Hermione found it very interesting how quickly the next couple of months passed by and how things had changed. It was September now, and she and Draco were spending nearly all of their time together. She smiled to herself as she remembered how nervous she was that first weekend she had spent over at his manor, and now she was spending her second full moon with him.

She laughed as she remembered just how much convincing it took for Draco to agree to that. He refused to let her stay for July's full moon, but with the help of Blaise he finally agreed to have her stay for August's full moon and because of how well that went, she insisted on staying for this one.

A sudden howl of pain made her jump and she checked her watch with a frown. It was already past sunset and she knew Draco would be changing soon. She shifted somewhat nervously in her chair, taking a deep breath to try and push away the nerves.

"Last month was fine," She muttered to herself. "This month will be fine too."

For good measure she checked to make sure her wand was still in her boot and sighed, leaning back into the chair. Another howl sounded, this one less painful and a little more quiet than the previous one. She left the chair and made her way towards the cellar, taking off the protective charms as she went.

A/N: Quick note, because of how much I hate the way the werewolves look in the movies, I've decided to go with the actual description of werewolves from the books. Here is a picture from the Pottermore article showing how the werewolves are supposed to look:

Draco was sitting patiently at the cell door, watching her. He tapped his paws against the stone floor when he came down the stairs and she couldn't help but laugh.

"I'm letting you out, just be patient!" She said as she pointed her wand at the cell door.

The lock clicked open and he immediately stood up, still tapping his paws impatiently. She laughed again and opened the door for him to leave the cell. He then circled around her a few times, sniffing her jeans while she stood very still.

It still shocked her just how large he was in his werewolf form; his head came up to her waist and his entire body length was longer than she was tall. It was very intimidating, but she found comfort in the fact that his eye color stayed the same between his forms; it reminded her that he was still her Draco.

After a few more seconds of sniffing, he looked up at her and then took a few steps towards the stairs, looking back at her with a huff.

Hermione couldn't help but grin at that as she moved towards the stairs as well and said, "I know, I know; we're going!"

He followed her up the stairs, his claws clacking on the stone steps as he did. As they walked out into the living room, he paused and looked around, and she laughed slightly.

"You're really not used to be out of the cell during the full moon," She said as she watched him inspect everything. "You did the same thing last time; everything's still the same as it was before."

He raised his head and huffed at her again before padding across the floor and then tilting his head towards the kitchen. She grinned and asked, "I'm guessing you're hungry?"

He tapped his large paw down on the floor once and then stared up at her, glancing towards the kitchen every so often. She laughed again and started to walk towards the kitchen with him in tow.

A sudden pop in the living room grabbed their attention and he started to growl but Hermione put a hand on his neck to stop him while raising her wand towards the person. She sighed with relief when she saw it was only Ginny, but the look on her friend's face caught her off guard as she realized that Ginny had never seen Draco in his other form.

"'Mione..." She started, staring down at Draco. "Did you happen to get a new pet while I was away?"

Draco huffed indignantly at that and shook his head, his ears flapping. Hermione laughed and looked over at the terrified Ginny and said, "No, it's Draco. Did you forget tonight was the full moon?"

"You know I don't keep track of things like that," Ginny answered quickly, still staring at the large white wolf next to Hermione. "He's not going to attack me, is he?"

"No, he took his potions which is why he's out," Hermione said with a smile. "He's basically just Draco in a wolf's body."

Ginny's shoulders dropped as she relaxed and she ran a hand through her hair. "Merlin, I nearly had a heart attack there..."

"You looked like it too," Hermione said. "Come on; I'll get you some tea."

Hermione patted Draco's neck again and he went with her into the kitchen with Ginny following a few paces behind for good measure. She still seemed very wary of the large wolf but tried not to show it as she sat down at the kitchen table.

"How was your game?" Hermione asked over her shoulder as she put water in the kettle.

Ginny frowned as she answered bitterly, "We lost. Bloody seeker got something in her eye in the middle of the game and couldn't see the snitch."

Hermione gave her a confused look as she asked, "Don't the players wear goggles?"

"Only when it rains."

There was another pop from the living room and Draco growled, standing up next to Hermione and using his side to push her protectively against the cabinets. He relaxed though when a frantic Blaise came into the room, yelping and practically jumping up onto the countertop behind him when he saw Draco.

Hermione and Ginny both laughed while Draco let out a sort of low howl while opening and closing his mouth, which only made Hermione laugh more.

"Is this safe?!" Blaise asked frantically as he looked between Hermione and Draco.

