chapter 22

Sitting in one chair is Dontae eating, and the other chair has Anthony. I

take a seat across from Anthony and then dig into the food.

"Did James call you this morning?" Anthony ask his Alpha in between

mouth full of food.

"He did but I was a little preoccupied.” I didn't bother to look up at him

as he spoke, thankfully Anthony didn't say a word about it either.

"why would he want to see the queen?" it was the question we all

wanted answered.

"I will not send Chrissy down to that rogue.” with that he gets up and

storms out of my quarter's.

"Your security said it wasn't Chrissy he wanted so who do they want?" I

asked once I had finished my breakfast and placed the dishes in the

sink.

"it's you he wants to talk to.” well shit that made me stop and stare at

him like a fish out of water. I was shocked, why the hell would a rogue

want to talk to me, I don't know any more do I hav anything to give

them.

"Well then let's get going, I have some things to do today before my

baby comes home." with that we walk out of my quarter's and down to

the basement. Anthony leads me down to an underground tunnel, we

finally come to a door that opens from the other side. The man bows to

us and then closes the door behind us. the fifth cage down we stop at,

A man is tied to a chair watching my every move with his blood red

eyes and evil grin spreads across his face

"Ah the lovely ex queen Lilliana, what a pleasure to meet you." his

sarcasm made me smile back, he frowns for a quick second then gives

me a blank look.

"I know it's always a pleasure to meet me, now what did you want to

talk about.” I take a step into his cage, the smell of blood still lingers in

the air making my stomach want to throw up its contents.

"My king has told me a lot about you and I just wanted to see if it was

all true.” his eyes travel up my body making me shiver in disgust at him

"And what does the king have to say about me?" I fold my arms across

my chest as I waited for my answer.

"He said your very beautiful and that I will have to agree with him.” A

lusty purr leaves his chest making Anthony growl in warning at him, I

smirk as I stare at the rogue.

"He said you where we'll guarded even though your not Queen

anymore." nod in understanding, it's always been hard for anyone to

get to close because I have so many people watching my back at all

times.

"your only telling me what I already know, give me something better” I

challenge him, slowly I walk around his chair in the hopes to agitate

him.

"My king said you have a son and yet I don't see him with you." I slam

my claws into his thigh.

"I do have a son, but we know you can do better then that." I growl in

his ear.

"Your son is more powerful then his own father.” I let out a dark chuckle

as J remove my claws from his leg and drag them very slowly up his

arm.

"That one I did know and so do fifty percent of my pack, if you have

nothing good to give me then I may as well kill you now.” flexing my

fingers in front of him, I watch as he gulps quickly and watches my

fingers. I pop my claws out all the way, female wolves hav longer claws

then males and mine grew to about six inches long.

"do they know who his real daddy is?" that got a loud growl from me

and I swipe his jaw with my claws.

"Watch what you say next rogue” I hiss in his face, I can feel my wolf

showing her presence as we both watch him closely.

"I know his true father doesn't know about him and the fact your KING

doesn't know what you did five years ago.” He let out an evil chuckle

and I glare at him as now I have fully lost my cool, with my hands in full

wolf claws I jam my claws deep into his leg and enjoy his scream of

pain.

"What does your king want with me?" I growl in his face, my anger was

taking over and making my wolf want to shift.

"You took something of his so now he will take something of yours.” I

stare at him with a blank fac, removing my claws I replace them under

his ribs and twist.

"What does he intend on taking?" I demand, when he didn't answer I

moved my nails to face upwards inside, he scream once more an blood

starts to seep out of his mouth.

"Your son.” He scream, I lean into his ear and whisper.

"Your king touches my son and it won't be my pack that comes for him,

I will kill him myself." with that I slash my claws across his neck and get

sprayed all over my body with his blood. Not sparing another second I

walk out of the cell and back to my room where I showered and

changed into shorts and a singlet top. I tried to calm my wolf down but

nothing worked, so I rang my father who answered on the second ring.

"Hello."he says and you could hear the power in his voice.

"How is Xaiden?" I ask him as I finally am able to take a seat.

"he is good, he's just having lunch at the moment" I sigh at the fact my

son is safe.

"you need to keep a closer eye on him, the rogue king has something

up his sleeves." he makes me tell him everything that just happened

and then tells me they will put in extra patrols and always have

someone with him. after that I say goodbye and hang up. I felt a lot

better now knowing my son was safe so I took a walk into the gardens.

Roses where everywhere as I walked towards the water fountain,

looking over I see four little fish swimming around.

"You always did love the water features best.” my heart stop at the

sound of his voice. so many emotions ran through me at that very

moment and yet all I did was stand still in my place.
