Chapter 30 Astral Projection
The female was stunned by the punch. Her entire spirit form trembled and her physical body was pushed backward. She hurriedly returned her spirit back to the body to avoid her body from falling to the ground and having a concussion.
âWhatâs going on?â The female was astonished. Logically, an ordinary student should be unable to touch her spirit form but how did Odinâs punch land on her spirit form?
âWhatâs wrong?â The other male, who was watching by the side, saw the femaleâs odd expression and questioned out loud.
âItâs too weird, that person seems to be able to attack my spirit form.â The female stared at the back of her hands in disbelief.
âCould it be that you didnât control your energy properly when using the Astral Projection and it caused a backlash?â The male clearly didnât believe it either. He suspiciously sized up the female in front of him.
âNo. Iâm certain it was a real feeling of a real blow, not the disgusting feeling of the backlash.â Firmly shaking her head, the girl stared at Odin trying to perceive any special traits in Odin.
âIâll have a go.â The male evidently didnât believe it and used Astral Projection to close in on Odin.
Odin, on the other hand, was tangling with Watson. Because the fusion technique was just created today, he was still unfamiliar with using it. So, temporarily, he was using the Ground Combat Technique and Military Combat Technique. However, Watsonâs spirit was too strong and Odin was slightly exhausted.
All of a sudden, Odin felt another spirit appear in the air and it was different from the one he hit just now.  Why is it another person this time? Odin thought as he fought Watson.
Right now, he couldnât simply reveal his identity as the Crow Godâs extraordinary, or else, his spirit would undoubtedly be drained by them. He needed to beat all of them to the point of exhaustion to only use his spirit form.
Fortunately, his mental strength was powerful, at least it was greater than the four of them. He could pinpoint the energy fluctuation from their spirit form and used his mental strength to strike them.
Generally, the physical body was unable to contact the spirit being but an attack augmented by mental strength was different. Strictly speaking, mental strength was an energy in the same category as spirits. Since it was from the same category, it naturally could be used as a weapon.
Bending down, Odin flashed beside Watson. On the surface, he was avoiding Watsonâs attack but in reality, he was dodging the maleâs spirit attack. One thing Odin failed to understand was why Watson didnât use his spirit form to attack Odin.
Perhaps Watson chose the other two professions instead? Odin frowned as he never had faced off against the other two professions before. If this was the case, then the matter became slightly problematic.
Odin originally was going to disregard the maleâs spirit form but he was being too annoying as he was circling around Odin, occasionally launching an attack on Odin. However, each attack was blocked by Odin using his mental strength, making Odin lose his concentration, and was kicked in the abdomen by Watson.
âCough, cough, cough.â This kick was too heavy. An enormous pain came from his abdomen. If it wasnât for Odin to block it in the nick of time, Odin suspected he might already die with his intestine falling out of his body.
âTsk, how problematic.â Looking at Odin prepared to stand up, Watson stomped his legs on the trunk of the tree, increasing his speed and dashing with his fist aiming at Odinâs temple.
Odin hurriedly rolled to his right side but his right side was where the maleâs spirit form was. Although he dodged a fatal strike, the spirit bodyâs chilliness was permeating into Odinâs arm as though his entire arm was frozen by ice and immobilized.
Iâve got no choice, they are too tricky. Gritting his teeth, Odin drew out his spirit form. Rolling while exerting force forward, Odin swung his punch at the temple of the maleâs projected spirit form. This was the fusion technique Odin created today and the effect was pretty well.
The maleâs spirit form received a heavy strike and was abruptly forced back to his physical body. Due to the shockwave received by the spirit form, the moment it returned to its ownerâs body, the male was bending his waist, violently vomiting, and constantly rolling his eyeballs as if almost going to faint over.
Odin returned his spirit form back to his body but his right arm that was gripped by the male was still ominous releasing chill air. He probably used some spirit-related skills.
âAs expected, youâre different from the others.â Watsonâs eyes darkened as the smile on his face vanished, becoming grim.
âHe knows Astral Projection!â Nancy exclaimed, âIsnât this a skill only the Crow Godâs Spirit Warlock knows? How did Odin learn it?â
âSince it was a person targeted by the higher-ups, I knew he wasnât someone ordinary. Who couldâve imagined he is the same Spirit Warlock as us?â The other female finally understood why her spirit form was struck by Odin.
Heading towards the violently vomiting male, she held him up and struck a few acupuncture points on his body, making him faint over. She took a vial containing blue liquid and pried open the maleâs mouth, pouring the liquid into it.
The maleâs body began emitting a strange blue glow as if being healed.
Odin also realized why Watson was the only one fighting with him. All of them were Spirit Warlock but each of them specialized in different areas. The males focused on the offensive while the female was healer-type Spirit Warlock. As for Nancy, Odin hadnât had any slightest clue.
âLooks like I need to be serious about this.â Making his signature action of licking his canine, Watsonâs body gradually became translucent, beginning to project his spirit form.
Seeing Watson was still a Spirit Warlock, Odin eased up a bit. The reason Watson didnât use his spirit body just now was that he couldnât be bothered using it against Odin.
Watson was powerful and soon his spirit form was projected. The entire body became translucent and its edges had icicle-like shapes. After entering his spirit form, Watsonâs speed increased by at least 50% and in a blink of an eye, he appeared in front of Odin. Odin, too, swiftly entered his spirit form to fight against Watson.
Watsonâs spirit form had great mental strength as the air around the spirit form began to distort. Once he came close to Odin, Odin felt a sense of iciness striking him as if freezing him.
Lowering his body, Odin slid under Watsonâs crotch and arrived behind him, firing a fierce punch.
