It's your first day of school. Your dad, Tyler, has brought you. You're really nervous, and you can tell so is your dad.
"I don't wanna go." You whined, and Tyler squatted down and brushed a piece of your hair from your face.
"It's alright sweetheart. I'll be back at 12:00." He said comfortingly. His golden brown eyes and reassuring smile made you feel better. Your dad always made you feel safe and you trusted him.
"Can you stay with me for a little bit?" You asked, and Tyler stood up and grabbed your small hand.
"Of course." He smiled, and you both entered the small colorful classroom.

"How was Y/N? Did she cry?" Jenna asked Tyler when she arrived home from the grocery store. Tyler turned his head to look at his amazing wife.
"She did great, she didn't cry or anything. I had to stay for an extra 20 minutes though." He replied.
"Oh, well I'm glad she didn't give you trouble." Jenna sat on the couch beside Tyler and leaned her head on his shoulder.
"She's growing up so fast." Tyler mumbled.
"I know, soon she'll be in college." Jenna giggled and Tyler groaned. "And getting married-"
"Okay, okay. Not until she's 40." Tyler said seriously. Jenna laughed. "I'm not joking! Men are animals."
This made Jenna laugh even harder, and soon Tyler couldn't help but join in on the contagious laugh.

10 years later you're 16
"Mom!" You yelled downstairs.
Jenna was making dinner in the kitchen.
"Don't scream through the house!" She replied.
You scoffed and rolled your eyes. You got up from your place in your room and headed downstairs.
"Better?" You snapped sarcastically.
"Watch your tone." Tyler said monotone, while sipping his coffee and working on a song on his laptop.
"What did you need sweetie?" Jenna glanced over at her daughter, but quickly went back to cooking dinner.
"Joey invited me to a party." You said, as you started to reply to some texts.
Tyler looked up, now interested in the conversation.
"When is it?" Jenna asked, and Tyler furrowed his eyebrows confused.
"Woah, wait who's joey?" He asked.
"It's her friend." Jenna explained.
"It's from 9:00 to 11:00 tonight." You replied, and Tyler scoffed.
"So a boyfriend of yours is inviting you to party?" He asked.
"He's not my boyfriend, dad." You tap your foot impatiently.
"Oh well then that totally makes it okay to go to a party with the guy." Tyler said sarcastically.
"Calm down, love." Jenna said, as she put the used pot in the sink and turning around to face her daughter. "I don't think it's wise to go out tonight. Maybe another time okay?"
"Ugh, but I already told him I could!" You whined.
"Wait he has your number?" Tyler asked, now standing up and walking over to you.
"Yeah, chill. I've had his number for about 3 months now." You replied, and Tyler snatched your phone to look at the texts. "Dad!"
"Nu-uh!" He said. He put up his hand, and twisted himself around so you couldn't snatch it back.
You let out a long loud sigh of frustration, as Tyler scrolled through your texts with Joey.
Joey: party tonight at 9-11. Tons of drinks and tons of dancing.
You: sounds like a party, but you know I don't drink. Might come and watch you get drunk off your ass though.
Joey: Yeah, there's going to be beer and your stupid-ass dad's red bull.
"He seems like a dick." Tyler said, as he shuts the phone and gives it back to you.
"Tyler!" Jenna scolded him for cussing. Tyler looks over at his wife.
"What he does!" He said.
"I'm fucking done." You lashed out in anger
"Language!" Both Tyler and Jenna said in unison. You rolled your eyes, and ran upstairs.
"No, Y/N get down here dinner is ready." Jenna said, and you let out a groan.
"I'm not hungry!" You said.
"Don't care." Tyler said blankly, as he took out some plates to set the table. "Come help your mother set the table up."
"I hate you." You mumbled.
"So I've heard." Tyler rolled his eyes.
