"So, I have a meeting today with the editor for my music videos." Harry enters his bedroom from the en suite, shaking his wet hair with a towel to dry it. He was freshly out of the shower, wearing a purple robe. The humid air from the bathroom filled up the bedroom, making it feel like the Miami weather.

"Okay." I nod. It was a little sad that it was only the first day I was staying with him, but I understood that he still had work to do, whether I was here or not.

"But if you and Jess want to explore around the city a little, you're more than welcome to take my car," he says, bending over to dry the back of his head.

"You'd really be comfortable with that?" I ask with wide eyes. If I had as nice of cars as Harry, I wouldn't trust anyone to drive them.

"Totally," he shrugs, straightening his body back up. "Just as long as you promise to not let Jess drive." He subtly points to his right arm, implying Jess's car accident.

I couldn't help but laugh and nod my head, finding the joke quite funny actually.

"Okay." I chuckle. "If we were to go anywhere, which of your cars is the least expensive...or the easiest to replace."

"I think the Range Rover might be your best bet," Harry says, walking over to his dresser.

"Hey Lils," I hear Jess's voice come from the direction of the door. Harry and I both turn to look in her direction. "Can I come in?"

"I don't see why not." I shrug, though I did appreciate the fact that she asked instead of just walking in like she normally does.

She walks into the room, taking a look around since she hasn't been in here before. She takes a seat next to me on Harry's bed, smiling. I could clearly tell she wanted something.

"Just spit it out," I tell her, chuckling.

"There's somewhere I really want to go and I just checked and it's actually not too far from her. It's only like 15 minutes so I was thinking..." She trails off looking at me hopefully.

"Where is it you're wanting to go?" I ask her as I hear footsteps behind me. I turn around to see Harry approaching me.

"It doesn't matter where she wants to go," Harry joins in on the conversation. He tosses something at me and it lands in my lap. I hold it up, seeing it was a set of keys. "You can take her."

"Harry..."

"Just be back before it gets super late," he requests. "They just put Clueless on Netflix and I want to watch it with you so I feel less guilty."

"Yay." Jess stands up excitedly. She grips my hand in an attempt to pull me up with her. "Let's go get ready."

I turn down a road and it looks almost as if I was driving through a regular neighborhood, so I wasn't sure where Jess was navigating me to. But she had the address pulled up on her phone so I felt a little less like I was about to trespass onto someone's property. I look up to see the Hollywood sign, the view reminding me of the 'Rock of Ages' movie.

"It's a great place, I promise," Jess continues to try to convince me. She looks back down at her phone. "You're going to go straight for a little, then it should be up here on our left."

I do as she says and I see people walking across the narrow street. I slow down, fairly certain this is at least close to wherever Jess was taking me.

"Is this it up here?" I ask her, pointing to an elderly man who held the blue door to a small building open for his wife.

Jess glances down briefly at her phone before squealing and tilting her head back up. "Yes, it is. Okay, I think you can just park on the side right here."

I pull over, parallel parking on the side of the road behind a red SUV, shutting off the car.

"We better not get in trouble for anything," I say, unbuckling my seatbelt. Jess does the same, rolling her eyes at me.

"We won't," she says. "It's just a cafe...look." She points over to the building.

I turn my head to glance over, seeing a big blue and white sign saying cafe. I turn my head back to Jess, giving her a suspicious glare.

"Why did you bring me here?" I ask, squinting. "What's so special about this place that you had to come here?"

"I heard the food's good." She shrugs, desperately holding back a smile. I squint my eyes, honestly not believing a word that came out her mouth.

"Mhmm," I hum, opening the car door ajar, before turning to make sure no cars would speed past and rip the door of Harry's car off. Once I was sure there weren't any oncoming cars, I open the door fully, grabbing my purse and stepping out.

It was sunny outside today, perfect weather...not too hot, but also not as cold as Colorado. I hear Jess's car door close and she's by my side in a matter of seconds. Checking both ways first, we cross the road to the other side where the door of the cafe was.

My heart drops when I see the blue castle on the window of the door...then the words "Beachwood Cafe" written underneath.

I swiftly turn around to face Jess, who had a cheesy smile on her face.

"No," I say, shaking my head.

"Oh, come on. Why not?" She whines.

"Because," I say, lowering my voice as two teenage girls walk past. I smile at them and step out of the way as they enter the cafe, continuing once the door closed behind them. "This is weird."

"You think everything's weird." She rolls her eyes.

"But Har-"

"Can you just like...pretend you're not Harry Styles' girlfriend for like two goddamn seconds and act like Lili?" She cuts me off, seemingly insanely annoyed. "It's just a stupid cafe."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I ask, folding my arms together, shifting all my weight onto one leg.

"You're just...different," she says, shrugging.

"How?"

