1. First Red Bull
"Ready for your first Red Bull ever?" Tyler asked as he popped the can's lid open.
"I guess so." You shrugged indifferently, and Tyler took a small sip from the can. Your eyes widened in disgust. "Tyler, ew! Germs!" You exclaimed.
"Oh come on. You know we've kissed with tongue before, don't overreact." Tyler said, rolling his eyes. You chuckled slightly, knowing he was right.
Hesitantly, you brought it to your nose to smell it. Your immediate thought was it smelled like Tyler.
You brought the can down to your lips and took a few slow, cautious sips.
"Well?" He asked expectantly, you pressed your lips together, like a dramatized version of you tasting it, followed by a bright smile.
"It tastes like you." You snorted, now starting to laugh at how bizarre that sounded. Tyler snatched the Red Bull from your hands, drinking it must faster than you had.
"Well," he said, smirking. "Then I guess we should keep this away from you. It could be dangerous."

2. Spin the bottle
"Wait wait wait, I'm confused. We're not like, actually playing spin the bottle, are we?" Tyler asked, a hint of fear evident in his voice.
"What, are you chicken? Dude, half of these people are girls; who knows, maybe you'll get lucky." Brendon replied. All of the girls playing rolled their eyes. All except one. Y/N was sitting opposite of Tyler, and, if she was being honest, kissing him didn't sound all that bad.
Jøsh nudged Tyler's arm. "You have to go first since you complained."
Tyler only sighed in response.
Tyler took the neck of the bottle and thrust it, making it spin on the smooth, wooden floor. There it spun for a good ten seconds, causing everyone in the room to hold their breath in anticipation.
It then landed pointing across from Tyler, directly at Y/N. She tried her best to hide her blush and just smile, while Tyler's eyes widened and his face went red with embarrassment.
"Go on Tyler!" Brendon teases. "Give Y/N a big, wet kiss!"
Ignoring Brendon's remarks, Tyler anxiously moved towards Y/N. Their eyes locked as she nodded, signaling that it was okay for him to do this.
He then leaned forward gently placed his soft lips on hers. Tyler was instantly lost in the pure bliss he felt. He could feel Y/N put her fingertips to his face, moving him closer to deepen the kiss. That was when Jøsh clapped the pair back to reality.
"Yo, not on my floor." He called out, acting disgusted. "There's a room upstairs for that, gosh." He rolled his eyes, and Tyler walked back to his seat. He was well aware of the shade of pink covering his cheeks and the fact Y/N's nervous smile never left her face.

3. The Promise.
Tyler tried his best to make himself look presentable. It wasn't easy either, due to the fact that he was about to meet his girlfriend, Y/N's, parents. They also weren't like any other parents, especially Tyler's. They were rich, and, unfortunately, the type of rich that didn't much enjoy the company of people who weren't. Tyler, to say the least, wasn't, but Y/N had never cared. That was one of the infinite reasons why he loved her.
Y/N let him borrow one of her brother's suits, seeing that he didn't own one himself. She had claimed her brother had moved off to college not to long ago, and while Tyler knew this was true, he also suspected Y/N wanted to make sure her parents had nothing about Tyler to critique.
So that left Tyler standing in the mirror on the brink of a panic attack, trying to straighten his tie.
Finally, Tyler deemed his hair and suit acceptable. Making sure he hadn't overdone his cologne, he left the quiet apartment and headed to Y/N's house.
When he arrived, it took every bone in his body not to run away and never look back. And then it took everything else in his body to knock on the bright white front door. Tyler hadn't even met Y/N's parents and already he was exhausted.
The front door creaked open. Standing there with bright eyes was a woman who resembled an older version of Y/N. "You must be Tyler!" Y/N's mother exclaimed cheerily. It was to the point where Tyler was fairly certain she was faking it, but he decided not to dwell on it as he was led inside.
Tyler stepped in the home and was immediately greeted by the family's obvious wealth. Every piece of furniture was beautifully made, every corner spotless, and the house in general was expertly designed. It surprised him that someone like Y/N, who never spoke of money, was raised here.
"Thank you ma'am." Tyler managed to say as Y/N's mother showed him through the house. While her head was turned, he quickly wiped his sweaty palms on his pants. "I'm, may I ask where Y/N is?"
Her mother smiled "she's just upstairs, I'm sure she's almost done getting ready. I told her to make herself look nice." It took every bit of willpower Tyler had to not cringe at the somewhat passive-aggressive tone of her voice.
"She didn't need to do that, ma'am. She always looks beautiful." Tyler responded.
