"Don't you think it's odd that he lives with a girl roommate though?" Y/N's friend asked as she picked up another slice of pizza.

"I don't know. He swears they are just roommates until she can find her own place, or vice versa. And I trust him." Y/n shrugged her shoulders, ignoring that feeling in the pit of her stomach gnawing at her insides.

Her friend, and also roommate, hung her work satchel around her chair as she proceeded to scoot herself into the dining chair.

"Yeah, but don't you think it's a little awkward for you to just move in?" She questioned further. Y/n rolled her eyes.

"He is the one who asked me, and besides wouldn't that be better? That's just a sign that he isn't sneaking behind my back with that bi— roommate of his." She caught herself. She didn't want everyone to know she secretly hated his roommate. She was terrible to her.

Her friend furrowed her eyebrows. "What about space? Isn't the apartment small?"

Y/n chuckled before looking down hiding a blush. "We've decided to start sleeping in the same bed together and ease our way up to that stage of the relationship." A small smile took her face. "We haven't done anything yet but we decided that if it happens then it happens."

Her roommate scrunched her nose up shaking her head. "Yeah, with his girl roommate in the other room? Good luck with that."

"It's fine! It'll be fine." She tried to convince her friend, but also herself.

Her friend nodded, shrugging her shoulders and then opening her satchel. "I guess you're right. You get to keep an eye on them too."

Y/n sighed as she sat down across from her friend. "Yeah, not that they are doing anything anyways." She mumbled. Again, fear struck her insides, but she blew it out with a sigh.

"I'm still gonna miss ya, girlie." Her friend smiled as she softly pinched y/n's elbow. Y/n giggled, and rubbed her elbow.

"I'm going to miss you too." There was a small, peaceful, pause in the conversation, giving y/n the opportunity to ask an important question. "Will you help me move my stuff to his place? Ty said he would help but then got busy because he had to go to the venue early for tonight's show." She explained, and her friend nodded without hesitation.

"Sure thing. I'd like to meet this roommate of his anyways." She rolled her eyes. She was always protective over y/n.

Y/N's knuckles knocked on the apartment door repeatedly, until she heard the lock on the other side being messed with.

Y/n looked back at her brunette friend before the door swung open. Her eyes met with the ocean blue ones.

The girl squealed a 'hello,' before ushering them in. Y/n couldn't help but notice, and be bothered, by the fact she was in a long sweatshirt that went down mid thigh. She had no shorts on, just some panties, and her blonde hair was in a messy bun. Isn't that the typical 'I'm waiting for my boyfriend to get home' look? Y/n shook it off, she was thinking to much.

"You must be Ty's girlfriend!" She cheered, shaking her hand. "I'm jenna."

"Y/n." She replied, before setting down her bag wrapped around her shoulder. The brunette beside her dropped the other bags she carried in.

"You must be Tyler's roommate?" She asked, and Jenna nodded her head. "Yes, and that's all you are right? No nighttime Funtime?" She asked, and Jenna's eyes went wide.

"Oh, no." She shook her head, laughing it off a little bit. Her cheeks got red, and y/n slapped her friend's shoulder.

"Where do I put my things?" Y/n asked, and Jenna thought for a moment.

"I guess upstairs in Tyler's room." She shrugged.

Y/n nodded, and passed her.

Yeah, she was giggly and girly at the moment but once they were alone, she'd start to brag about how great of a guy Tyler is to try and make y/n jealous. She wasn't the nicest at all.

Y/n knew where Tyler's room was. She's been there before.

"Do you need help unpacking?" Y/n's friend asked softly, placing her suitcases down beside the bed.

"No, I'malright." She replied, shaking her head.

She didn't plan on unpacking just yet. She had to get ready for the concert that was tonight, and also wanted to know Tyler's opinion on where she should put her clothes; The closet or the drawer. She also wanted to spend time with Tyler, and unpacking her things seemed like a good quality time activity.

After her best friend left she began to work on her outfit for tonight. She already liked the Twenty One Pilots shirt she was wearing, that Tyler gave her, and black ripped jeans, so all she really had to do was her hair and makeup. She curled her hair, and put a small bobby-pin in it to hold it out of her face.

She began to work on her eyeliner when a knock tapped the door. She looked up, knowing that it had to be Jenna. She sighed, and said "come in!"

Jenna slipped into the bedroom before turning into the bathroom to see y/n working hard on her eyeliner.

"Oh, yes, Tyler loves eyeliner! It always drives him crazy." Jenna used her hands as an exaggeration, her eyes lighting up as she said his name.

