Anniella's POV
I beamed the moment I woke up from bed , the events of yesterday replaying in my head. Finally Andre and I are dating. I wouldn't have believed it if someone told me, I'll be a girlfriend this very year. I was determined to wait till after graduation and here I am now , head over heels in love with one dashing French man.
Andre really made my night singing perfect, the lyrics kinda seem like our lives where Andre has found me.
I had gotten out of bed very early even though I woke up late. I'm currently sitting at my study table , revising for my exams after Christmas break, how annoying . Celebrating Christmas and being in the mood only for you to go back to school and write exams.
My door squeaked open revealing a grinning El in basketball shirts and hoodie with phone in hand , "Ann you gotta see this." She hurried and sat on my bed not before pulling me on the bed too , "see this!"
What's all this exciting about? I took the phone from her hands and looked at whatever has gotten her in this mood. It was a post by Andre, a picture of me I didn't know he took.
He had posted it on Instagram with a French caption which I have no idea of , knowing Drey it'll be something sweet.
There were so many comments from people who were glad Andre was back on the gram and others who were surprised he's posted my picture since he's never posted his girl or fling or whatever you can think of aside his sister on his page before.
Others too were gushing over the caption saying it's so sweet , so romantic yeah you know it.
And you know we can't live in a world without those who can't resist throwing shade when there's so much happiness around. They were saying it's gonna end in tears like most celebrity relationships do.
I face palmed , "why can some people be so mean and hateful ?"
El grimaced and rolled her eyes , "haters will always hate , they're only jealous Andre has found someone who is not them , don't let them get to you ."
"Yeah you're right." I agreed with El on that, Andre is a top notch personality who's very handsome, most girls will love to be in my place right now , I'm not letting it get into my head , I'm only stating facts.
"So how was it." El wiggled her brows at me, excited in knowing what happened.
"So you tell Chloe for you two to tease me forever? No thank you."
"Awww pleeeeeaaaasssseeeeee." She screeched in my ears giving me her best puppy eyes. She's being loud as if she wasn't part of the planning.
I resisted the urge to laugh seeing her give me puppy eyes , "you should know since you were part of the planning."
"I wouldn't have asked if I knew Ann, spill it!"
I raised my hands in surrender and got off the bed suiting back on my study seat , El would definitely pinch my cheeks telling me I told you so, I'm not going to take that risk. "It was amazing, one of the best nights of my life , Andre confessed his love for me, we shared saliva under a mistletoe bough and had a good time in the sea and on the sand , happy ?"
El sat there all this while in concentration, breaking into a huge smile when I was done and came closer to me , "I told you so! I told you ,you two can't front in front of me , I knew you loved each other and here you are being the official girlfriend of one of New York's most smashing CEOs!" She squealed and pinched my cheeks.
Oh so I was right and wrong, I should haven't forgotten she was in the room and would get up to pinch my cheeks, "ouch El." I yelped laughing.
"It's joy Ann, how do you feel ? Excited, happy, relieved?"
"I'm very happy yet our story just began,there's no fairytale in real life, just look at those hateful comments, I'm not giving my attention to them though but there are people like that out there who won't just comment , they'll work to tear us apart , the real fight is here , imma love and trust him no matter what so this love and relation will be stronger and more established."
She clapped her hand, "that's the spirit! Andre is a good guy , we all have our skeletons in our cupboard yeah but trust me he's a very good guy keep him very well!" She wiped fake tears, "and you my baby girl, you so grown giving this speech , I'm so proud of you."
"El you're such a drama queen , get the heck out of my room and lemme study in peace!" I shooed her out of my room laughing, "go tell Chloe, I know you're itching to tell her,bye!!"
I closed the door and went back to my study table , going through my notes and books , absorbing them in my memory. My phone rang causing me to pause the learning and pick it up.
"Hey Good morning boo."
"Good morning beautiful, how you feeling ?" His happy voice yet raspy sounded over the phone.
"I'm good you ? Did you just wake up ?"
"I'm good too and yeah, I completely passed out when I got into bed. I slept like a baby knowing I have the love of my life."
