My rage and hunger to hurt him only increased when he growled lowly at me but tried to cover it up.I growled back but tensed and calmed under a velvety,sultry voice.
"Angel calm down."I heard Mal say but I shook my head trying my hardest not to listen to the calm and tranquil tone in his voice.
I continued to stalk towards Liam but there goes his damned voice again.
"Angel don't do it.We need his help remember why he's here."He said reminding me but I could care less about his damn help.
I felt one of the twins kick in my belly which made my strength and rage come back 10x harder,I raised my hand in the air and he flew back into the wall breaking through the cement.
His agony filled whine filled the air which only made me smirk maliciously.
"Mal do you think I care about his help?"I asked in a bone chilling voice that scared my self."I will protect my family from him.Didn't you notice how he was glaring at Sams cell?He was-"I was cut off by his pained whine.
It was so loud and pitchy that it made my ears hurt.I covered them with my palms and cringed as he got louder.
"Oh Liam are you okay?"Lauren asked rushing to his side grabbing his arm.
"Jadah!What has gotten in to you?!"She asked glaring at me from a far.I wasn't even listening.It felt like an outer body experience.
I watched and felt my urges leave my body,I felt mentally and physically weak,and my eyelids felt heavy.I saw Lauren's lips moving furiously but the sound just wasn't making its way to my ears.I felt Mal saying something but it sounded like he was to far away and my babies stopped kicking.
I felt my knees go out but I made enough energy to hold my stomach before I collapsed on the ground from exhaustion.
-Malachi's POV-
I rushed to my angels side after she hit the ground but that didn't stop her from protecting her belly.I turned her over and saw a big purple bruise on her forehead which on made my stomach knot tighter.
When I noticed her relaxed face and the steady rise of her chest, I calmed down.I lifted her up in my arms about to head upstairs but Liam's raspy voice stopped me.
"She's C-crazy."He gritted out while breathing heavily.In a split second I turned around to look at him.
"What do you mean she's 'crazy'."I asked gritting my teeth,trying to hold back Ryder.
"Look what....she d-did to me."He grunted out clenching his teeth from the pain.Blood was running out of his mouth and he was breathing slowly.
"Are you alright?"Lauren asked which made me roll my eyes.Despicable.She didn't even ask about her 'daughter' who she claims to love.
"Yeah,Yeah I'm alright I'll be healed up....soon."He said letting her help him stand.
I turned my attention to my sleeping angel who was still holding her stomach.She unconsciously snuggled into me which made me let out a chuckle before I kissed her forehead and started to make my way out of the basement.

I was at the top of the stairs with Lauren and Liam behind.I was heading in the direction of my office to let her sleep but Lauren's voice stopped me.
"She should go back to the safe room."She said which made me hold her tighter and growl.
"No she will stay with me."I said firmly.
She sent a small smile my way before shaking her head 'No'.
"Think about her safety.We have a war about to take place in a couple more hours and Talens looking for her so it would b-"I cut her off by my loud growl.
"Who are you to tell your alpha what to do with his mate?!You have no right or place to tell me what to do!"I growled,my thunderous voice bouncing off the walls hitting her in waves.She whimpered and lowered her head baring her neck to me in submission."She will stay and be safe with me."I said with finality.
I expected Liam to growl at me and take up for his sister but he just held an understanding look in his eyes.
I blew out a breath before I walked to my office holding on tightly to my angel.
"No one is gonna take you from me.No one."I whispered nuzzling my face in her neck.
When we came to my office I opened the doors and was headed straight for my leather chair.I heard a squeal pitchy enough to make me groan.
"Jay!"I heard the familiar childish voice and I perked up.Looking to my left I saw Gin and Kate.Gin was sitting in Jax' lap but hopped up and ran to me where she then began to bounce on her toes like a tiny show dog to get a good look at Angel in my arms.
A thousand pounds hit my head causing a sign to fly from my mouth.
"First Jadah now these two.Will her and her family ever listen?"I said exasperated,Ryker shook his head.
Focusing my attention on the anxious red head below me I asked,"Why are you two out of the safe room?"My eyes dancing between the bouncing girl under me and the nervous fiddling adolescent in front of me.Zeroing in on the trained girl still bouncing she had to get out of that room herself because she would've been with Jadah if she didn't.They trained her good.
