Kevin stood in the parking lot of the hotel with the two Alphas that had agreed to help him. When he explained to them what happened, they were concerned with Alpha Gordon's actions and were more than willing to help. They would each go in with two guards and the men from each pack would wait at the border. They would only be needed if the initial plan failed. Alpha Soren looked at Kevin. "Are we ready?" Kevin and Alpha Asher nodded. He dialed the number.
"Alpha Gordon."
"Marcus this is Soren. I am coming over with a couple of other Alphas. A situation has arisen that needs to be dealt with."
"What situation?" His tone was wary.
"I can't discuss it over the phone. We need to meet in person."
Marcus was silent for a moment. "Okay. I'll let patrol know to let you pass. How many are with you?"
"There are three of us and we each have two guards. We will be there in 30 minutes."
"See you then."
Alpha Soren hung up. Kevin called the men over. "Alright everyone, lets load up and get in position. Those going with us will go in these two SUV's." Kevin sent Lisa a text.
We're on our way.

Lisa was getting nervous. She had just received a text from the Alpha, they were on their way and everyone was still in the room. She hoped that whatever this distraction was it would get everyone out. Kyra still had not woken up, so she had to figure out a way to get her to the car. Jason had come back in and refused to leave. Lisa knew of only one person she could trust to help her, Mitch. He really cared for Kyra and was mad at Jason for denying her. Lisa took one last look at Kyra and left to go find Mitch. His room was on the ground floor, not the ideal place to talk with so many people around, but she was desperate. Lisa took a calming breath and knocked on his door. The door opened and Mitch glared at her. He still blamed her for everything that had happened.
"What do you want?"
"I need to talk to you about Kyra. It's important."
His glared softened at Kyra's name. "Five minutes." He held the door open and she nervously walked in.
"I need you to help me get Kyra down to her car."
"Why? What's going on?"
"I want to take her to the hotel in town until all this crap is resolved with Jason."
"What are you talking about?" Mitch was frowning at her.
"No one told you? Jason marked her without consent!"
"What the hell?! Why would he do that?" Mitch's face was turning red with anger.
"Doctor Madison told us that if Jason marked her that she would get her wolf back quicker. Kyra told him no and when he got her alone he marked her."
"Son of a...I'll help you. When do you want to do this?"
"I'll link you when everyone is out of her room. We will have to be quick. Thank you Mitch. If Kyra were able I'm sure she would thank you too." Lisa started walking to the door and Mitch stopped her.
"Why are you doing this?" He looked at her warily.
"Because she is my best friend and I lost sight of that with my own selfishness. I owe her." He nodded and she left to go back to Kyra's room.

When they got to the pack house it was decided that Kevin would wait outside until everyone was assembled. Soren and Asher took their guards and went inside, while Kevin, Henry and Tommy waited outside. Marcus answered the door and was confused as to why there were only two Alphas. "Soren...Asher, I thought you said there was another Alpha?"
Soren waived him off. "He will be in shortly, he's on a call to his pack. If you wouldn't mind we would like to have your son and the pack doctor and his wife in this meeting."
Marcus was suspicious. "What do they have to do with pack business?"
Asher spoke up. "We will reveal that when everyone is together can you call them please."
Marcus sent a mind link to everyone. "They're on their way, let's go to my office."
They sat in his office not speaking, until everyone had arrived. Soren sent Kevin a message to come inside. Jason's head snapped up when Kevin walked in the door. Jason and his father growled. "What are you doing here?!"
Soren answered for him. "It has come to our attention that you and your father kidnapped one of his pack members."
Marcus was angry. "She is my son's mate!"
"What right does that give you to kidnap her?! Are we to think that if one of your pack members were to find a mate in one of our packs, that you would kidnap them if they refused to go?!" Asher was angry now.
Marcus knew he had to choose his words carefully. "Of course not. This was a different situation." Pointing at Kevin. "He brainwashed her into believing that she was his mate. We had to take her out of that situation."
Kevin had heard enough. "Your son denied her and asked me to take her into my pack, so the bond would break and he could mate with his girlfriend! We were forming a bond because their's had weakened. I do not have a mate and Kyra's denied her. The moon goddess was giving us another chance!"
"That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. There are no second chance mates. You only ever get one and she is mine." Jason glared at him.
Asher had heard enough as he glared at Jason. "For a future Alpha you don't know very much. My wife is my second chance mate. It is very rare but it does happened. Mainly to Alphas."
Jason looked at them with a smug grin. "It doesn't matter anyway." His eyes shifted to Kevin. "I've already marked her.".
Christine stood up. "Without her consent!"
As soon as the words left her mouth, Kevin roared and lunged for Jason.

When Jason and Kyra's parents left the room she mind linked Mitch. Lisa paced the room nervously. Ten minutes later she was about to call him again when the door opened. "We have to move quickly. Something is going on downstairs and they're calling for me." He scooped Kyra up from the bed. Lisa looked out in the hall to see if it was clear. She opened the door and he ran down the hall to the back stairs, Lisa following closely. They made it to the car and Mitch laid her on the backseat. Lisa covered her with a blanket and jumped in the drivers seat, not wasting any time she started the car and hit the gas. Lisa could hear the growling and howls coming from the house. She didn't relax, even when she crossed the border, until she reached the hotel they had agreed to meet at. Lisa parked the car and looked back to check on Kyra. There was a knock on her window, she jumped and her elbow hit the horn. With a racing heart, she looked out the window. There stood a mountain of a man grinning at her. Lisa frowned and cracked the window just enough to speak to him. "What's wrong with you?! Are you trying to give me a heart attack?!"
He let his grin slip. "I'm sorry. I thought you saw me walking towards the car. I'm Josh. Alpha Haynes asked me to guard you until he gets back."
Lisa's runaway heart was starting to slow down. She still needed to be cautious. "If you work for the Alpha you won't mind answering some questions then."
The grin was back and he shrugged. "Sure."
"What is the painting over the fireplace in the Alpha's office?" She remembered the painting well. It had been her focal point she was so nervous that day.
"It's a Matisse. A girl sitting at a desk reading."
She still wasn't sure. Someone could of told him about the painting. Lisa smiled at her next question. "What color are the walls in the dining room painted?"
He cocked an eyebrow at her. "Actually its wallpaper. Gold damask to be exact."
Lisa considered it for a minute. "Okay. I guess I'll have to trust you." She unlocked the door and nervously stepped out. "If you do anything to hurt her I will go wolf on you and beat your ass. Got it?"
Josh smirked at the tiny girl in front of him. She was a good foot shorter and looked like she was barely 100 lbs. "Sure, I got it." She opened the back door and he reached in and picked Kyra up. "Stop acting so nervous. I'm carrying an unconscious girl into a hotel I don't want to attract attention." Lisa glared at him. She wasn't sure that she liked him. Hopefully the Alpha would be there soon. Lisa pulled her phone out of her pocket and sent him a text that they had arrived.
