I can't fucking believe this.It's been four weeks since the battle and Angel still isn't woke.Twenty-eight rest less fucking days without her in my arms.I thought that she would've healed herself by now but she hasn't.She's still in a coma.Shes lost at least half of her body weight from the cuts and gashes.
I've never seen Jadah so pale,so thin,so-so lifeless.She's been in the hospital before but it was never this bad.
I looked down at the small faces of my beautiful children and I almost cried.They look just like her.The big doe eyes,pink pouty lips,the really curly hair,and their cute button noses.
Ryker.My little prince came out swinging first.Reaching and grabbing for his baby sister.He's not much of a cryer,he only cries when he's hungry or when he's not around Jadah.He always reaches for her and what messes me up is that he doesn't even know what she looks like.He was instantly placed in my arms when he came out.Raina on the other hand.My little princess can't be separated from Ryker or she'll go red in the face.Since they've been born they can not be separated.She's so beautiful and tiny with her big brown eyes,the curliest of curls on her head and to my surprise it's actually black.
Her connection with Jadah is stronger than Ryker's.She can't go long without being near her or she has a fit,her body heat seeps through the blanket in mass amounts.I can't leave the hospital because my babies need her.I need her.
I looked down into Raina's beautiful eyes and smiled.She stared up at me and raised her tiny fist,I kissed it and kissed her forehead.I looked over at Ryker who was too preoccupied staring in Jadah's direction.Watching her intently with his brown eyes,soon he started reaching out for her.When he received no reciprocation he cried and it didn't take Raina long before she followed suit.
I furrowed my brows cooing and bouncing them slightly in my arms.After a while it got louder to the point I stood up and began pacing,my mission:Quiet them down.Still reaching and screaming I stopped pacing and quickly rushed over to Jadahs bed side.Carefully I hovered closer to Jadah which slowly brought the screaming to a cease.Blowing out a breath of relief I allowed my body to slump.I lolled my head to the side taking in jadahs face.What was once her round smooth face now showed bone structure,and coarse skin.Lips that were once plump,soft,and a vibrant pink now were arid and pale.I seen some movement out the corner of my eye causing me to do a double take.
"Did you see that?"I asked Ryder.The babies started squirming again,leaning closer to her face so that we were inches apart I noticed her eyes twitching and soon big brown eyes were staring up at me.I froze.My eyes slowly moved down to the babies who were now crying in my arms and reaching for Jadah.Jadah's eyes adjusted before they slid over to where the babies were wriggling,then they landed on me,recongnition and relief filled her orbs.She moved a bit before her eyes casted down at the twins in my arms.
Tears filled her eyes before she pouted and reached towards them with her frail thin arms.I slowly brought them closer to her and she leaned in wincing but kissed their heads.
"You're so beautiful."She whispered to them kissing Raina's raised fist with admiration in her eyes.Ryker smiled at her before he reached towards her,further shocking me.
Jadah continued to rain kisses on their tiny faces,their little giggles and her laughs filled the room bringing an infectious smile to my face.It was a beautiful sight and that was the first time I've ever heard them laugh.I can only get them to smile but Jadah wakes up and has them giggling away.I looked at her instantly mesmorized by her,feeling my gaze she reluctantly took her eyes off of the babies and looked back at me.She smiled and I leaned in and kissed her softly,full of love and need to feel her. My lips devoured hers making her sway.
Her lips were dry and cracked but I didn't care.My baby is back.She came back to me.To us.I'll mind link the others later but right now we need this time.
The rest of the afternoon we all played,our family together again but soon Jadah's stomach started hurting and I mind linked the doctor.
"Silvia,Jadah has woken up and she's in pain.Come in immediately."I cut her off before I got an answer and I mind linked the others.
"Everyone Jadah has woken up come to the hospital quickly."I said before cutting them off as well.
Jax has been filling in the alpha position for me,handling my paperwork because I refused to leave the hospital.Everyone else has been pretty busy with their mates but they still made time to come in and look over her,hoping for progress.
I heard the door open and it was the Doctor.She smiled and bowed to me before heading over to Jadah,a wide smile covering her lightly tanned face.Jadah smiled back before the Doctor bowed and gave Jadah two pills and a cup of water.
In a daze the doctor stared at us and Jadah,a sense of longing in her blue eyes as she watched us.After a while she delivered her report,"I'm so happy you've woken up Jadah."She smiled,Jadah returned it graciously."While you were in a coma,you gave birth."She gestured to the two babies reaching for Jadah again.I chuckled at them."We performed a C-section on you since you were in a coma and you couldn't push.You're all healed but the cuts Talen left-"At the mention of his name the babies started fussing.The both of them screamed to the top of their lungs,and soon Raina started heating up like a furnace,I could feel the heat through her blanket.
My eyes widened and Jadah reached over and took the babies one at a time.She cooed and rocked the babies until they calmed down and eventually their brown eyes closed.I couldn't stop the smile that slowly covered my face,she's a natural.It usually takes me half an hour to get them calm.
