"What are you doing?" she asked, her voice playful but breathless.
Vedang smiled, his eyes locking with hers. âWhat I should be doing before I have to let you go,â he said, his tone low and teasing.
She was used to his flirty lines by now, but every time he said something like that, it made her heart flutter.
It was the kind of thing that caught her off guard, especially because he wasnât like this with anyone else.
Knowing how quiet and guarded he usually was only made her feel more special.
Iraa blushed, her cheeks turning even redder, if that was possible.
âYou know, hum kuch aur ghanto ke liye saath hi rehne wale hai. Itâs a long journey,â she whispered softly, her eyes twinkling.
âI know, but they are going to be there too, na? I shouldâve just come up with some excuse and booked us two separate tickets or something,â he muttered, grumpy as ever.
Iraa burst out laughing at his ridiculous idea. âAcha ji,â she teased, her eyes glinting with amusement.
âDonât smile at me like that,â Vedang whispered, his voice dropping an octave.
âWhy not?â she whispered back, her tone just as teasing.
âYou make me feel strong, yet so weak for you, Miss Singhania,â
he admitted, his voice full of sincerity, his eyes sparkling with a vulnerability he didnât show often.

Without thinking, she raised her hand and gently touched his cheek.
"Will you bend down a little?" she asked softly, her voice suddenly little serious.
Vedang, without any hesitation, bent down.
He didn't know what she was about to do, but with Iraa, he had learned to trust her without question.
Slowly, Iraa leaned in and pressed a lingering kiss to his forehead, her lips staying there for longer than necessary.
For the first time, Vedang felt his heart melt.
That small gesture, so full of tenderness, made him feel everything at once.
When she pulled away, he looked at her with the softest expression, his brown eyes full of warmth.
Iraa smiled, her dimple appearing once again.
"Hope you understand how I feel about you, pretty boy," she teased lightly, brushing her thumb across his cheek.
Vedang laughed softly.
"What you do to me, Miss Singhania... itâs not something to understand. Itâs something to feel."
Iraa smiled, biting her lower lip, a playful glint in her eyes. âSo, did you feel it or not?â
Vedangâs eyes twinkled as he raised an eyebrow. âMore than enough,â he said, pulling her closer for another hug.
âVedang..." Iraa called him, still hugging him.
âHmm?â he asked, pulling back slightly.
Iraa took a deep breath, cupping his cheeks and touching her forehead to hers.
"Just promise me one thing,â she said, suddenly serious.
âWhatâs that?â he asked, curious.
âPromise you wonât forget this moment, no matter what happens next.â
Vedang nodded, feeling a flutter in his chest. âI promise. This is our moment, Iraa. I wonât forget. Itâs impossible.â
She hummed and closed her eyes. "Ready to go back to our lives?" he whispered.
âMore than anything,â she replied, connecting her lips to his... it was a peck.
Vedang gave her one last forehead kiss before she went out.
They both went out one after another to avoid suspicion.
"Chale abh?" Dev came out of nowhere just when Vedang stepped out. He smirked at him.
"Teri to-"