"Mhmm." Y/n hummed in acknowledgment, but wouldn't dare give Jenna the satisfaction she wanted. She continued to work on her eyeliner, she was so close to finished when—

BAM

Y/n jumped, and the eyeliner smeared across her eye. "Damn it." She mumbled. She turned to see a sorry looking Jenna and a picture fallen from the wall.

"I'm so sorry! I really didn't mean to do that." Jenna apologized, shaking her head. she picked up the picture. It wasn't one of those picture frames where there was glass; just a canvas with the words 'Brush your Teeth and Wash your Feet.' painted on it.

Y/n sighed. "Jenna, would you leave my bathroom, please?" She emphasized 'my', knowing that it would bother Jenna.

Y/n wasn't one to mess with. Even bullies, when she was still in highschool, would leave her alone because they got bored. She didn't give them any of the satisfaction they wanted, so they moved on to more coward like kids. That's one thing Tyler admired about her; She was fearless and wouldn't believe shit from anybody.

Jenna only smiled a fake one. "Of course, you're right you should focus, and fix that... problem on your face. I'll go get ready." And then she left.

"'Fix that problem on your face' mehmehmehh." Y/n mocked annoyed, as she opened her makeup remover roughly.

The show was amazing. Even though there wasn't to many people, it was still a high energy show that y/n would pay millions to see. It made her heart soar to see Tyler so happy and free living.

As the cheers of the 50 people at the show bellowed across the small venue, y/n felt strong wet arms wrap around her waist from behind. A loud groan escaped the culprit's lips as he lifted her feet off the ground. Y/n squealed, as the butterflies flew around in her stomach. He then placed her down, leaning down to place his head on her shoulder, chastely kissing her neck softly. "Hey, darling." He mumbled, and y/n hummed in happiness.

"You did amazing, Ty." She complimented, reaching up to run her fingers through his hair. Once the tips of her fingers touched his wet sweaty hair she retaliated, pulling herself from him. A small pout rested on Tyler's face, "Go get a shower, Tyler. And then we can talk all you want."

She gently pushed his chest, and he cocked his head as he looked at her. His eyes were full of admiration, before he skipped off to the dressing room to shower.

Y/n followed slowly, occasionally being stopped by a cast member to say hey. She ended up talking to Mark for at least 30 minutes.

Once she made it to the dressing room, Jenna and Tyler were already on the couch talking. Y/n stood there silently, waiting for Tyler to tilt his head and acknowledge her. He didn't. His head was looking at the floor as Jenna talked his ear off about whatever she was talking about.

Y/n decided to creep to the side table to get a small tomato from the vegetable platter they had displayed.

That's when Tyler finally looked up, his eyes lit up at the sight of her. "You found the tomatoes." He chuckled, and Jenna stopped talking now realizing he wasn't actually listening. She rolled her eyes and leaned back in her seat.

"Yep." Y/n mumbled, stuffing her face with more tomatoes.

Tyler reaches his arms out, inviting her to sit on his lap.

She did so, and he leaned his head on her chest, holding her close to him. "Did you get all your things to my place?" He mumbled quietly, staring out at the wall in front of him.

"Yes, I did." She answered, running her hand through Tyler's wet, but now clean, hair. He let out a breath of satisfaction as he closed his eyes, a small smile teasing his lips from the touch. He purred like a kitten, which made her let out a breathy laugh.

"First night together." He muttered. Every word that came out of his mouth got more slurred than the last, he was falling asleep. But he still spoke. "M'excited."

Y/n stayed silent, as she grazed her fingers through his hair. She felt his body relax, and his grip on her waist loosen. She just sunk further into his lap, and got herself comfortable.

"You know he's going to have to come home right?" Jenna asked, and y/n nodded.

"I know, but he needs this." She smiled softly.

The bathroom door swung open, the back hitting the wall making a loud bang noise. Tyler jumped, his eyes going wide, and his grip tightening on y/n's waist, until relaxing at the sight of Josh.

"I'm starving!" He said, his thin t-shirt damp from the shower water.

"Dude, you didn't dry off!" Tyler disciplined teasingly. Josh chuckled, and shook his head.

"What are you like Santa clause now?" He asked, gesturing to y/n on his lap.

Y/n slowly got to her feet, shaking her head. "I wish." She scoffed teasingly.

"What did you ask for? Huh?" He wiggled his eyebrows, and y/n slapped his shoulder.

"I'm ready to go home, Ty." Jenna whined, leaning her head back against the couch.

Tyler turned to her, his eyebrows raising at the sleepy girl. "Okay. We can go home." He replied softly.

Y/n cringed, but tried to conceal it. "What about dinner?" Josh complained, and Tyler shook his head.

"It's fine, Josh. Maybe next time."

Y/n sighed, looking down and rolling her eyes. They could have just gone without Jenna. Why does she have to go?