The doctor smiled before she continued,"The cuts left by him became scars.Your hand also had third degree burns on it but over the time you were comatose they healed."Jadah nodded silently,lifting her lightly scarred tan hand inspecting the intricate web like lines on her palm"I noticed after looking over the results of your test that you didn't have any signs of stress or exhaustion.Your powers didn't take as much energy from you as they did before,you just had blood loss."She smiled before lifting her eyes from her clip board.
"Ummmm when can we leave the hospital?"Jadah asked in a raspy voice getting comfortable on her hospital bed,minding the twins.
"You can leave tomorrow if all goes well."Jadah smiled before looking down at the babies.She leaned down and nuzzled their little noses before planting a kiss on each one of them.The babies unconsciously smiled making us smile,Dr.Silvias voice brought us out of our reverie.
"Jadah I wish to inform you about Ryker and Raina."She said glancing at the two babies in jadahs arms.At the mention of their names Jadah looked up and her eyes grew dark and serious."They're unlike any other child that has been in our facility."She said still trying to believe it her self as she moved her eyes to us.I felt my stomach drop.What does she mean?Giving her a sign to continue Jadah stiffly nodded her head at the doctor"Raina heats up like a furnace when she's upset and the heat emanates from her body at such alarming temperatures.Alpha Malachi has had us check to see if she had a fever a few days back and at some point we believed she did,but when she calmed down she was back to normal."I met eyes with Jadah and nodded my head 'yes' letting her know that it's true.
"That's not all."We both looked at her again.Her face was stoic and so serious I felt a chill race down my spine.What if it's something worse involving the babies?"Ryker......he hasn't shown any signs of abilities or over heating.He's completely fine except when he's upset Raina's upset.What I am trying to say is that your children possess a power beyond anything I've ever known.Just lik-"She was cut off by the door slamming open.
We all looked towards the door and everyone was there.The Knights came in looking around until their eyes landed on Jadah.Relieved and radiant smiles masked their faces and tears filled their eyes.Georgia was the first to move and she ran to Jadah and embraced her in a tight hug being extra careful of the babies.You could hear her little sniffles and her telling Jadah how much she missed her.I watched and smiled because these two are connected and it's weird when they're separated from each other.
When they were done hugging,Georgia didn't waste anytime on attacking the twins with kisses.The twins woke up and soon were wide eyed and confused at the overly excited soul in front of them.
"Hi babies.Im auntie Georgie Porgie."She cooed in a low voice making us all laugh,the babies simply studied her.
"I'm surprised they don't have hazel eyes and brown hair."She said tilting her head bewildered looking at their brown eyes and black hair.
Everyone else came over and looked at the babies before nodding in agreement.Soon Sophia came over reaching forward with her long arms and took Raina from Georgia with a smile on her face.I heard sirens in my head and I started to feel anxious.If she takes Rain from Jadah she's gonna split ear drums and burn skin.
"Come here granny's baby,"She said with a soft smile on her face as her long slender fingers danced arounds Rainas' face.Her wide brown eyes analyzed the pale skin and orange hair.Noticing how far Sophia was taking her from Jadah before she started squirming and looking back at Jadah for help.
Jadah gently reached and grabbed the baby bringing her to her chest.Standing completely bewildered with a threatening look as though she was contemplating on taking Raina back.Standing firm and tall Sophia asked,"Jadah.Why are you hogging my grand baby?"She asked placing her hands on her hips with a firm line set in her lips.
Adjusting the baby she said,"Baby Rain gets really fussy when she's separated from me mom."Jadah said sending an uneasy smile towards her.Scoffing and waving her hand she shook her head about to reach again.
This time Raina didn't hold her tongue,she screamed.Loud.
"Jesus Rain."Tyler said covering his ears protectively,as did everyone else.
Jadah quickly adjusted and rocked the baby.Like lava overflowing from a volcano Raina was slowly turning red in the face.Taking one last deep breathe Raina quieted down.Jadah fanned the baby with her hand while looking at Sophia,
"This is what I meant."She said firmly with a daring look holding her mother's stare before looking down at the baby.
Sophia retreated reluctantly and stood next to Jax a sad yet understanding look in her eyes.Jax rubbed her back with an encouraging look in his eyes.She only wanted to hold her grand daughter but Raina isn't ready to leave Jadah's side.

I was slowly rocking Rain and her big brown eyes were drooping relieving me.I just woke up and I'm already in love with my angels but I need to head to the bathroom,i'm not feeling too fresh.
You would think my werewolf healing would've kicked in by now,causing these cuts to be gone but they're still here.They aren't as bad but they hurt and are bothering me.What ever powers Talen possessed,they were no joke,they have to be laced with wolf's bane.I don't know how but that has to be it,I would've healed by now if they were from some other wolf.
Looking down at my little princess and prince,astonishment filled my orbs.My loves were born while I was comatose.Adjusting Rain I ran my fingers over the scar on my tummy.Looking up at the babies I carressed the back of their heads with a small smile.They get their hair from their father and their doe eyes from me.Randomly a sharp pain pulsed from my wounds.Wincing and sitting up carefully I took a deep breathe.
