Tyler awoke suddenly to a loud thud in the bathroom. He heard the shower's smooth thrash sound, and he glanced over expecting to see his sound asleep wife, yet no where to be seen.
He furrowed his eyebrows at this, and looked at the alarm clock. 1:34 AM.
What was she doing in the shower at a time like this? She should be asleep.
Tyler got up out of the bed and made his way to their bathroom to see if she was okay.
He knocked on the door softly. He waited, but no answer came. He tapped it again. But still no answer. So he decided to enter.
The shower was also used for a bath tub, so he couldn't clearly see who was in the shower. The curtain was pulled to give herself privacy. As he entered the small room he heard quiet cries from behind the curtain.
He soon realized that she wasn't okay, so he rushed to the curtain using his fingers to slightly pull back the curtain to peer into the tub.
There sat a balled up y/n, her head planted into her knees, and her arms wrapped around herself. She shook violently as the sobs escaped her wet mouth.
Tyler placed his warm hand on her slippery back, sending comfort like water rushing from the pipes and into the shower. Y/n glanced up at him, her eyes bloodshot, and her face wet from water and tears mixed.
She only cried harder, thrusting out all the bad feelings she felt into the drain.
Tyler sat on the toilet, which was beside the tub, and rubbed her back. He never spoke a word to her, knowing that she didn't feel like talking, only crying.
He nudged her to move foreword slightly as he climbed into the shower with her. He still had pajamas on but he didn't even think to notice.
He slid in between y/n and the wall and wrapped his arms around her stomach area, leaning his chest into her arched one. He leaned his cheek onto her wet shoulder, and let his feet fall on either side of her, holding her close to him.
She let out a few more aggressive weeps until she finally caught her breath, breathing heavily with the water shooting down on top of her head.
Tyler loosened his grip on her, giving her some needed space. But she instantly held him closer to her again, not wanting him to leave.
"You want to tell me what's wrong?" Tyler whispered, and y/n nodded, a shaky breath being inhaled.
"I- I got a call an hour ago." She stuttered. Tyler nodded, kissing her shoulder softly. "And- and I- I lost the baby." She let out another sob at her comment.
Tyler's eyebrows furrowed. A baby? He didn't know about any baby. What baby?
"What do you- what do you mean?" Tyler asked, and y/n gathered her breath.
"I- I was going to tell you about the baby but- but I couldn't- it's gone Tyler." She let out another cry. "I'm sorry."
So, y/n was pregnant and had a miscarriage before she could even tell me? Tyler thought.
"I- I didn't know you were pregnant." It was a big thing for Tyler to wrap his mind around. All he could think about was 'I was going to be a daddy and I didn't even know.'
"I was going to tell you tomorrow at dinner. 2 weeks." She let out another cry, but it was smaller this time. "It wasn't planned so I didn't want to tell you right away and freak you out."
Tyler rested his mouth into her shoulder, tears escaping his eyes at the thought. Gone before he even knew it.
Now Tyler was the one weeping.

This one sorta got out of hand. Not how I planned to end it but whatever.
I'm sick.