"Oh, of course you'd say that." Spat a man's voice from the doorway of the kitchen. Tyler spun around to meet the state of who he assumed was Y/N's father. Dislike shone in the man's eyes, and Tyler couldn't bring himself to make eye contact with this intimidating man.
"ignore him, honey." Came the sweet voice of Y/N's mother. "Come, sit here in the dining room." She placed a hand on Tyler's back and led him through two more rooms before reaching the dining room. As Tyler tentatively sat down, she called from up a staircase. "Y/N! Tyler's here, sweetheart!"
A loud *thump* came from upstairs, followed by a groan, and the sound of heels clicking down the stairs.
"Tyler!" Y/N exclaimed excitedly. She wrapped Tyler in a tight embrace as his eyes lit up at the sight of her. A smile quickly formed on his face; she was beautiful, he couldn't help but gaze in awe at her figure.
"You look gorgeous." Tyler complimented again, causing Y/N to smile and blush. Her father, however, scoffed in the background, and Tyler turned his attention to the intricately designed dining table.
Y/N took a seat beside Tyler, while her mother returned to the kitchen. Her father was shooting Tyler a death glare, and it was all he could do not to shrink away.
"I almost fell down the stairs coming down here because of these stupid heels I have to wear." Y/N whispered in Tyler's ear. He chuckled. "Thank god I didn't, right?"
"What's so funny?" The father asked sharply. Y/N hastily shook her head, wanting him to stop.
Tyler's mouth twitched. "She was just telling me how she almost fell down the stairs because of her heels, sir." He said politely. But it soon was obvious Tyler's word choice hasn't helped his situation.
"You think that's funny?" Y/N's father growled.
"Dad! calm down! It was supposed to be funny!" Y/N hissed.
Before her father could make a snappy remark, Y/N's mother quickly came into the dining room once more. "Dinner!" She sang cheerfully. Steaming hot plates were placed on the table as the food's aroma wafted in.
As the four of them began to eat their meal, Y/N's father began interrogating Tyler once more. "So, what makes someone such as yourself want to date my daughter?"
Tyler gulped. "Well," he began nervously, "she understands me like nobody else, and she has the most beautiful personality." Y/N beamed back at him.
"Mhm." Her father skeptically said. "And I presume you'll be able to support her and yourself in the future?"
"Support? Like supporting her decisions?" Tyler asked obliviously.
"No!" Came an aggressive voice of the father. "I mean, can you financially support the pair of you?" He clarified. At this, Tyler looked at Y/N, unsure of how to respond. All she could offer was one of her reassuring smiles, and he looked back at the intimidating man staring him down.
"No, sir." He replied, a bit more shaky and quiet than he had intended. He began self-consciously toying with the hem of his suit-jacket.
"You don't?" Y/N's father almost sounded triumphant, like he had been hoping this response from Tyler. "Well then, I'm not quite so sure i approve of you dating my lovely daughter," he said, leaning back slightly in his chair.
"Richard!" Y/N's mother warned. Their daughter's eyes began to fill with fear.
"Dad!" She exclaimed. "You can't do that! You don't know how much I love Tyler!"
"He does not have what you need, young lady! You need a boyfriend who can protect and support you." Richard's attention was then pulled to Tyler. "I appreciate your honesty, boy, and thank you for giving Y/N an experience. However, I will not allow her to come near her again."
Tyler could feel his breathing become shallower as he tried to comprehend what was being said. A small voice inside of him wandered if Y/N's father was right. What was he doing, thinking he could provide for a girl as perfect as her? He would never have the power or money to do that. Yet there was another voice inside him, one that knew he would never stop loving Y/N, and that knew he would sacrifice anything and everything, just for her.
"Dad, please!" Y/N argued desperately. "He and I can both work!I'll find a well-paying job, and we can provide for ourselves." Tears began to fill her eyes.
Richard's face grew a distorted shade of red. "I woman should not have to work!" He practically yelled. He slammed his fist on the table in emphasis, making everybody jump. Tyler decided he had enough and stood up.
"Sir, I know I don't have much money now. I know you don't trust me, nor do you think I deserve your daughter. But I can assure you with all my heart, Y/N will always be safe in my hands, and I will never let anything hurt her. She means the world to me; what's the point if she isn't secure? I will work for her day and night. Even if you don't see my worth now... well, sir, I don't know what to tell you. But I promise, one day I'll prove you wrong. I'll prove how much I love
Y/N."
The years passing after that night were by no means easy. There was quite a bit of Tyler and Y/N sneaking by her parents, there were a lot of late-night phone calls and fights, but Tyler stayed true to his word: he never, ever stopped loving her. And when Tyler finally made it big in the music industry? Well, he never quite forgot the look on Y/N's father's face.
