Tomorrow.)
Arigaoa was outside with Iken. The two sat on a bench near their school courtyard, enjoying the warm sun on their faces. Arigaoa was scribbling in her notebook, while Iken watched the other students walk by, hearing their conversations.)
Arigaoa: Iken, do you ever feel overwhelmed by all this? The studying, the exams... it's like there's never any time to just breathe.
Iken: I get what you mean. Sometimes it feels like we're just stuck in this cycle of constant pressure and expectations. But... at the same time, I think it's important to remember why we're here.
She then looked at her.)
Iken: But don't you think that it is strange that you complain about that since you do nothing but study?
Arigaoa let out a small, exasperated sigh. She knew Iken had a point - she was known for her studious nature and dedication to her academics. But that didn't mean she didn't feel the pressure and yearn for a break from it all.)
Arigaoa: I know, Iken. But sometimes, even studying feels endless. It's like we're constantly chasing after perfection, but for what? Will it really make us happy in the end?
Iken: Well, it's important for our future. Even if school is mostly useless, that doesn't mean we should give up on it.
Arigaoa rose up from the bench, but suddenly, her foot caught on a loose rock, causing her to stumble forward. She quickly regained her balance, but not before her notebook flew out of her hands and landed on the ground.)
Arigaoa: *frustrated* Great, just great! Now I have to pick up all my notes again.
Iken was quick to offer assistance, bending down to help collect the scattered pages. As they gathered the papers, Iken noticed something peculiar. The pages were covered in doodles and sketches, not a single note or equation in sight.)
Iken: *confused* Arigaoa, why are there no notes? Did I accidentally grab the wrong notebook?
Arigaoa let out a sheepish laugh, realizing her mistake. She glanced at the pages filled with colorful drawings and characters and sighed with a mix of embarrassment and amusement.)
Arigaoa: Actually, Iken, these are my doodles. I must have picked up my sketchbook instead of my notebook.
Iken raised an eyebrow, still holding a page with a beaver sketched across it.)
Iken: So, you've been secretly doodling during class this whole time?
Arigaoa: *looking away* Y-Yes...
Iken: *sighs* You are so awkward...
Zip: *behind Arigaoa* Ow! You're crushing me, zippu!
Arigaoa quickly released her grip, embarrassed by the unintended harm she had caused. Zip, the tiny magical creature, fluttered up into the air, rubbing her slightly flattened body with a pout on her face.)
Zip: That hurt, zippu! Watch where you're stepping next time!
Arigaoa bowed her head apologetically, feeling guilty for squishing her main companion.)
Arigaoa: I'm really sorry, Zip. I didn't mean to hurt you.
Zip crossed her tiny arms and huffed.)
Zip: Well, just make sure to be more careful, zippu! We fairies may be small, but we have feelings too!
Iken couldn't help but chuckle at the amusing interaction between Arigaoa and Zip.)
Iken: You really are a magnet for chaos, Arigaoa. First mixing up your notebook and sketchbook, and now crushing poor Zip.
Arigaoa: Looks like we can take a break from school for the moment since it's time for lunch. I want to see what Mine, Shikuna, and Inuyama's school is like.
Zip: Mine, Shikuna, and Inuyama's school? You don't all work at the same place, zippu?
Arigaoa: No, Zip. Mine, Shikuna, and Inuyama are my friends from another school. They've invited me to join them for lunch today.
Iken: I've heard that Faith goes to school too. As weird as it may sound.
Arigaoa nodded in agreement, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. She had always found Faith to be an intriguing character, and the thought of joining her friends for lunch filled her with excitement.)
Arigaoa: Yes, Faith goes to a different school as well. She's part of a curriculum that focuses on physical training and combat skills. It's quite different from our school, but I've always admired her dedication.
Zip: I-I see, zippu... you should get moving, then.
Arigaoa: As if we wouldn't.
They began to gather their belongings and make their way towards the entrance of the school. Arigaoa's mind was buzzing with anticipation as she thought about the lunch gathering with her friends from another school. It was a chance to escape the monotony of studying and exams, even if just for a little while.)
---
Later...)
Iken: I feel like we won't make it in time for our own classes.
Arigaoa glanced at her watch, realizing that they were indeed cutting it close. But the prospect of spending time with her friends from another school was too enticing to pass up.)
Arigaoa: Maybe we can use this opportunity to learn something new, Iken. To see how different schools approach education and what we can take away from it.
Zip: Iken is right, though. You are being too reckless, Arigaoa. You need to keep up with your studies if you want to achieve your goals.
Iken nodded in agreement, her serious expression mirroring Zip's concern.)