"I really have to get outta here,I got winded from moving."I said to my self as I glanced at the babies.
Malachi went to walk our family out so I was alone with the babies.
"Now would be a good time for him to come back"I was itching to wash the dried blood from my body in places they forgot.It was crusty and and cracked on my skin when it creased.
Carefully I removed a pillow from behind my back, folding it in a "U" shape.Gently lifting Ryker and placing him down slowly and gently first.I stilled and held my breath when he whimpered a bit.
"Shit."Amaris chuckled.
Miraculously he had fallen back to sleep.I visibly relaxed my tense muscles.
"Now.....Rains turn."I mentally encouraged myself,releasing a breath.
"This should be good."Amaris cackled.
Rolling my eyes I began moving her away from my chest and towards the bed,she sucked in a deep breath and I stilled.Squirming slightly she eventually settled down.I placed her against the soft surface of the bed pillow in the crook of the "U" close to Ryker so she would at least think I'm there.I watched for a few minutes to see if they would notice a change and luckily they didn't.I smiled proudly at my work.I shakily stood up,using the bed to gain my balance and get used to using my legs.
"Those weeks bed ridden made my muscles weak."I said to myself as I took my Shakey steps.I feel like bambi,when he first learned to walk.
Eventually I made it to the bathroom,I lightly shut the door behind me so I wouldn't wake up the twins.Steadily I stepped over to the mirror taking my appearance in.
My hair was dull,dry,and brittle as I twisted it between my fingers it resembled sand paper.I raised my arms that formerly held muscle were now bones,the liquid nutrients the doctors kept me on barley kept my skin on my skeleton.Light purple and red cuts decorated my skin every where,on my face,arms,chest.....lips.I felt them on the lower half of my body too.I felt bad looking at this girl,raising my shirt I see the long scar from my C-section.My skin is sickly pale,overall I look like a beat up ghost.I instantly turned on the shower,this is unacceptable.I stripped out of my clothing the best I could with weak muscles and scars.
Wincing as the the shirt I had on brushed against my skin,irritating my cuts.Steam soon filled the bathroom making my skin feel sticky and moisturized.I stepped into the shower,and into the warm water.I hissed when my cuts met the water.Like oil and water they didn't sit well with each other.I let the water soak and run over my cuts until the germs were gone.I grabbed a rag and lathered it with soap.I began my mission on removing that crusty blood from my skin.
My wounds were scrubbed raw,until the water rinsing off of me turned clear.I washed my hair,and made sure to get all the dirt and grime out of my ends.When I felt like every inch of me was cleaned I turned off the water and stepped out the shower.
I felt much better.Taking a look in the mirror I felt much better and I looked better.My curls looked rejuvenated,the pink slowly but surely returned to my lips,and my skin felt revived.Looking on the toilet I saw a t-shirt and stretchy shorts that went to my knees.I left my hair down and stepped out of the bathroom.Just as I left the bathroom Malachi stepped into the room.His eyes slowly looked over my body and a smile slowly filled his face.He quickly walked towards me and took my face in his hands before he kissed me.Slowly and passionately.
The cuts on my lips felt numb as they buzzed from the kiss.Its been so long since I've been able to reciprocate a kiss,a hand gesture,hell hug!Weakly standing on my tippy toes I pulled him closer bringing him into a very well needed hug.After sacrificing myself for my family,not only putting my life at danger but my kids I cried.A long well needed one.I racked and sobbed and Malachi held me and cooed me and rubbed my back until I calmed down to small hiccups.
Looking up and wiping away my tears with my hand I pouted."I'm so sorry.So,so sorry.I sacrificed myself not only putting myself at risk but our children.You would've lost all of us at once."I sobbed again.
Lifting my head up with disbelief and incredulous-ness in his eyes he said,"Angel.Deep breaths.Yes you sacrificed yourself and put yourself in danger but you saved everyone.We would've all been killed.You did what any good Luna would do.You protected your pack.That makes us a lucky pack and me a lucky Alpha to have such a wonderful person like you by my side to help guide me and raise our beautiful kids."He finished with a smile.
My own smile graced my face and I hugged him back tightly."Thank you" I said giving him one last squeeze before letting go.My scars were getting irritated.
The twins were still asleep soundly and I smiled watching how peacefully they were sleeping.
"where's Talens body?"A stoic expression smoothed over my face instantly.
The mood in the room shifted,"He's in the dungeon under maximum security."I froze.Ryker squirmed a bit before relaxing.
A cold chill trickled down my body,"He's not dead?"I incredulously asked keeping my voice barely above a whisper careful not to wake the babies.
"You burned him terribly but he was still slightly breathing."
Not wasting any time I began heading out the door.I got a good 4 steps out the door before Malachi grabbed me and pinned me to the hospital wall.I squirmed and kicked but I had no effect seeing as I just started using my legs again.
His face was held rage as he was about to scream at me a nurse rushed around the corner,scorned with wild eyes searching.When his eyes found us they temporarily filled with relief until he remembered his reason for running around the corner.
"Luna Jadah!Alpha Malachi,your mom has been attacked,it's Talen!"
