99 - A Funeral

Poems for Good Measure72 words~1 min read

A weeping bouquet of pitch black umbrellas

Cast a pale shade upon her final resting place

Tears fall from grace as I felt her soul's warm embrace

At the funeral of my dear Cinderella

.

As the rain try to wash away the memories

Of love blossomed near the field of pink cherry trees

With only pictures of her I'm left to cherish

My world has ended long before I would perish