"Yes, you helped me convince him to let me stay here during full moons, remember?" Hermione raised an eyebrow at the wizard currently crouching on Draco's countertops.

"Yes, but I didn't think you'd be letting him roam around the house!"

"It's his house, Blaise!" Hermione grinned and put a hand on Draco's neck again, prompting him to sit down and lean against her leg. "There, see? You can come down from the counter now."

Blaise reluctantly lowered himself onto the floor and he sidestepped over to Ginny who was grinning at him. "I would've thought out of the three of us, you'd be more used to seeing him in his werewolf form, Blaise."

"I've never actually seen it myself," Blaise admitted as he sat down next to her and looked across the room at Draco. "Of course he's a white wolf."

"Well yeah, have you seen how blond his hair is?" Ginny asked, looking over at Draco as well.

Draco huffed again at the two of them and made a series of noises as if he were trying to talk back to them. Hermione giggled and patted his neck again as she said, "Love, they can't understand you."

He tilted his head to look up at her and huffed again before letting out a short whine.

"Yes, I have your dinner right here," She said, holding up a rare steak with a fork. "Are you sure you don't want me to sear it, though? I don't really want to just give it to you raw..."

Draco immediately leapt up and snatched the steak from her hand before running off with it into the living room. Hermione grabbed a plate and chased after him yelling, "At least use a damn plate, Draco! You're not a complete animal!"

As she disappeared from the kitchen, Blaise heard Ginny snicker before she leaned over and said quietly, "This is probably the funniest thing I've seen in a while."

"I never would have thought that he would keep his personality as well when taking the potions," Blaise said with a grin.

Hermione stomped back into the kitchen with the plate still in her hand and a furrowed brow as she muttered something incomprehensible under her breath. Ginny laughed again and asked, "No luck with the plate?"

"I swear to Merlin, it's like dealing with a child!" Then she pointed at them and said, "He was well behaved last full moon, so I'm blaming you two!"

Blaise put his hands up in defense and said, "I'm only here because I got worried about Ginny!"

"And I'm here because I was worried when I couldn't find you at your house," Ginny added. "I wanted to surprise you with a girls' night since I was gone for a few days but you weren't home and I figured you'd be here."

Hermione sighed and shook her head as she leaned back against the counter and crossed her arms against her chest. "I can understand that."

Draco interrupted by trotting happily into the kitchen, sitting down just inside the doorway.

"Are you happy now?" Hermione asked sarcastically to him.

His response was to lick his muzzle thoroughly, which only made her scowl at him as she said, "You're cleaning that spot tomorrow, and you better remember where it is because I do and I'm going to make sure you clean it."

Blaise and Ginny both grinned at each other as Draco went to nuzzle against her legs, letting out a low whine. Hermione rolled her eyes and shook her head before saying, "Yes, you're very cute. But you're not getting out of cleaning the floor."

Draco plopped down next to her with an indignant huff and looked over at Blaise and Ginny, who were both silently laughing with each other.

"I'm sorry, this is just so funny to watch," Ginny said through a laugh. "The one-sided conversation makes it even better."

Blaise nodded in agreement and Hermione couldn't help but grin, realizing just how ridiculous it might've looked that she was arguing with a wolf. It didn't help that the wolf had an attitude in return.

"Well, I think tonight calls for a little wine," Blaise announced as he stood up. "I'll go grab a bottle for all of us. Except you, Draco."

If wolves could scowl, Blaise would certainly be on the receiving end of one and he knew it. Hermione and Ginny both laughed at this and soon the four of them were all in the living room, with Ginny and Blaise on one couch and Draco and Hermione on the other. Draco was sat up on his hindquarters right next to Hermione, which Ginny found hilarious due to the fact that Draco was much taller and could rest his head on Hermione's without much difficulty.

"I'm shocked that more people don't know how tame werewolves are when they have their potions," Ginny said as she pulled her feet up onto the couch and leaned into Blaise. "I feel like they wouldn't be scared then."

"The fear is the hard thing to get past though," Hermione said sadly. "I've been trying to put together enough evidence to publish a few papers and get the knowledge out there that when werewolves have steady access to their potions, they aren't a danger."

"Draco's doing his part to help, too," Blaise said before taking a sip of his wine.

Draco looked over at Blaise and let out a low growl that caused Hermione to raise an eyebrow at the large wolf. "How so?"

"I-I mean..." Blaise stammered a bit before sighing and explaining, "He's been documenting his experiences as a werewolf the past few months since you mentioned something to his father about getting notes from your clients. I guess he wanted to help out as well."

Hermione's eyebrows shot up in surprise and she looked at Draco. "Really?"

