"Alright, I'll give my best to support you!”

Donna was conscious of the things Megan was up to after collaborating with her for such a long

time. She responded with a bright grin because she was equally excited about the things awaiting

them in the future.

She wrapped her arms around Megan and said, “Shall we go home?”

Megan's eyes widened in disbelief when Donna brought up the suggestion—she forgot to tell her

Jake had brought her back to his place against her will.

What should I do? Since I lied when I was involved in the production of the show, I guess it's time

for me to explain everything, huh?

"What's wrong, Megan? Don't you want to go home?” The observant Donna noticed Megan's

hesitation and got in front of her.

Megan looked elsewhere because her mind was all over the place. Once she figured out she

wouldn't be able to keep it to herself any longer, she decided to tell Donna the truth.

She looked at Donna in the eyes and announced, “Donna, I need to tell you something—I won't be

staying at your place from today onwards.”

When Donna heard her, her heart skipped a beat because she was confused by the reason behind

the decision that came out of nowhere.

It took her a few seconds to snap out of the state of bewilderment. Confused, she asked, "Why? Is

anything bothering you?”

Megan sighed and started recalling the timeline of the entire incident. Once she had everything

summarized, she shared the key events with Donna.

Subsequently, Donna covered her mouth and chuckled in return. She added in a playful manner,

“Don’t you think it's only a matter of time before you're a member of the Wilson family?”

Megan rolled her eyes because Donna wouldn't stop laughing. Truth be told, she considered herself

lucky to be able to stay next to Jake.

She was afraid he might change his mind if he was aware of the truth. In the end, she decided to

stop overthinking things because she couldn't do anything to change the outcome.

Blinking her eyes with a mischievous look, Megan replied, “Can you stop pulling my leg? I'll spend

the time being in his apartment, but I'll sneak my way out once every once and then because I want

to stay with you as well.”

Donna nodded in return, indicating she had taken note of Megan's words.

“If that's the case, I guess we'll be heading back to our respective place?”

Apart from Let's Run, Megan wasn't involved in the production of other shows because she wanted

to make the most out of her limited time and avoid getting herself involved in overly time-

consuming production.

When she saw the nearby boutique store, she remembered the bunch of clothes Jake had sent her

which she had merely worn.

She clapped her hands when she thought of the things they could do. “Come with me! Let's go

home and retrieve a few sets of clothes, then go for a candid photoshoot session!”

Confused, Donna repeated with a scrunched-up face, “A candid photoshoot?”

"You need to stop asking questions and get me a photographer as soon as possible! Please refrain

from hiring someone who's going to make a hole in my pocket! Once I retrieve the clothes, I'll head

over and meet you!”

Thrilled, Megan rushed home immediately after she finished delivering her instructions.

As soon as she was home, Megan picked the clothes that would be deemed fashionable seven years

later. After a simple mix-and-match session, she packed everything with her and rushed over to

meet up with Donna.

Candid photography wasn't a thing yet because smartphones weren't made available to the public.

In general, cameras with relatively limited pixels couldn't support candid photographs, whereas

digital cameras would cost a fortune. Thus, not many people in Chanaea could get do it now.

On the contrary, countless influencers would rise to fame due to candid photography within another

few years. They could easily portray themselves and their unique fashion sense. One of the most

iconic themes was airport fashion.

Since she knew it would be a thing soon, Megan decided to give it a try. If she could make a name

for herself in the fashion industry, she would be approached by brands to endorse their products.

Icon Fashion Show would be nothing more than a trivial event.
