Georgia's demeanor became frosty, her eyes were empty, and her lips were pressed together in a firm line.
Breathing in and sitting up she spoke, "As you all know the rouge sitings have been growing. Our pack was filled with some of the best fighter my father being one of them, he was our general. He lead and planned every mission and I was right there with him,"She smiled a bit, "we'd often go to other packs to help them fight; until one night we couldn't even protect ourselves" Shame hung heavily in her words, Gin frowned wanting to comfort her sister. "They disguised themselves as survivors from an attack by rouges, using that as their cover for why they smelled like rotten meat. There was no way of actually telling if they were from a pack or not, I mean they had kids!" Her eyes started watering, she blew out a breath,
"When I first saw them I knew something was off. I told dad but he was far too stubborn, and busy to actually take a good look at them." She shook her head, "Their eyes were wild, they looked like they were just itching to make a move. A few days later Gin and I were in my room when our power went off. Something in my heart told me something wasn't right. My first instinct was to go find my mom but my gut told me to grab Gin and hide. I couldn't put both of us at risk. I grabbed Gin and we hid in the closet. I heard my mother call for us but before she even reached my room it was faint but I heard flesh ripping." Tears ran down her face, " I heard him creeping towards my room so I put Ginger in the back of my closet and took him out, as quietly as I could; I wasn't sure how many people had come with him. Afterwards I grabbed Gin and went down the hall, I heard three more men so I helped Ginger out the window before putting her on my back and running. We were almost outta the clear until I picked up on my dads scent. He was headed back home to look for my mom. I couldn't just let him d-die! So I hid Ginger and ran back to try to stop him."
"When I reached our home, there were bodies of rouges scattered over our lawn, I smelled three still in the area. I heard a ruckus coming from the inside of our house so I ran and tried to help. A rouge attacked me before I could make it in the house, luckily for me my dad gave me some training. I fought and fought for what seemed to be for hours until I caught whiff of my dad. The rouge had me pinned until he was knocked out. I looked up and saw my old man covered in blood, gashes and holes. His long locks I used to love were ripped out in places, his dark skin was dowsed in blood, those dark mysterious eyes bloodshot and swollen, he looked so bad."she sobbed " Even on the verge of death he protected me. He protected me...Soon after he passed and I had to get back to Ginger. There were rouges approaching our border and I had to get us somewhere safe. When I got to Ginger I carried her and ran and ran. Idk how but it felt like I was stunned, a random surge of electricity ran through my body and I dropped Gin. I heard someone approaching us quickly but I fought and I fought until I got up and ran. I kept running and running even at night I barely rested. He was on our trail. I kept running and running until I found that highway and Jadah came down the road." She took a pause, " Worst part about it all is that I didn't even get to bury them, Who knows their bodies are probably still there. I wish I would've done more for them after they left. I loved my parents so much and if I would've, could've known that'd be my last time seeing them I would've held them a little tighter." She started sobbing and I had gotten up to hug her.
She never told me what happened to her family, We both had lost our family. I buried my face in her shoulder and cried. Gin came over and hugged her sister.
"Be up early, tomorrow I'll introduce you to the pack; we'll have a ceremony and go from there. Everyone get some rest." As he was getting up he gave a nod to Martin, and Levi.
Everyone dispersed, I got up from the floor and helped Georgia up. The three of us walked upstairs to our rooms.
Before entering my room I said goodnight to Georgia who muttered something before taking Ginger and closing the door. I tiredly walked over to my bed and hopped under the covers and as soon as I did I was out like a light.
"Jay...Get up...Come on" She said in between pokes.
I opened my eyes to see Georgia super close to my face, I mugged her face back before rolling my eyes.
"Ow" She landed on the floor with a thud.
Sitting up to stretch, "What time is it?"
"Good morning to you too, and it's 8, Sophia made breakfast but I didn't want to leave you up here." She said getting up off the floor and sitting on my bed, I absentmindedly touched my brown hair.
"I think I want to dye my hair." I blurted out pulling a strand up and letting it flop to my shoulders.
"Hm, what color are you thinking?"
I put my finger to my chin thinking.
I want to dye my hair lighter than brown and the only color that comes to mind is gold.
"If you want your hair lighter try gold, and if you want it darker go black and you and me can be twins." She said playing with a strand of her dark curly hair.
"You took the words right outta my head. I want to go lighter but do you think it'll look right?" She was thinking hard with a crease in her forehead.
