i took a look around the place and it was so beautiful. i think mattia won the best decorater award. he did way better than i did for his birthday.
i walked around to greet everyone. " happy birthday av" i hear behind me. i turn around to face whoever it was. " omg micheal , what are you doing here?" i exclaimed. i was so shocked and happy that he was here. i pulled him in for the deepest hug and he rocked us back and forth.
" same reason why im here," another voice appears. i release from the hug and turned around again. "Â mariano, so glad your here." i smile giving him a hug as well. " thank you for saving my life." i whisper in his ear. " any time"
" we have some much to catch up on while your here." i tell michael. " yeah i know , you can start by telling me how you ended up dating your boss?" he chuckles.
" oh thats a story for another time , but ill see you around i need to look for someone." i inform him and walk away.
i look around the ballroom but they are no where to be found. i finally spot them at the fountain. i walk over to them move swiftly through the crowd blocking me.
" hey , you look amazing." camila smiles at me. she pulls me in for a hug and rubs my back. i have been getting alot of hugs today. " thank you , you all look amazing aswell." i say looking around the ballroom again.
" babe is something on your mind? you look nervous." jessica ask me.
i blink a few times before actually turning back to answer her. " um have you guys seen , amara or axel?"
" nope nuh uh , this is your party. you are not gonna let that girl get into your head." camila shakes her head. " exactly, she got nothing on you anyways. surprise she aint show uo yet-" jessica states.
" who didnt show up yet?" a voice booms behind us. all three of us turn around and it was just who i was looking for. i roll my eyes.
" avery you look amazing and happy birthday!" she smiles as if she hasn't done anything to me. i turn to the girls and smile at them. " if youll excuse us , amara come with me pls."
i grab onto her hand and push past the people in the way. i walk up the stairs and find an empty room to go in. i find one father away from the front and push her in. i lock the door behind us and step infront of her.
" you have some fucking nerve coming here," i snapped. i was beyond angry that she even showed up. she trys to get up off the floor but i push her back down.
" i was invited" she groans. what? mattia would never invite her? " i see your still with your cheating ass man."
" listen here bitch , whatever sick fucking game your trynna play isn't working on me. im not as stupid as you think." i hiss.
she thought i wouldnt find out the truth. she got all that information from her brother , trust me he has something coming his way as well. " you fell for it at the restaurant so you must be that stupid." she smirks.
my hand flys across her face. the left side of her face turns red and she winces at the pain. she places her hand on her face to surpress the pain.
" your so fucking weak , i dont even know what mattia see's in you." she chuckles.
i put my foot on her chest and push her into the floor. my anger has reached its peeks and im getting sick of her. i pull ny gun out if my clutch and throw it on the floor.
i point the gun at her face. " i dont wanna kill you , but your making it really hard for me not to. you try one fucking stunt im dig walking your ass out if here myself , copy?" i growled.
" you wont shoot me-" she begins. i shoot a bullet into the floor inches away from her face. she flinches and i push my foot harder into her chest. " next time i wont miss"

i started a conversation with jessica and camila. i was really looking for avery but i got caught off guard.
in between our laughs someone starts to speak in our earpieces. " gunshot coming from upstairs."
" avery , she went up there with amara." jessica says. we rush over to the stairs and take out our guns. we meet up with alejandro and kairi and walk up the stairs.
" avery where are you?" alejandro yells. we found a room with the door closed. i twist it open and she was standing over amara with her gun pointed at her head.
" please get this physco bitch off of me," amara yells under avery's foot.
" i pretty sure what ever you did , you deserved this." kairi rolls his eyes and put down his gun. we do the same and i walk over to avery.
" come on , you can kill her when its not your birthday." i lift avery's foot off of amara's chest. i grab her purse and put her gun back in it. i hand it to her and we walk out the room leaving sarah or whatever on the floor.
" avery , what did she do for you to have her at gun point?" alejandro chuckles. " she pissed me off , i need to find axel i got something for his ass as well." she tries to run but i pull her back.
" nope that's enough trouble for the night. lets go and enjoy the party." i tell her.

mattia and i stood on the stage getting ready to give our announcement. my stomach was twisting and turning from nervousness. " hey everything is gonna be okay."
i smile in return as he grabs an empty champagne glass. he hits a fork on it gathering everyone's attention. everyone stands close to the stage and stares at us. mattia grabs onto ny hand and smiles at me.
" first off i want to say thank you to everyone who showed up to celebrate this special day with me. i was really surprised when i saw so many people here considering most of you dont know me. i have had a really hard week so this helped me alot."
i turn to mattia , " mattia thank you so much for taking the time out of your week to do all of this for me. i love your more than anything. you introduced me to a family that i never had and made me feel ways that no one else could."
a bunch of awws went around the room and tears almost come out. " not only did we gather all of you here today for avery's birthday we also have some news of our own." mattia speaks.
everyone in the room looked so confused on what is about to happen. both mattia and i look at each other before sharing our announcement. " we officially have a new member of the polibio family , we expecting baby polibio #1" we both say.
everyone made a huge round of applause and excitement. this is one of the biggest achievements in my life. i was more than happy to announce this. i look to the left of me and the group looked so shocked. camila was jumping around with jessica with the biggest smile on her face.
i tried to walk off the stage but mattia pulls me back. " everyone wait , one more thing i have to say." mattia starts. he spins me around and holds on to both of my hands.
" avery , you make me the happiest man alive. even though i have done some cery bad things to get you , i don't regret any if it. everything we have been through made me realize that some people dont have forever. i want to change that. for once in my life , i dont have to try to be happy. when im with you it just happens."
the waterworks are hitting me in the face right now. this has to be one of the sweetest things any guys had ever said to me. no matter how much stress we put each other through, we still find a way to love each other.
the love that we have for each other is one of a kind. when we first met we were both two damaged people , trying to heal each other with love.
he was the love that came without any warning. he had my heart even before i could say no. he set fire to the world around him , but yet never let a flame touch me.
mattia kneels infront of me and immediate tears form. i dont care if i ruin my makeup because it doenst matter right now.
" i fell in love with you not knowing what love really was. i stayed in love with you because no one else made me feel the way you did. i still fall in love with you everyday because there is no one i picture my future except you and only you."
" i wanna marry you because yoir the first person i want to look at when i wake up in the morning. the only one i wanna kiss good night. the first saw these hands , i couldnt imagine not being able to hold them. But mainly, when you love someone as much as i love you , getting married was the only thing left to do. So Avery Brylee Adair , would you marry me?"
my heart hit my ass. he pulled out a black velvet box , opening to a beautiful silver ring. but that didn't matter , the only thing that did was the fact that im about to marry the love of my life.
" yessss, yes i would love to marry you!" i screamed. he places the ring on my finger and gets off his knee. he spins me around and kisses me.
i held on to him for as long as i can. i wrapped my legs around his waist and released from the kiss. i pressed my forehead onto his and exchanged the biggest smile. its felt so surreal.
" we did it baby," he whispers to me. " i know , thank you. i love you so much."
he puts me down and we look at the crowd who was either cheering, surprised, or in disbelief. " my bestie is engaged guyssss!!" camila yells while running towards me.
all i could do is smile.

i believe that when two people are in love with each other , you can see it in their eyes. the way they look at each other , the way they stare at each other, its all there. their eyes are full of admiration, of attraction, of undying feelings for each other. their eyes twinkle,their eyes are smiling. even if they didnt say a word about it, theres this invisible thread connecting them two.
yall this chapter made me so happy! i cried way to much. i have been so emotional with this story lately. all love how its all coming together and they are finally getting their happy moment.