Draco bobbed his head up and down as if to nod, which made Hermione smile. "I'm just worried that if word gets out that the notes are from Draco, your company's reputation would take a devastating hit."

"Why not publish them anonymously?" Ginny suggested.

"Oh I was going to, but you know how reporters are here," Hermione sighed. "I'm still worried they're going to figure out who the people are behind the notes and expose them, undoing all the work I've tried to do as far as tackling the prejudice against werewolves. I don't want people targeted..."

Draco huffed at that and shifted on the couch so he was now lying down and his head was now resting on Hermione's thigh. She settled back into the couch and absentmindedly put her hand on Draco's head, scratching behind his ears without realizing it.

Ginny and Blaise both stared in silence, waiting to see how Draco would react. The wolf simply closed his eyes, seemingly enjoying the head scratches and Ginny let out a squeal that caught both his and Hermione's attentions.

"I'm sorry, this is just way too cute," Ginny said, pointing between them. Then she looked up at Blaise with large eyes and said, "I want a wolf."

"Oh-kay, you've had enough wine," Blaise said as he reached for Ginny's glass.

She moved it out of his reach and triumphantly took a drink, smirking at him. He scowled at her and she crinkled her nose at him, shaking her head slightly. They heard another huff come from Draco and Hermione giggled too.

"Ginny might actually be one of the few stubborn enough to handle a wolf," Hermione said lightly.

"That's just what I need," Blaise muttered. "A stubborn girl and a stubborn wolf."

"You'll love us," Ginny said as she snuggled under Blaise's arm.

Blaise couldn't help but grin as he kissed the top of Ginny's head. "I know."

"Now who's being cute?" Hermione asked smugly behind her glass of wine.

Ginny tossed a pillow at her friend playfully and Hermione ducked out of the way with a laugh. Draco sat up and gave Ginny a look, who perked up with an idea.

"Here, take this," She said as she gave her wine glass to Blaise. "I want to try something."

Everyone watched her curiously as she conjured up a ball and held it up so that Draco could see it. Hermione, figuring out immediately what Ginny was trying to do, laughed and said, "I don't think it's going to work, Gin."

"Never know 'til you try, right?" Ginny answered, watching Draco.

Draco was watching the ball, his head following as Ginny moved her hand back and forth. Ginny grinned widely and tossed the ball into a hallway behind Draco and Hermione, and Draco immediately stood up on the couch, his eyes fixed on the hallway that the ball disappeared into.

Hermione stifled a laugh as she said, "I can't believe that somewhat worked!"

"He didn't chase after it though," Ginny said in a disappointed tone.

Blaise patted her arm while also trying to hold back laughter. "It's okay, sweetheart. It was still funny."

Draco sat back down on the couch and looked towards Ginny and Blaise, letting out another series of disgruntled noises. Hermione had to put her hand up to her mouth to hold back her laugh as her friends were scolded by Draco, and she shook her head as he stopped.

"I don't think he likes you throwing things in the house," Hermione said with a giggle.

"I was just trying to do research for Hermione!" Ginny countered, fighting back a grin. "I know I'll pay for it when he's back in his human form, but being scolded by a wolf is more amusing than terrifying."

Draco huffed and laid back down next to Hermione, who patted his head reassuringly. "It's alright, love; you're very scary."

She heard another huff and giggled again, shaking her head. "This has definitely been an interesting night. I can't say I imagined this was how I'd be spending my time but this is fun!"

"Maybe we can make this a monthly thing?" Ginny suggested. "I can't imagine that Draco would be opposed to company considering all the full moons that he must have spent alone."

Draco perked up at this and tilted his head slightly before looking up at Hermione. She smiled and said, "I think that's a wonderful idea. Make full moons a happy time instead of one he dreads."

Blaise  smiled  at  Ginny  and  wrapped  an  arm  around  her  proudly  as  Draco  let  out  a  short,  delighted  howl  that  rang  throughout  the  manor.  Hermione's  smile  widened  at  the  thought  of  making  an  otherwise  miserable  experience  for  Draco  just  that  much  better  for  him,  and  she  was  happy  that  their  friends  wanted  to  help  as  well.

A/N: Thank you all so much for your patience with this chapter! This one was a lot of fun to write, just imagining Draco and Hermione's interactions while he's in his werewolf form. And of course, Draco was going to be a white wolf considering his blond hair :) I hope you all enjoy! <3

PSA: wolves and wolf-hybrids are not meant to be pets! I simply added that part for fun, please do not go out and get a wolf. Okay love you all!