Iken: Arigaoa, I understand your desire to experience something new, but we can't disregard our responsibilities. Maybe we can plan a time to visit their school another day, when we don't have classes.
Arigaoa: *stopping to walk* Geez... we still have time. It's not so far away. I know this town like the back of my hand. We can make it to their school and still be back in time for our classes. Plus, I really want to see what their school is like. It's not every day we get a chance like this.
Iken: *sighs again* If you insist.
Reluctantly, Iken agreed to accompany Arigaoa to her friends' school, knowing that she wouldn't be able to convince her otherwise. Zip let out a resigned sigh and fluttered along beside them, realizing that their adventure was inevitable.)
*traveling moment*
Finally, they arrived at the gates of the school where Mine, Shikuna, and Inuyama studied. The large campus sprawled before them, buzzing with energy and activity. Arigaoa's eyes gleamed with wonder as she took in the sight of the school's name.)
Arigaoa: "Hanoka Private Middle School." It's much bigger than our school, isn't it?
Iken: It certainly seems that way. I didn't realize how different it would be from what we're used to.
Zip: So many humans, zippu! It feels overwhelming!
Arigaoa led the way through the bustling campus, her curiosity piqued by the vibrant atmosphere. Students moved past them, some engrossed in conversation while others hurriedly made their way to their classes.)
Arigaoa: Let's start by finding my friends. They mentioned meeting at the building entrance, so we should head there first.
They reached the entrance of the main building, where Mine, Shikuna, and Inuyama were waiting for them. The three friends waved excitedly as they spotted Arigaoa approaching.)
Inuyama: Arigaoa! You made it!
Shikuna: We were starting to think you got lost or something.
Mine: Yeah, we didn't want to start eating without you.
Arigaoa smiled and gave them a playful nudge.)
Arigaoa: You know me too well. I couldn't resist the chance to see your school.
Szoz: Why are you two here, don't you have school in your own school too, pszoz?
Iken: Actually, we were allowed to leave the place. Also, you should know that showing yourself in front of so many people is uncalled for since you are an animaliouse.
Szoz: B-But... this school is a private school. I thought there was nobody but you around.
Iken: Private means that it is a school restricted to a specific group of people, but it does not mean that there are no other humans around. It's just that we're not as common as you might think.
Szoz: *muttering* No one told me about that... not even Shikuna informed me about your visit...
Shikuna: So, Arigaoa, what have you brought us?
Arigaoa pulled out a big, luscious watermelon wrapped in a brightly colored cloth.)
Arigaoa: I thought we could have a watermelon-cutting ceremony? It's a tradition in my family.
Inuyama: A watermelon-cutting ceremony? That sounds like fun.
Mine: It's a great way to cool off on a hot day like today. And we could take turns slicing it up.
Iken: Yes, the weather is hot for an autumn day... I can't disagree on that.
Shikuna: I really don't know how to cut a watermelon, though.
Arigaoa: No problem, Shikuna. I'll teach you.
After eating.)
Mine: Arigaoa, it's good that you came here since we have problems. Our school is known for its unintelligent students. I have no idea why but apparently we are the most intelligent ones. I need you to make everyone here improve.
Arigaoa and Iken: We will!
Mine: You'd have to infiltrate now.
Arigaoa: Why?
Mine: So you can access and take charge of them. This is a job for adults, remember?
Arigaoa: *nods*
Iken: We'll go.
The school bell rang.)
First part of the task.
---
Arigaoa: (Think: This isn't a superior school for the most gifted people... weird that our other friends work here.) *crawling somewhere in a class, wearing an uniform* Mm, I think they are in difficulty. I'll see what's wrong...
9999996633322225534 + 2556321596 = 9.9999966e+18
Random female student: It's too hard to solve... what's happening with our teacher...? Oh, and I forgot my notebook!
Arigaoa: Huh?! What kind of operation is that?!
And it was written in an old typewriter font...)
The rest of the class: *geniuses*
Arigaoa: Well... maybe we should help the others...?
Iken: But... how?
Arigaoa: I... don't know... but I think something's going on...
One way or another, it appeared to be like a test to see if they had what it takes. They couldn't be incorrect.)
Arigaoa: *showing off* Uh, hi. I'm here to make this school better and help the students in difficulty.
Everyone: *totally blank expressions and then laughs*
Iken: *still hiding*
Arigaoa: *shocked face*
The teacher: Stop! Young girl, you can't just barge in here and say that you will be a person helping the others in difficulty, this is a private school too! Do you have any idea about this?! Return to the school where you came from!
Arigaoa: Oh no! I-I can explain! I'm so sorry, school teach!
Iken: Task failed...
The teacher: You over here!
Iken: Ah, she just heard me!
Arigaoa: All of this wasn't a so smart idea...
