abhimanyu come and keep his hands beside me on the wall.
We both look at each other then his gaze shifted to my lips and my eyes turn darker. He comes closer and I turn away my face to the side.
" You're are more intoxicated than alcohol" he whispers in my ear and bites my earlobe and I close my eyes from this feeling.
Suddenly he moves away and I open my eyes. He smirked at me showing the bottle which he gets back.
" Abhimanyu no," I said.
"Why?" he asked getting angry.
" What is your problem Samridhi let me have my fun"
" You are not drinking for fun. You are trying to run away" I said.
" From what?"
" From your Dad, from your responsibility, from everything"
" I not running away from anything ok," he said and turned away.
" Really? " I said going in front of him.
" Then why are you not going to Singhania industries when your Dad officially made you CEO of industries," I said but he didn't look at me.
" Why?. I asked you something Abhimanyu isn't it that what you want. Look at me Abhimanyu I am talking to you" I shouted.
" Because I can't face him," he said. Like father like son.
" Why?"
" Because I disappoint him. I was so blinded by the power of greed that I don't realise how much I hurt him until it's too late" he said.
" Instead of making him proud, I disappoint him. I made him question his upbringing. I'm not capable of being CEO hell, I'm not even capable of being a normal employee" he said with his eyes glinting.
" Then make him proud," I said placing a hand on his shoulder and he looks at me.
" Instead of running away from everything like coward face everything. Make him realise him that you're his son who just wandered for some time that's it" I said.
" You are capable of being the CEO"
" I'm not"
" Then go and cry in some corner. You said I disappoint him but do you realise you still are not making him proud" I shout at him.
" Do you know how worried he was when he comes to know what amazing thing you did no you don't and you don't even think about it am I right? you know why because you are selfish" I said poking a finger on his chest.
I turned around and goes to bed.
Morning
" Samridhi"
" Samridhi wake up"I open my eyes see Abhimanyu.
So I turn around because I don't want to see him.
" Samridhi come on yar" I open my eyes and again see him. So I again turned around and pulled my quilt up.
" Samridhi," he said and snatch my quilt.
" What?" I said getting up.
" Won't you wish me?" he said and I glare at him.
" For what?"
" Because I'm going office," he said and I raise one eyebrow.
" You are right I'm selfish and a coward who only cares about himself but now I will change myself and make my Dad proud," he said.
" I want to ask one more thing," he said nervously.
" Do you still hate me?" he asked.
Do I still hate him? There was a time when I hate him but now I don't.
" Ek time tha jab tumse bepanah nafrat thi par ab nahi ha " I said and he smiled.
" So will you become my friend?" he asked forwarding his hand towards me.
I look at it for some time then accept it.
" Friends," we both say and smile.
" Shoot I'm late," he said getting up and goes to the door.
" Abhimanyu " I shout and he turned around.
" All the best" he smile and left.
I looked at the clock it's 8:00 am he wake me up this early. I pulled my quilt and goes back to sleep.

" I promise I will make you proud Dad," I said as I sit in a chair.
My all friends come while yawning and sit.
" Why did you asked us to come this early?" Mahir asked.
" Yess," Veer said.
" Because we have to look after an industry," I said.
" Ok? " Mahir said.
" I want to do everything right this time. I want to make my Dad proud" I said.
"How you know our shares are in major loss after whatever happened," Mahir said.
" I know but I also know that we will do something and again our shares will be in profit all I need is my friends support," I said forwarding my hand.
"Let's do it," Mahir said.
" Let's do it," Veer said.
We looked at each other and then looked at Yuvi who is sleeping and drooling over the table.
" Yuvi," we said.
He looked at our hands and then said in a sleepy voice.
" Let's do it," we all said.
" How are we going to do this? " I said after looking at previous accounts of industry.
" Yes, our reputation is also not good after that incident," Mahir said.
" But we have to do something," Veer said.
" We want a huge project this is the only thing which helps in this situation," I said.
" But who will partner with us," Mahir said.
"Yes I don't think anyone wants to do a partnership with us," I said.
" I want to," someone said and everyone looks at him.
Mr Kapoor is standing at the door.
" Mr Kapoor come inside," I said.
He comes and sits in front of me.
" I want to do a partnership with your company," he said.
" But why do you know our shares are not in profit, " I said.
" I know son that's why I want to," he said shocking everyone.
" You remind me of myself when I'm just like you wanted to do something but everyone doesn't give chance to newcomers but they don't know that they have amazing spirit" he explained.
" So now will you accept my proposal," he asked.
" Of course Mr Kapoor thank you so much," I said shaking hands with him.
" Yay," I shouted after he left and my friends also join me.

" All this happened," I said to Tia. We are in the market now.
" He kissed you," Tia said.
" You only listen to this," I said.
" No I listen to the whole thing but he kissed you," she said again.
" How did it feel," she asked again.
" Shut up Tia"
" Please I want to know"
" Then go and get married "
" You are so bad"
" Thank you and bye"

Night
I was sitting in the hall waiting for Abhimanyu.
" Hii," he said as he come inside.
" Hii" I replied.
" You know what happened today?" he said excitingly as he sit in front of me.
" What?"
" We got a huge project and if everything goes good I will be able to make my Dad proud," he said and I smiled.
" Thank you Samridhi all this happens because of you if you don't encourage me I would still drinking alcohol and drown in self-pity"
" Hey you broke the rule of friendship"
" What rule?"
" There is no sorry and no thank you between friends"
" Ok I will remember that but please let me thank you for this time"
" I don't dare to look in my Dad's eyes after I did the scam of establishing fake industries in the name of Singhania industries I did not think for once that I'm ruining all my dad's struggle," he said and I get confused.
" Fake industries?" I asked and he look at me.
" Yes I take money from shareholders in the name of industries which is established in papers only," he said.
" But you did the scam of fake accounts right," I asked.
" Yes I also did that but Dad already knows about it and he forgives me for that but he doesn't know about fake industries," he said.
It means that papers which I get from his office his Dad already knows about that papers and it was not a real scam. So this means I'm not guilty of anything whatever happened is not my fault and I thought that whatever happened is because of me.
" Samridhi " Abhimanyu called me and I come out of my trance.
" Where are you lost?"
" Nothing"
" Don't you think it's time for celebration"
" It is" I smile.
" Just two minutes," he said and go.
He comes with the bottle of champagne and pour it into glasses.
" Take it," he said giving me a glass.
" Cheers to new beginnings," we both said raising our glasses.