"Yeah I think gold will look really good on you. Maybe some contacts as well."I gave her a confused look. "Jadah I notice the way you squint sometimes and how you switch places with Amaris to use her eyesight." She deadpanned and I blushed. I didn't know she saw all that.
"You're right maybe I could do a little transformation before the ceremony." I said thoughtfully, I'm at a new pack which means new Jadah, new start. This is perfect.
"We can go into details later but first I want to eat" I said and she nodded in agreement.
We both got up and ran out the door, to the steps. I slid down the banister and gracefully landed on my feet just before busting through the doors of the dining room where Sophia was sitting out a mound of golden fluffy pancakes. My mouth watered and I looked at the rest of the table and saw eggs, fruits, meats, and grits.
"Good morning girls." She said with a smile and we gave her a smile in return. "Take any seat, the boys should be down soon enough." She said and we walked to two empty seats near the meat and pancakes. This was about to be gone quick and I at least want some before they devour it.
I turned to Sophia who was putting orange juice on the table,
"Ummmm Sophia?" I asked and her black eyes shot up at me. "Before the ceremony I want a change." I stated feeling a little nervous of what she might say.
Her eyebrows shot up, "What kind of change dear?" She asked giving me her full attention.
"Well an appearance change." I said nervously." I'm at a new pack and I want to reinvent myself" I said and she nodded in understanding.
"We can go to the mall after breakfast and get you girls some new clothes and head to a salon."
"Thank you."I said and she smiled back at me.
"You're welcome sweetheart now get ready because when the boys come down the foods gonna be gone faster than you can blink." She said gesturing to the spread with her spatula.
Soon the herd of boys came down and in no time they picked up everything at the table. Me being the quick one I am I snatched me and Georgia about five pancakes each, some sausage and bacon, and sadly only a little bit of grits. What? Us werewolves have a big appetite.
I was instantly savoring the deliciousness in mouth and in a matter of seconds I was done. Georgia finished after me and we both put our plates in the sink before heading upstairs to get ready for the mall.
I walked into my closet and saw an Aztec red top, and some light shorts. It was pretty warm outside. I went to the mirror, brushed my hair into a curly ponytail, and pulled on some sandals before walking out. I walked down the steps and saw Georgie and Sophia by the door waiting for me.
"Ready?" Sophia asked with a smile.
"Ready as I'll ever be." I said breathing out nervously. She grabbed her purse, and keys and we were heading towards a beautiful black escalade.
"Woah." I said in awe stopping to admire the vehicle.
"Thanks honey, now come on we have to get going." She said and I sped walked to the car.
She started the car and soon we were on our way to the mall.
The drive was short and before I knew it we were in front of a big mall and pulling into an almost full parking lot.
When I walked in, the air was on blast and everyone was buzzing about like bees. Some were in the food court with friends and family and the others were entering and exiting the stores. As we were walking Sophia was being greeted with head bows through out the mall but they ignored us. Good thing that'll all change tonight.
We started walking to a salon called 'Chanel's Beauty Salon'. It was very posh in the inside, we waited at the front for someone to assist us and soon a very beautiful girl with a healthy Afro came to us.
"Good morning Luna." She bowed her head, "What can I do for you?" She asked kindly flashing us with her dazzling smile.
"Well my daughter here would like to have her hair dyed, and trimmed." Sophia said pulling me to the front. I smiled at the use of the word "daughter".
"Okay follow me." She said leading me to an area where other stylists were engaging in conversation. Their clients, and the other stylists were talking and laughing together. It's so lively and welcoming here.
Then I was being sat in a chair with a black cape around my neck. She lowered my chair and my neck was being put between two cushions.
"What's your name kid?" She asked pulling out shampoos, and conditioners and putting them on the sink.
"Jadah. Whats your name?" I asked and she smiled.
"Stephanie's the name. Now I will be rinsing your hair first, so tell me if the water's too hot or cold kay?" She said and I nodded before leaning back. Cold water splashed on my head making me jump, then it transitioned to a warmer temperature.
Her fingers were massaging, working through my hair like magic. I groaned and relaxed, she chuckled and continued to massage my dry scalp. When she was done I was being lifted up from the sink with a towel around my head. She lead me to a chair where she deep conditioned, and oiled my scalp making it smell like mint before she put me under the dryer.
I grabbed a magazine near by and was reading about the First Lady, and Issa Rae. The dryer went off and she put me back in her chair.
"So what color do you want your hair hon?" She asked messing with her tools.
"Ummm Gold."I said smiling.
"Okay hold on." she said and handed me another magazine about Chris Browns gorgeous baby Royalty, she's so cute.