"Aww boo stop!"
"Allow me love, I didn't know what I was missing out."
"Lmao so what are you gonna do today?"
"I'm gonna head to my parents, I'm gonna tell my mother the news, why, do you miss me already?"
"I'm your dreams Drey, I'm studying the whole of today for exams after the break."
"Oh okay , I won't bar you from studying , you can text me when you're done or free alright?"
"Sure boo, I love you!"
"I love you more." He made kissy sounds into the phone. I laughed and hanged up doing back to study, I've got people to make proud.
When I finished studying, I took my phone from the table, texting Drey and Nessa. My stomach rumbled , I had apple pie and juice for breakfast. I left my room to the kitchen and met Carmen behind the gas cooker, preparing something I have no idea of but smells nice.
I looked into the mixture on fire, it's ground beef, cubes steak, vegetables and macaroni cooked together,it kinda looks familiar, "what's on fire ?"
"American goulash, it's almost ready. Are you hungry?"
"Yes!" El came into the kitchen rubbing her stomach and answered, "I'm so famished Carmen."
Carmen stirred what was on fire adding a pinch of salt and tasted it, "Didn't you two eat breakfast?"
"We did." We chorused and sat at the island. I took out my phone and replied Nessa's text and stuffed it back into my tracksuit pant pocket, "I'll eat over here Carmen."
"Okay dear , I guess Elisa too will right?"She turned off the cooker, took out plates and dished the food.
"Yes Ma." El got up from her seat and opened the refrigerator pouring herself juice, "want some?"
"Nope I'll pass." My food was placed in front of me by a smiling Carmen, "Thank you."
She nodded and placed El's in front of her too.
We ate our food amidst conversations, talking mostly about tv shows and celebrities. El adored Dave East and I adore Roddy Rich. We sang our favorite songs and played would you rather. Our lunch kinda turned into sister bonding shit.
El's phone beeped with a message, she opened it and replied, turning to look around for something before her eyes landed on my phone, "your Prince Charming wants to know why he's not able to reach you."
I turn the screen on but was blank, I sighed, "tell him my battery is dead, I'll text him soonest."
She went back to typing, "he said he has something important to tell you, so you should charge it or take mine."
"I'll go charge it and text him, I don't want Darrel down my throat ." I chuckled standing up to leave, El was blushing at the mention of Darrel's name.
I entered my room and put my phone on charge, it turned on automatically. I sent an instant reply to Andre.

I set my phone aside and went to the bathroom to pee, coming back I was met with lots of heart texts from Drey. I replied him back and the convo flowed , he made me laugh so hard with his jokes and we switched from texting to FaceTime.
He came into view lying on his bed shirtless, his skin glowing. He beamed at me when he caught me staring at his chest , winking and teasing me, "want a strip tease or this will do?"
"Shut up Drey, I don't even wanna see your neck." Lies I was so flushed, Drey is too much.
"That's not what it looks like now and on Thanksgiving, caught you checking me out babe."
Huh he really did see ? He was looking dashing that night and who I'm I not to check him out.
"I caught you checking me out too Drey, your eyes never leaving mine."
"You looked what should I say ? Ravishing and pretty in your outfit, a beautifully and wonderfully made goddess was right before my eyes and you did want me to look? Babe you're no fun." He rolled his eyes, shaking his head and then chuckling.
I did chuckle too, men will always be men. Hours flew by with us still talking. It felt like a short time when Andre had to go take his bath and meet up with a client. He didn't want to leave, I had to coax into going in exchange for a saliva sharing moment when we meet.
I got off the phone and took my bath too. I wore an onesie and went back to studying not before going to the kitchen for cookies and tea in case I was hungry.
El came into my room with her books to study with me. We ordered pizza after finishing the cookies . It was nice studying with her, we asked ourselves questions based on what we've learnt. Our fields of studies are different though , we had textbooks in hand for the answer so it was a lot easier.
We started dozing off around 10pm. El was the first, she refused to go back to her room and after a lot of failed attempts to carry her, I dragged her onto my bed and sent a goodnight text to Drey. He replied instantly telling me to dream about him.
