BLONDE HAIR pulled into a messy braid, sage green bow sat up-top on her head. She hums a melodic tune as her white poofy dress flows past her knees while she prances around her child like room. The scratchy sound of her record player flowing throughout her ears, glossed lips moving in sync with the singer. Clothes spill over white dresser drawers and her bed covers all on the carpet.  The slamming of her door caught the girl by surprise as she drops her hairbrush from in between her fist.

"Estella! you're late, again." Gwen slammed the door open, before crossing her arms over her chest. Stella squeals before grabbing her brown satchel off her chair and pulling her shoes on while hopping. The brown haired girl chucks her an apple before leaving, the small girl running behind her.

"I might as well move back into your dorm, that's the only way you'll be on time!" Gwen lectured as the 5'0 girl pouted, dusting off her dress as they walk through the school's large halls. Stella begins to wave at everyone as they pass by, earning smiles from multiple people. A certain bleach blonde haired girl leant on her locker in deep thought, causing the pair to hop in front of her.

"Mal! What lesson have you got now? Pleasee tell me you have Chemistry!" Estella crossed her fingers while squinting her eyes closed. It was the last day of school, and the kids roaming the halls had an excited buzz around them. The friendship group of 7 were staying for summer school, having no where to go back to and failing some classes. Mal quickly nodded at her, grabbing the hefty green book out of her locker. Estella squealed, hooking their arms together before walking off with the girl. They both waved bye to Gwen who stropped off to Remedial Goodness 101 with Fairy Godmother.

"How are you feeling?" Estella questioned the once purple haired girl, looking up at her. Mal breathed in through her nose quickly, before smiling tightly.

"I'm okay, thank you. It's just hard, all of the royalty stuff.." Stella quickly nodded, feeling sorrow for the younger but taller girl.

"I know, you should let Ben know. He probably doesn't even realise. he's been so busy lately!" She rambled, her hands flying everywhere while gold glitter shimmers around her. Mal nodded quickly at her words

"Yeah, sure. I will" Mal winced at the warm smile she had gotten back after she had blatantly lied to her best friend. She just didn't want to worry Ben on top of his King responsibilities. He had enough to worry about with the coronation coming up in 4 days and all the press.

The blonde pair entered the classroom for the first lesson of the day, sitting right at the back.

The bell rang out for lunch, Estella grabbing Carlos and Jay by the arm and gathering her stuff quickly. The two boys either side of her complained about fencing while Estella simply listened in.

"Stella, did you know that girls aren't allowed to be in the fencing team?" The blonde girl gasped and stopped in her tracks.

"What." Estella's smile had dropped off her peachy skin and the two boys halted in front of her before turning around.

"That's so unfair, girls can do whatever a boy can do and better!" The girl suddenly forgetting about the caesar salad waiting for her and storming to the fencing Coach's office. Jay and Carlos running after her, arms crossed as they stop in front of the door. Stella knocked hastily, a frown evident on her face.

The tanned man opened the door, a smile on his face while an apple lies on his palm.

"Stella, Jay, Carlos! What can I do for you?"

He opens tow door wider allowing the trio into the office. Various papers are scattered across the low coffee table, stains of coffee on some. He pulls out an extra chair for one of the three to sit down, and Stella gladly takes it. She crosses her arms over her chest before clearing her throat.

"Why aren't girls allowed on the fencing team?" The coach clears his throat and takes a gulp of his water before sighing.

"It's just how it's said in the rule book, and i cannot change that" he passes her the small book causing her to huff in disappointment.

"But, Lonnie beat your best player with ease."

Jay scoffing slightly and mumbling under his breath. Carlos hit his shoulder before clearing his throat.

"Look, i can't just bend the rules. Fairy Godmother will have me." The headteacher was a sucker for the rules, the trio all sighing with defeat before the blonde girl squealed at the rule she just read.

"It says in the book '8 men and a captain' No where here does it say that the captain can't be a girl, the team is already down a player because of Ben." She gave the coach the best puppy eyes, ignoring Jay sighing behind her.

"Well.. if Jay is okay with it.  I suppose it's allowed." Estella looked up to the boy above her, with pleading eyes. Jay quickly nodded at coach. The small girl squeezed the living day lights out of the Isle boy, thanking him repeatedly.

"Okay then, I'll go tell Lonnie."