After what seemed like forever she came back with a bowl of bleach.
"Okay this is the bleach I'm going to use it to lighten your hair." I nodded my head before sitting in the chair while she worked her magic.
I don't know how long I was sitting here waiting as she lightened my hair, let it sit, rinsed it out, put the dye in, washed it again, and styled it but From the way my ass started hurting it was long.
"Okay. Finished." She said happily, I blew out a breath.
"Thank god!" I cried sitting up from my seat.
"Hey! Beauty takes time." She defended and I rolled my eyes before stepping in front of the mirror.
I looked gorgeous. I touched it and it was super soft and in golden waves down my back.
"Wow." I breathed. "You're a miracle worker!" I exclaimed and she smiled.
"Now go show your mom and sister." She shooed me out after removing the cape.
I walked to the front and saw mom and Georgie with their heads in magazines. I walked in front of them before speaking,
"So how do I look?" I asked doing a spin surprising them, they jumped before looking up at me with wide eyes.
"I love it, how about you guys?" I asked again and Georgie was the first to say something,
"Oh my god you look so pretty!" She gushed standing up and touching my hair. I laughed before waiting for mom to speak.
"So...how does it look Sophia?" She touched her heart and stood in front of me.
"You look beautiful honey."She said sincerely. "Now let's get going" She grabbed her purse and we headed out the door.
"Oh! Before we go can I get contacts?" I asked,
"Sure honey but let's get going." She said grabbing our hands and leading us to a store full of dresses. She turned to us before speaking,
"Okay!" She clasped her hands together, "We're going to find some dresses to greet the pack in and then we'll head to the optometrist to get your contacts." She said and we nodded before separating into different aisles in the store.
I was looking for a dress for Georgia, and she was finding me a dress. Right now I'm looking for a white dress for her since her hair is black I know white will pop on her.
I was skimming my hand over the dresses when one caught my eye. I pulled it out and gasped. It's perfect! It's a spaghetti strap off the shoulder dress with lace on it at baby doll length. It was beautiful. I ran out of my aisle to find Georgia, and I found her holding a beautiful red dress.
I stopped and held out my dress to her and she gave me my dress.
"Oh my gosh Jay it's perfect!" She gushed, twirling around with it.
"I know. This red is going to look good with my new hair color." I said mesmerized by its beauty. It was a simple blood red body con dress, thats what made it beautiful. It's simple.
"Did you find Sophia a dress?" I asked her and she nodded. She ran into another aisle with me trying to keep up. She stopped in an aisle filled with long elegant ball gowns and pulled out a long sleeved black dress that touched the floor. It was gorgeous.
"You like? Her hair will match per-" She stopped speaking.
"Girls what did you find?" We heard Sophias' voice from behind us and I turned and saw her watching us. We gave her big smiles before Georgia pulled out the dress, when she saw it she held her hands up to her mouth and ran to it.
"Oh my gosh girls this is beautiful." She said taking it gently from Georgia's hands, and holding it up to her chest.
"Thanks I-we found it." Georgia said glancing at me. She looked up at us with a grateful expression.
"You girls are the best! Lets find some shoes and head out." She said excitedly disappearing into one of the aisles with the dress in her hand.
I began walking around looking for a pair of shoes for Georgia but not before asking her heels, or flats and she said flats because and I quote "They show off my sexy stalks" She even added the leg stroking to prove her point.
I continued walking down the aisle when I saw some adorable baby doll flats and that reminds me. Why didn't we grab Ginger? I turned my head and saw Sophia rushing through aisles with two dresses in her hands instead of one.
I sped walked up to her to catch up and when I did she was in the kids aisle,
"Oh Jadah dear I was getting some stuff for Ginger. See," She said holding up a beautiful little turquoise dress with tiny silver beads on it.
"This is gorgeous! She'll love it." I said admiring it.
"Oh thanks. I thought it would look good with her fiery red hair." She said gazing at the dress then looking back up at me.
"I was looking for some shoes for her when I found these." She said holding up a pair of silver sandals, I nodded in approval.
"Okay, I think we're ready to check out." She said looking over everything and soon Georgia popped up out of no where with her dress and some black heels in her hands for me. Oh no if she thinks I'm about to break my neck in some heels she's wrong.
"No, uhn-uhn." I said shaking my head, she just nodded her head 'Yes' with a big smile on her face.
"I am not about to break my neck in those. Put them back." I said glaring at the devil shoes. When I looked back up at her she was still nodding her head yes, everything I'm saying to her falling on deaf ears.
