As we stroll down holding hands the last time I checked

Saw your shadow tying a noose around my neck

It's a drag to love someone against your wishes

Watch the days dying left me out cold as fishes

.

Sworn to obey those who treat love as bait or trade

Thus born a charade disguised as wedding parade

Now you know why my heart is warm as an igloo

Arranged love fixed to be flushed gently down the loo
