"You either get your head out of your ass and see what's around you or you get the fuck out of my home."

Y/n's whole body ached as she threw up, her stomach pushing aggressively upward, and her whole throat burning with the acid. She gagged as she let out as much of her anxiety as she could.

She sighed, and she pulled her own hair away from her face. She sat cross legged on the bathroom floor of Taki's. Tyler was probably getting worried about her, so she had to go back out there.

She took a deep breath, before flushing the toilet and making her way out of the stall. One lady stared at her with disgusted eyes, and another looked at her with concern.

"Are you alright ma'am?" She asked, and y/n nodded, taking a napkin and wiping her lips.

"It wasn't the food, I promise." Y/n said as she rinsed her face with water to add some color to her ghostly face.

The woman only nodded, and proceeded to a stall.

Y/n took a deep breath, looking in the mirror to make sure it wasn't noticeable that she threw up. She looked tired.

She looked hella tired.

She wasn't surprised, this whole secret Jenna thing was exhausting. She wanted to tell Tyler what she said but she knew he wouldn't believe her. He never believes her anymore. It was always Jenna.

She slowly made her way back to the table, and right as she was about to slide in beside Tyler, he was already about to get up and search for her.

He left room, and she slid in beside him.

Once they got home, Tyler was set on Y/n going to bed and getting some rest. He was worried about her, and didn't want her to feel bad.

As y/n laid in the bed trying to sleep, she could hear the jolly laughs coming from downstairs. It made her want to curl into herself and die.

Why can't Tyler just see it? Can't he see what Y/n saw? She was sure Josh saw it too. So, why couldn't Tyler?

A knock tapped on the wooden door separating the bedroom from the hallway. Y/n groaned, but told them it was ok to enter.

"Hi," Josh spoke, as he sat down on the bed.

"Hi... what are you doing?" Y/n asked confused. Wasn't he supposed to be downstairs having fun with Tyler and Jenna?

"Jenna is being her normal annoying self so a came up here to see if you wanna come down and lighten the party up a bit?" He smiled, and y/n snorted out a laughter.

"Yeah, I'm going to ruin it probably. I can't stand looking at Tyler flirt with-" she stopped her words as her face fell. He might've not intended I'm flirting with her but he was. Her boyfriend was flirting with their roommate.

"Hey, it's okay. I know he loves you, he's just oblivious sometimes." Josh tried, shrugging his shoulders.

"Yeah, well, he's been oblivious to a lot of things lately." Y/n rolled her eyes. "He won't listen to how I feel about it."

Josh just stared at the ground. "I'm really sorry." He said sincerely.

"It isn't your fault. In some way it's both me and Tyler's fault. I won't speak up and he won't listen." Y/n let out a pathetic laugh, and Josh leaned back on the bed, dangling his feet.

He then begin to laugh. "Remember at Tyler's birthday party when we had a cake fight and Jenna got so mad that it got in her hair." He began to laugh harder, and y/n joined in.

"Oh my god, that was priceless! When you got her straight in the nose." Y/n flung her head back as she laughed, now laying beside Josh.

"I'm going to be honest I was aiming for her 'new pair of jeans'" he mocked Jenna's high pitched voice.

"Oh my god." Y/n couldn't stop laughing, she was sure she was going to throw up again but this time for a different reason. She really needed a good laugh, and Josh was always good at making her laugh.

"I love that, she's such a bitch." Y/n was still laughing but was calming herself down.

"Ugh, agreed." Josh rolled his eyes.

"Hey..." a voice interrupted their talk, it sounded small and confused but it also sounded male.

Tyler.

Y/n lifted her head, smiling up at him. "Hey, Josh came to give me some company."

Tyler gave a clearly fake smile. He looked as if he wasn't sure what to do. "Josh, I think you should go." He exclaimed quietly, and Josh nodded.

"Alright, man." Josh hopped up from his position of the bed, patting Tyler shoulder, and leaving.

Y/n rested her head back down, as Tyler stared at her for a few seconds.

"I didn't...   I didn't like that." Tyler mumbled quietly. He sounded unsure, as if he didn't know what to think. His posture showed him uncomfortable, and his hand rubbed the back of his neck.

Y/n's eyes went wide at his words, anger flowing through her veins. Oh, he didn't like that? Well, she doesn't like him and Jenna.

Y/n scoffed, a smug smile forming on her face. "What do you mean you didn't like that?"

"That." He gestured to the bed. "You and Josh. I didn't like it."

"I could say the same thing to you, you know." Y/n sat up on the bed.

"What do you mean?" He furrowed his eyebrows in total confusion.

"You and Jenna. I didn't like that." She repeated his words, and Tyler's eyes darkened.

"This again?" His voice became less calm, and his fists clenched to his sides. "You don't know what you're talking about, y/n. We're friends."

Y/n began to laugh mockingly at him. She couldn't believe he was still oblivious. "Yeah and josh and I are friends."

"I saw the way you looked at each other at Taki's!" His voice raised, and his cheeks reddened.

"Well, I see the way you look at Jenna!" Y/n's voice raised with Tyler's and it only made Tyler livid.

"If you just fucking looked with your eyes you'd see how much I try to make you happy." Tyler shook his head. "You'd see how much I try to be a good boyfriend."

"Well, you're not!" Y/n screamed, and Tyler's face soon became hurt, but quickly covered up by an angry one.

"You're the one thinking I'm sneaking behind your back! You're to caught up in what Jenna is doing to even see how much I do for you!" Tyler's voice seems broken but filled with anger. "I love you. Isn't that enough to see past Jenna?"