"Jadah you'll look great in these and they go great with your dress." She said holding them next to my dress.
"What about if I fall or die in those huh?" I asked, she only shook her head 'No'.
"No, you won't you'll practice before the ceremony." She explained, I've had practice only in wedges and those are leveled. I never walked in pencil heels.
"I never walked in those before. Only wedges." I clarified. She nodded her head in understanding,
"That's okay that's why you'll practice." She said and I threw my head back and huffed.
"Fine whatever." She clapped cheerily, "I knew I was gonna lose this battle." I muttered, her and Sophia laughed before walking up to the counter with me tailing behind them.
We got to the front and the cashier lady gave us our total,"That would be 7,999.99 please."She said and my eyes grew wide but Sophia pulled out a black card and I already knew it belonged to Jax.
She took the receipt, grabbed our bags, and walked out. When we got to the car I threw the bags in and collapsed on the seat. I grew tired and closed my eyes.
"Jadah, Jadah, Jadah." I heard Georgie say and I groaned before opening my eyes. I saw the sign of lens crafters, I stretched as much as I could in a truck before jumping out of it. We walked to the entrance where Sophia held the door open for both me and Georgia and we were all greeted by a woman with brown hair and glasses,
"Hello welcome to lens crafters what do you need Luna?" She asked bowing her head. I know she saw us , we aren't invisible!
"I'm here to get my daughter some Contacts." She said and the woman looked puzzled.
"You have a daughter?" She asked in disbelief glancing at me and then at Georgia who came to the front.
"No. She has three daughters, you'll see the other one at the ceremony tonight." She said standing proudly, Sophia smiled at her. The ladies mouth was wide open. Sophia snapped in her face and the lady jumped back.
"Follow me ladies I'll have you checked for as soon as possible." She rambled after scrambling to the back. Georgia snickered a bit and soon so did Sophia.
Another lady came out and took me to a back room where she examined my eyes, and asked questions. When she was done I went back into the room with Sophia and Georgie then I sat down and we waited.
After what felt like eternity the lady came back. "So..."She trailed off flipping through her clipboard.
"Jadah."I answered,
"Jadah. Your eyesight isn't that bad but I recommend contacts and right now we only have in clear in stock." She said nervously chewing her lip and I nodded.
"That's fine." I replied with a smile, she blew out a breath relieved before running to the back.
We patiently waited for her to come back and when she did she had a small blue box in her hand. We paid and left out to head back home to get ready. When we pulled up we rushed in the house with our things. Everyone was in the living room watching T.V even Ginger who was balled up next to Tyler with the Twins on both sides of them. Anthony came out of the kitchen eating a sandwich,
"Hey mom, Georgia-..." He walked a little closer, squinting his eyes as he examined me before taking a bite of his sandwich. He leaned back looking me over again before saying,"Who are you?" Georgie and Sophia snickered,
I blushed,"It's me Jadah."I said watching as his eyes grew wide, Everyone snapped their heads in our direction.
"No way! Jadah is that really you?" He asked in disbelief and I nodded, Ginger ran to me and I picked her up.
"Wow Jay your hair is so pretty!" She squealed, playing with my hair. I smiled,
"Thanks Gin." I said kissing her cheek, Kendall then came out of god knows where,
"What's with the sudden change?" He inquired putting weight on his left foot. I put Ginger back on the floor before glancing up at him.
"Well since I am at a new pack, I want a new start. You guys are slowly becoming my family and I needed to shed who I once was." I answered with a small smile and a shrug, he smiled and walked up to me,
"Well I like it. You look very pretty with it." He complimented playing with my hair making me smile. I felt a pair of eyes on me and I looked around and was captured by Tyler's shining green ones. They were glossed over and he was staring at me intently, I shifted on the balls of my feet out of discomfort. Then he just walked away.
What was that about?
My attention was drawn to Sophia who was looking at her Michael Kors wrist watch, " Okay girls it's 4:30 now and we have until 7:oo to get ready so go do what you gotta do, I got Ginger." She said picking her up, but stopped and turned, "Boys you need to be ready as well and Kendall go up to your fathers office and tell him to get ready." She commanded walking off.
Me and Georgia scurried up the stairs, I hurried to my room. When I opened my door Georgia followed. I stopped and turned to her, "Uh what are you doing?" She turned around and looked at me like I was dumb.
"Um getting ready." She said in a 'duh' tone, I gave her an incredulous look.