"You think everything's so 'weird' now," she explains. "It like you're so scared of being judged for doing anything out of you're little bubble of comfort anymore...and you used to never be like that. Anytime I suggest anything, it's like you have this new reflex to automatically say no."

I didn't see what she meant. I've never been the kind of person to have a crazy idea and go through with it...that was always her. Most of my adventures were ones she took me on...never my spontaneous idea.

"Whatever Jess," I mutter, opening the blue door.

I step inside, taking a look around. You could easily tell the color scheme they were going for, given the blue and yellow flooring and signs. It was a cute cafe...very different from the ones back home.

Jess surprises me by interweaving her arm with mine. "Come on... Let's see if the coffee's actually out."

"What are you going to get?" I ask her.

"Hmm... it's not quite lunchtime, but it's also a little too late for breakfast," she thinks out loud, chewing on her bottom lip in concentration as she stares down intently at the menu in her hands.

"Well I don't know about you, but I'm getting a cheeseburger." I shrug, having already decided after looking over the menu only once. Jess nods as she looks over the menu again. She gasps, obviously finding whatever it is that she wanted to eat.

"They have a chicken burrito. It's already decided," she says, shaking her head vigorously. Jess has always been a sucker for Chipotle. If I had a dollar for every time she's brought it home, I honestly might be able to afford Harry's house.

She orders her meal and I order mine. The waiter then asks if there's anything else we wanted. Jess smirks, obviously excited to ask the question she's been dying to ask since December. "Do you guys have any coffee?"

"Yes we do, would you like a cup?" The waiter asks.

"No thanks," she says in a sweet voice, turning to me with an annoyed look on her face. "Harry lied to all of us," she whispers.

"Harry Styles fan?" The waiter asks, hearing what Jess said to me.

"Yeah. She's the bigger fan though," she tells him, pointing to me. The waiter turns to me, looking me up and down once before smiling.

"It's too bad," he says, clicking his pen before setting it on top of his little notepad, chuckling. "You just missed him...he came in yesterday."

I had to flex my jaw to keep it shut. Harry said he went somewhere he hadn't been in a while...and that place was here.

"I..." I have to stop myself. I almost said I saw him this morning, but that may not be the smartest idea. "Darn."

The waiter nods, still smiling. This wasn't a happy smile though, it was more of a flirty type of smile...not that I was accusing him of flirting with me.

"I'll be back with your food," he says lowly before slipping away. Jess turns to me with wide eyes, giggling.

"You should've told him," she says, noticing how I stopped myself earlier. "He had gaga eyes for you the entire time he was talking to you."

"Okay I thought so, but I didn't want to say anything," I say quickly, leaning over the table.

Jess laughs, nodding. "He totally was."

The waiter eventually brought our food, and we ate it...obviously. Though I was full, something still sounded good.

"I hate to say it Jess, but...coffee sounds really good now," I say, sighing.

"Go get some then," she encourages. "I think you can order up at the counter."

"I'm going to," I say, sliding out of the booth to stand up and walk to the front counter. I wait behind an elderly man until it's my turn.

I order my coffee in a to-go mug, pay, and step out of the way for the people behind me, who I never bothered to look at. They eventually bring me my coffee and after saying thank you, I turn around.

I really should've watched where I was going. Because the next thing I know, I'm bumping into another body, almost knocking them over. Luckily my coffee stayed contently in my hand because spilling the coffee on this poor person would've only made matters a million times worse.

"Oh my god, I'm so sor..." I trail off as I finally look up, my eyes meeting with a pair of blue-green eyes. Her face was easily recognizable and I freeze in my tracks once I immediately realize who I just ran into.

"I'm so sorry," she says before I have the chance to pick my jaw up off the floor. Her accent was strangely American, and most definitely not what I was expecting her to sound like.

"No." I shake my head vigorously. "I-I should've watched where I was going."

"We're both at fault then, huh?" She laughs, shrugging she steps away. And I still haven't had the time to restart my heart.

After standing there for a second longer, I rush over to the table where Jess sits on her phone.

"We need to leave," I whisper shout to her. She quickly turns around, looking at me with fear in her eyes.

"Why?" She asks, panicking slightly.

"I'll explain in the car, but we need to leave now."

And with that, she quickly stands up, following me out of the cafe. I check briefly both ways before crossing the street to Harry's car.

"What was all that about?" Jess asks as we buckle our seatbelts.

"You cannot bring this up to Harry," I warn her. "If he knows this happened, it will be so award."

"Deal," she says, nodding vigorously.

"I just ran into Camille...literally," I tell her, my heart still racing. The fact that she didn't know me, but I knew exactly who she was made matters a million times worse. To her, some random girl ran into her and stood there like a fool. To me, I ran into my boyfriend's ex-girlfriend and almost spilled my coffee on her.

"Oh shit."