Tyler began grabbing things around the dressing room, stuffing them lazily into a duffel bag. "We're allowed to get the rest tomorrow, so maybe we can plan to go to lunch." He suggested and Josh nodded, a content smile on his face.

Y/n helped around the dressing room, getting it semi-clean so they didn't need to do much tomorrow. Jenna just sat there watching. Y/n wondered if Tyler noticed her inability to be productive.

Once they put everything in the car they were on their way home. Tyler is the driver's, y/n in the passenger's, and Jenna in the back, seat.

Tyler reaches over and massaged y/n's knee. "We're going to our place." He smiled at the words coming from his mouth.

Y/n mustered a small smile, nodding. She couldn't help but realize that it was also Jenna's place. Jenna. Another woman.

Once they arrived, they didn't bother unpacking the trunk. There wasn't much and they could do it tomorrow. It was 11:34 PM.

Jenna was the first one into her bedroom, shutting her door and locking it. Y/n smiled. Finally some alone time.

She waited patiently for Tyler to finish brushing his teeth. She wanted to talk to him about Jenna. She knew it was probably selfish to want her gone, but she couldn't help but want her gone.

Tyler tiredly stumbled to the bed, pulling the covers away and opening his arms up for

y/n. She accepted the invite, cozying into his side.

"We're sleeping together right now." Tyler said. He let out a snort of laughter. Y/n's lips widened into a grin, as she slapped his chest gently.

"Shut up." She giggled. He kissed her on the top of her head.

It was silent for a moment, it would've been a good silent if y/n wasn't a nervous wreck about explaining the situation to Tyler. She sat up, finding Tyler's eyes closed, but she could tell by his face he wasn't asleep just yet.

"Can we talk?" Y/n muttered quietly, and Tyler furrowed his eyebrows, his eyes still closed.

"About what?" He asked, and y/n sighed.

"About Jenna."

Tyler opened his eyes, sending a questionable glance to y/n. "What about her?"

"Like," She began, looking down. "I don't know.  When do you think she'll move? We've moved in together and I feel like we should be able to have alone time." She explained, and Tyler sighed.

"I don't know. She lived here first, if anything it would be us who has to move and you know I don't have the money for that right now."

Y/n looked down at the sheets, fiddling with them. The next few words weren't easy to say because she knew Tyler would probably take them the wrong way. "Then why did we move in together? If we can't be alone?"

Tyler's face changed from soft to confused. "We're alone right now. Isn't that enough?"

"No." Y/n answered immediately, shaking her head vigorously. "It isn't normal, and definitely isn't right to have a female roommate when you're straight, unless if they are your girlfriend."

"Oh, so this isn't just about us being alone is it? It's about her being my roommate?" He suddenly got defensive. "I've already told you a thousand times, y/n. We are not dating! I am dating you for Christ's sake." He flung his arms into the air, getting himself up from his comfortable position, and sitting with his back leaned against the headboard.

"I- I know that. But you don't understand how she is!" She argued, flinging her arms up. "She's always bragging to me about how great you are, and about what you like and how you are!"

"Thats because she knows me, y/n! That doesn't mean anything! Stop being so fucking jealous!" He shouted. Y/n's eyes went wide as the curse escaped his lips. That escalated quicker than she thought it would. He never cursed unless if he was mad.

Her eyes filled with tears, and it took all her strength to hold them back. A hurt expression crossed her face, and she got up from her place on the bed and sat at the foot of it so tyler wouldn't see her crying.

Tyler was silent, not a single thing could be heard except for y/n's short breaths in attempt to keep the tears back. She would not cry in front of him.

The bed creaked as Tyler's weight moved from one side to the other. A soft hand was placed on y/n's shoulder. "I'm sorry." He said gently. His voice was soft and quiet. A drastic change from how it was just seconds ago.

Y/n gulped, getting enough courage to speak. "I just don't want to lose you. I can't lose you." She shook her head, the tears now finally escaping her eyes and dripping down her cheek. She constantly wiped them. "She doesn't like me, because she likes you. And I don't want to f-fucking lose you." She choked out. She curled her legs to her chest, leaning her forehead down on her knees.

Tyler sighed, wrapping his arms  around her and pulling her into his side. "I didn't mean to make you cry." He mumbled. His tone was full of pain, and sorrow all in one. He kissed the top of her head, as she took a few shaky breaths trying to calm herself down. "You won't lose me." He attempted to calm her.

He didn't really agree with what y/n was saying; he knew for a fact, or at least in his mind, that Jenna was just being a friend. He had never saw her as anything more, and he was sure Jenna felt the same way he did.

He still continued to comfort y/n. He didn't want to fight with her, especially not on their first day together in the same home.

Definitely not what he imagined it would be like.