"In your room, yeah." I said pushing her out the door and just as she was about to turn around and protest I shut the door.
"Bitch." I heard her say before she walked into her room slamming the door. I laughed before going to the bathroom and turning on the shower.
I stripped out of my shorts and t-shirt and walked into the heated shower. I let the water run over my muscles, my body's pretty sore from running around all day.
Turning off the shower I wrapped a towel around my body and went to the closet. I pulled out a red bra and matching panties, I finished by brushing my teeth.
As I was about to put on my dress Georgia bust through the door in a bra and matching undies. I picked up the nearest thing and threw it at her. She ducked just before it hit her,
"Haha you missed." She said childishly sticking out her tongue.
"Yeah but I wish I didn't." I said with a fake smile, she just rolled her eyes before throwing her dress and shoes on my bed.
"Okay I'll do our makeup because if I let you do mine I might lose an eye." She said and I glared at her.
"Shut up, But if that's how you feel be my guest." I said plopping down on my bed.
"Glad we're on the same page." She said clapping her hands together. Soon she started lining things up on the vanity.
"Okay come on let's get you ready." She said facing me. I hesitantly walked over to the mirror and took a seat. I looked at what she had lined up and along the table was a variety of lipsticks, eyeshadows, eye liner, and brushes.
"Okay Jay be real still while I work my magic." She said pulling out an eyeliner, I closed my eyes and let her take over.
An hour after a bunch of painful plucking, pulling, and painting I was finally able to pull on my dress. I moved my hair to the side and stepped in it making sure I was careful since she just painted my nails.
I turned around so she could zip me up, I heard the sliding as she did it and when she was done I was almost facing the mirror but Georgia yanked me back,
"What?" I asked confused.
"You're not done yet." She said sitting me back down in this blasted chair. She went to my bed and grabbed the little blue box that held my contacts and ripped it to shreds. She opened the little caps and told me to open my eyes really big and I did. She began to put the plastic things in my eyes and when she was done I blinked. It was like a whole new world I never knew about, my eyesight was perfect.
"Okay now you help me get ready." She said and I nodded.
I helped her into her dress, sat her down in the chair and helped her put an elegant bun on the side of her head after she showed me how. I also applied her makeup with her help. When she was done I didn't let her look at herself but she was beautiful. She put on some flower diamond earrings, and her ballet flats, she also helped me slip on my heels.
When we were done we walked to the mirror together and at the same time we gasped. I was a whole new Jadah. My dress fit me like a second skin and the booty I never knew I had was poking out! My legs looked good in the heels, and my hair was still in neat waves down my back.
Georgia looked so elegant in her short white dress, with her side bun, and flats. She looked over my outfit with evident proudness in her eyes.
"I did good," she dragged out,"Dang Jadah I didn't know you had a butt!" She said and I laughed ignoring how my face heated up from embarrassment.
"We look good and it's..." She looked at her phone, "6:50!" She yelled and I jumped.
"Oh my god! Come on!" I yelled running to the door as best as I could in heels and I didn't even practice in them!
We raced out of my room and down the stairs, well I had to walk or I would've really broken my neck. I was on the last step when I heard Georgie yell,
"Jay its 7!" I screamed before sprinting through the front door. I saw Georgia spinning in a circle confus-
"Hello Darkmoon Pack." I heard Jax's booming voice come from the backyard, We turned around to face the house an-
"I've gathered you all here today because we have new members joining our pack." He said and the crowd grew silent. "These girls happened to be the "rouges" spotted at the diner, I know what you're all thinking, before you chew me out just listen" he said with a laugh in his voice, "These girls have been through so much, not just individually but together," We kept creeping to the backyard, " I won't go into too much detail about their story, it's not mine to tell, but I saw something fierce in these girls. The way they defended each other, fought for themselves, and the loyalty I saw moved me. You all know how I feel about loyalty." There were grunts of agreement, we were behind the stage now, "As you all know I don't have daughters, all knuckle headed sons." We all laughed,
"I don't normally do this but these girls, they're special. I will protect and love them as my own and raise them to be the best they can be. DarkKnight meet my daughters."
I had so many tears coming down my face I didn't even notice he introduced us, I started walking towards the stage,
"Jay your makeup!" Georgia screamed wiping and cleaning up my running liner. But only Ginger made it to the stage; and she looked so beautiful in her blue dress, silver sandals, and her red hair in a lovely bun on top of her head. She went to stand near him and held his big hand. He gave her the microphone and she spoke,
"I'm Ginger or Gin and I'm 6. Alpha Jax and Luna Sophia are the best, I'm so happy to stay here. I lost my mommy and daddy but Alpha Jax and Luna Sophia make it all better. Thank you!" The crowd erupted in 'Awes' and smiled at the sight, afterwards she ran towards Sophia to grab her hand.