They left.)
---
Mine: *noticing Arigaoa* What happened?
Arigaoa: That was awful... If anything really awful... W-We failed the taaask!
Mine: You know, you could try harder, maybe the school is too much for you... Sorry about that.
Arigaoa: It's not that, it's just... I couldn't do anything, all the students laughed at me for coming here and pretending that I work in this school and the teacher caught us! I'll do better next time! They're not even worth it! I could only help one or two, the rest are too smart for me and I wouldn't be able to act nice with them...
Mine: I thought Iken was the only smart one here...
Arigaoa: Well, it's complicated... *sniffle*
Inuyama: Don't worry about It.
Arigaoa: *feeling strangely down*
Iken: No, we should worry...
Arigaoa: (Think: I shouldn't be so sad about it but I do...)
Iken: Well, class is back for us. Let's take the elevator.
Arigaoa: It might be dangerous!
Iken: Why do you think that? I can't say I disagree but...
Arigaoa: But what?
Iken: ...
Shikuna: It's annoying when people can't answer you when you talk to them.
Mine: Maybe, but she's going through some hard time right now.
Someone screamed of fear of failing an exam, complaining about having scolionophobia.)
Arigaoa: !!!
Tûp: *summoning a BeKan monster out of that person*
Tûp changed EVERYONE's grades to bad ones. The whole students ran away in fear. Iken and Faith heard this as well as the animaliouses so they came.)
Zip: Transform, now!
They transformed into their Precure forms.)
Tûp: (Translation: Attack them! Don't let them dodge or even think about dodging!)
BeKan: *aims for a wall instead*
Tûp: (Translation: You idiot!)
Cure Smart: That's a very ironic thing to say coming from you... *notices the wall* Aaaaaah! The wall!
BeKan: *driven by walls*
Cure Professional: Ergh!
The BeKan completely spalled it, or rather them, by the force of the driving, the BeKan was blown away to a classroom. Being huge, the BeKan rammed through the room and landed on somebody's desk while making an uncomfortable noise. A girl was squeezed and squashed, causing the papers to fly all around the room.)
Cure Smart: NOOOOO, NOT THE STUDENT!
Cure Intello: Stop doing that! You've gone too far!
Tûp: *evil laugh* (Translation: You impertinent meanies won't be feeling alright when my BeKan finally destroy this entire school and everyone will go to detention FOREVER! If it finally obeys me, so much the better! You are all doomed!) *laughs again*
BeKan: *back on 2 legs and come back to the Cures, hitting them hard*
The Cures: *screaming and falling*
Tûp: *laughs even more*
BeKan: *makes another destructive rampage*
Cure Professional: No... No...! *cries* N-No!!
Cure Smart: *grits her teeth with a face having the mixture of sadness, shock and rage*
BeKan: *continuing*
Cure Smart: *snapping with fury*
BeKan: !!!
Tûp: !!!
Cure Smart: Why... How... How could you do such a thing?! You heartless girl! Stop destroying this school! Just stop! How dare you harm an innocent girl too?! You babies are all the same! I mean all the same! Shikuna, Mine and Inuyama are all part of this school, and you want to destroy it?! The people that built this establishment have done a hard work! School is important for our future and learning, some students here really need help! You just want to throw everything away by destroying and taking the lives of others! That's not good! Huh?! What you should know... is that having bad grades doesn't mean being entirely dumb...!
Cure Professional: Thank you... Smart... Well said...
Tûp: (Translation: Are you not hearing me?! Everything and everyone should suffer those consequences! The future and learning are pointless! I don't care if I want to destroy or harm innocents! Shut up! School force others to do things against their own will. They even subject dumb people to work on tests 5 days straight! I mean, this is good... But if it's to improve!)
Cure Smart: You can't say that! It's not fair! Others don't have to follow your cruel beliefs and you can't just do whatever you want!
Cure Professional: What Smart said is correct! You must stop!
Cure Smart: I don't care if I get bad grades, because I do have some! And it doesn't mean that I'm dumb! Nobody is perfect!
Cure Reason: *beating the BeKan* Everyone...!
Cure Smart: Hm!
They did the final group attack and the BeKan was finished.)
Tûp: *disappears*
They detransformed and the students' grades are back to normal.)
Shikuna: Darn, serious repairs need to be done here...
---
/Faith missed a lot of things/
Arigaoa: Me and Inuyama were involved in a trial affair, but those are just rumors, that they aren't true or believable.
Szoz: Don't you think that you're very selfish by keeping the real truth to yourself, pszoz?
Faith: What are you talking about...?
Arigaoa: Ah, sorry, I meant... We had a great day full of adventures.
Iken: I prefer you like that.