"Loving me and being a good boyfriend I totally different things, Tyler." Y/n's voice was now calm. "Well, you are a good boyfriend." Y/n suddenly changed her words, now feeling bad for just telling him that. Her emotions were on a roller coaster. She had no idea how she felt at the moment. Sad, angry, or scared.

"What do you feel about me? Be honest." Tyler's voice was also calm.

"I feel scared." Y/n's eyes welled up with tears. "Scared to lose you to her. She's so much better than me."

Tyler stared at her for a moment before rolling his eyes. "No, none of that bullshit. What do you feel about me?"

"That is how I fucking feel, Tyler!" Y/n raised her voice once again. They've never yelled this much before. "If you would just listen to me!"

"I do listen to you! You can't sit there and tell me I don't because you know for a fact that I do! And I do care for you, more than you'd like to admit. And I do love you. I am a good boyfriend." Tyler sighed, shaking his head and looking down. "I am going to give you a choice, y/n." He looked up, his face determined and serious. There was no sign of a lie in his eyes. "You either get your head out of your ass and see what's around you or you get the fuck out of my home."

Y/N's heart fell at his words. His home. Not ours. His.

Before Tyler could get a chance to reconsider what he said he turned around and swiftly left the bedroom.

Tyler marched downstairs, sloppily putting his shoes on, and grabbing his jacket. He flung the door open, hearing Jenna ask where he was going but he didn't stop. He needed to clear his mind before he said anything else he'd regret.

The drive was short due to his heaving chest and clammy hands. He couldn't drive in this mental state. It wasn't safe.

He stopped on the side of the road, and pressed his fingers to his throbbing forehead.

This wasn't good. That wasn't a fight that he could just come back from. He messed up.

Of course, he still didn't believe y/n the slightest bit. He almost felt angry at her still, but he knew he was being stupid. He loved her so much. One fight shouldn't get in the way of their relationship.

He had to go home and tell her how sorry he was. How could they live together like this? In this predicament.

He stayed on the side of the road, watching the cars pass for nearly 2 hours. He didn't want to go home yet. He was afraid that she wouldn't be there anymore.

The sun was setting when he finally got the courage to put the car in drive.

Not even the radio was keeping his head quiet at this point. It ended up being an annoying noise in the background, which was surprising to Tyler because he usually always loved music; It was never just noise.

As he unlocked the apartment door and swung it open, he began to head for the stairs.

"Where are you going?" Jenna asked for the couch.

"I need to talk with y/n." He replied shortly.

"She left." Jenna couldn't help but smile, but covered it with her blanket.

Tyler froze in his place. His limbs suddenly felt heavier and his body felt like falling to the floor. He had a warm feeling come into his chest, but it wasn't pleasant like the warm feeling he'd get touching y/n, or vice versa. It was sickening and overwhelming, and all he wanted to do was sob away the feeling. "Wh- what do you mean she left? Will she be back?"

"Nope, she took her things. She was gone rather quickly." Jenna giggled a little bit.

Tyler clenched his fists to his sides. "This is funny to you?" He gritted his teeth.

"No, I'm sorry Tyler. I really am." Jenna sighed.

"No you're not." Tyler shook his head, as he continued up the stairs.

He tossed through the closet looking for a sign of something she might've left for him.

Nothing.

The bed was made, the bathroom was clean, and the closet was stripped down to shelves and hampers. All that was left was her memory.

He bit his lip to maybe help ease the pain in his chest, as he heaved multiple breaths to keep himself from tears. He messed up.

He really messed up.

He looked around.

His phone.

He could call her and talk to her!

He grabbed his phone and dialed her number. The only answer he got was voicemail. He tried at least 10 more times until he threw his phone onto the ground.

What the hell was he going to do now? His whole world was ruined.

He decided to go back to her old apartment to talk to her. Maybe tell her how he was feeling at the moment and how sorry he was. He planned to marry this girl, not leave her.

And so he headed for his car. Jenna followed close behind wondering where he was going.

"Where are you going?" She asked as Tyler shut the drivers door.

He rolled the window down. "I'm going to get my girlfriend back."

"Why?" Jenna asked snappily.

"Because I love her." With that he left the driveway. He didn't forget to show her his finger though. She deserved it.

Yeah, he was mad at Jenna.  Y/n had only been gone for maybe 30 minutes and he already saw Jenna's true colors.

The apartment building wasn't far, so it didn't take long for Tyler to be running across the hall to her door, well her friend's door.

He knocked 3 times, his nerves jumping all over the place. The door opened, and her friend's face scrunched in disgust.

"Can I help you?" She asked snappily.

"I need to speak to y/n." He replied, and her friend scoffed.

"She's not here."

"I know for a fact she is, now can I please speak to her." Tyler looked behind her shoulder. "Y/n please I'm sorry, just I need to tal-"

"Go away. She doesn't want to speak to you. Just give up." And with that she shut the door.

Tyler stared at the red door for a few minutes. Maybe it would open back up and it would be y/n's beautiful face.

Her beautiful face that he grown to love and kiss and admire. Maybe he would be able to kiss her again, and hold her to his chest. Maybe they would actually be able to pass that one stage they couldn't seem to have time to get to.

All he wanted was her soft touch and sweet words. Her voice was like honey, and the way she said his name made him wild.

Would he never be able to hear her speak his name again?

He hung his head low as he walked through the doors of the apartment building and into his car.

His chest ached, and his body felt slow. All he felt was regret, guilt and sorrow.

Tyler never heard his name slip y/n's lips again. He couldn't. He never saw her face again either.