"And my two eldest girls," He said,
"That was so beautiful!" I cried further,
"I know Jay but you have to stop crying we have to go on stage...Why's it so quiet?" Georgia peeked her head out the curtain and immediately turned around with large eyes.
"Shit!"
"Language Georgia" Jax said, he tried to hide his chuckle as the crowd joined in with their own.
"We're ready!" We cried stumbling onto the stage struggling to catch our footing especially me. It felt like I was just learning to walk. I looked out at the crowd and seen them staring at us before bursting out into laughing fits. I felt the blood rush to my cheeks, I lowered my head with a shy smile and walked over to Jax with Georgie right behind me. He chuckled a bit before grabbing our shoulders and turning us to face the crowd.
"And my two girls Jadah, and Georgia." He said introducing us and I smiled before taking the microphone.
"I'm Jadah or Jay, I just turned 16 two days ago and this is all new to me. I gave myself
a make over just to meet you all." I nervously chuckled.
"Before I came here I was at the SilverMist pack. My old parents were the betas and let's just say I wasn't this popular back home. On my birthday when I was supposed to meet my mate I found him and he rejected me." They stayed quiet letting me finish my
story. "So I ran away, found Georgie, and Gin here, then we met the boys." I said with a smile," Then Alpha Jax, Luna Sophia, Martin, and Levi. It means a lot to me to be able to be apart of such a true pack. Thank you." I said to everyone before passing the microphone to Georgie.
She awkwardly took the mic, "Uh, hello everyone my names Georgia and I've had a rough few days as well." She let out a light chuckle,
"Me and Ginger we were from the DarkSky pack...but it was over run by rogues." She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply, it was still hard for her to talk about. I placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder,
When she was calm she opened her eyes and gave me an assuring nod and smile, "Me and Ginger were on the run and Jay here being the hero she is saved me and Gin from a rogue when I was too weak to fight." She looked at me and smiled gratefully, "She took us in and together that's how we stumbled upon your territory! I won't relay too much of what Jadah said but I'm damn grateful-"
"Language Georgia." Jax scolded again and the crowd laughed,
"Sorry! I'm grateful to have a strong foundation with these amazing people," She rushed and gestured to us, "Thanks DarkKnight pack!" She finished walking away as the crowd applauded.
"Now that you've met my daughters it's time to officially induct them into the DarkKnight pack." Jax said and soon a man came up to us with a silver knife on a cushion.
"Okay, Georgie come here." He motioned her to the front, she scurried up to him. He took the knife and carved a D.K in her hand making her wince a bit. He did the same to his hand, grabbed hers, and shook it.
"I, Jaxon Knight officially add Georgia..."
"Collins." She answered.
"I, Jaxon Knight officially add Georgia Collins to the DarkKnight pack." He said mixing their blood, soon her eyes were glowing red for a half second before going back to brown.
"Okay Jay." He said taking my hand and doing the same thing. When he was finished I could feel my eyes glow their crystal blue and I could hear Amaris' Howl. I heard everyone's thoughts in my head and tried to tune it out because it was Gins turn.
"Come on baby girl your turn."He said trying to take Gingers hand but she clung to Sophia for dear life.
"Oh boy"I heard someone in my head say,
"No Jax, No."She said shaking her head. He sighed exasperated, Sophia whispered really low in her ear and when she was done Gin was perked up eagerly holding out her hand. Everyone laughed at her sudden change. He carved it in her hand and she winced a bit but not too much and when he was done her eyes glowed their beautiful gold earning gasps from the crowd.
"She's a fox shifter!" Someone from the crowd yelled and we all nodded our heads.
"But they're supposed to be dead!" He said, Ginger gasped and hid behind Jax. Everyone went into protective mode and growled but the loudest was Jax. His eyes were a bright hazel and he was shaking until Gingers small voice was heard.
"Calm down Jax, remember we have to be nice." She cooed rubbing his hand. He slowly stopped shaking,
"I want him thrown in a cell."Jax demanded turning to face the crowd. Soon guards were coming and taking the thrashing man to the cells. "The rest of you are dismissed." He said and the pack scurried off.
"Welcome to the DarkKnight Pack. Training in the morning." Martin and Levi said patting our backs before walking into the house. Oh Dear.