"My sister,niece,and nephew were in trouble so I came to help but daddy caught us."She said glancing at Jax with a slight glare but gave a goofy smile at him when he gave her a stern look."Now please tell me what happened to my sister."She demanded all bouncing to a cease,hands placed firmly on her small hips,as she tapped her small foot on the floor.
"She had a fight with Liam"I jerked my head in Liam's direction.They turned to look and cringed at the sight of him."She used her powers and tired herself out,but before that she said the babies were messing with her powers."I said staring down at her acutely running her words through my head.
Jax hummed rubbing his chin his green eyes ancient and full of knowledge slowly landed on me,"Yes maybe they did,but they usually only mess with powers when they react off of their mothers emotions or they know something she doesn't."He said thinking out loud gazing at Liam who was looking down at our notes and strategies.
I thought it over and it did make sense.She did say she got weird vibes from him mayb-
"You should change your strategies."I heard Liam say his eyes still sprinting over the paper.
Everyone looked at him as if he done lost his mind.
"What do you mean change them?Those are perfectly thought out."My dad said incredulously walking over to the blue prints and outlines of the battle.We all nodded in agreement,Liam just shook his head.
"I've seen Talens plans,strategies,secret weapons,etc.He won't even be near the south side of the border.He will be up here."He said pointing to the top of our drawn map of our perimeter.
At the top near the border of the DarkKnight Pack.I looked at the map incredulously.
"I'm pretty sure Talen and his minions aren't stupid enough to pass through the deadliest packs territory.We'll stick to our original plan."I said going over to my leather chair and taking a seat.
I gazed down at my beautiful mate and kissed her forehead before I pulled her close.Like glass breaking Liam's voice cut through my ears which made me look up at him irritatedly.
"But what if he does come in through the DarkKnight Pack.Talen will cut through there I've seen his plans."We all raised our eyebrows questioningly.
"Now just how did you get that close to the inside of his hideout,look at his plans,and escape without being caught by all of those powerful wolves?"Jax asked which made me nod my head in agreement.
He rolled his eyes but I could see a bit of annoyance in his hazel eyes.
"I don't trust this guy."I said in my head.Ryder nodded his head in agreement instantly on high alert.
"Malachi watch mate."He warned patrolling around in my head checking all directions for any signs of danger.
I nodded my head physically before my eyes caught the clock on my desk.It was now 6A.M and the sun was rising.I started to feel anxious and that nagging feeling of danger wasn't helping my situation.
"Its time boy."Jax said with a stpic face that sent spine rattling chills through my body.Its time.I stiffly nodded my head squeezing Jadah in my arms.
She snuggled deeper into me making me want to stay closer to her than ever.The thought of not coming back to her and having her big doe eyes full with tears for me almost brought me to tears.I squeezed her tighter and kissed her forehead.
"Alright everyone guards say they see them marching up to the border.Everyone get prepared."Jax said with a strong and encouraging voice.
Everyone blew out some breathes before exiting my office and heading outside.The only straggler left was Liam.Feeling his gaze I looked up an eyed him suspiciously.
"Why are you still in here?Your supposed to be helping so go help."I said nodding my head towards the door.
"What are you going to do with her?"He asked watching her sleeping form,that set me and Ryder off.I instantly shielded her body,me and Ryder growled.I felt something hit my stomach.Reluctantly remove my state I looked down at Jadah's stomach and saw her belly moving.
I looked up at him and protectively held her even closer to me.
"Get ou-"I was cut off by Lauren entering my office.
"Come on Liam we need you."She said stopping to glance at us before she tugged Liam out of the room.His eyes never left me though and I could have swore I saw a smile cover his face.A malicious one that made me and Ryder bristle.
When I was sure they were gone and Ryder was a little calm I went behind my desk and lifted the rug.Under it was just a little door that I lifted up silently and climbed down,careful of my mate and pups.
When I got to the bottom I looked around.It was my own personal safe room but it's very small with just a soft bed,some rugs,bottles of water,And a mini fridge filled with food.I lit the candle that was hanging from the wall right before I went over to the bed and laid her down.
Her eyebrows scrunched together before she rested a hand on her belly and curled up in a fetal position.I smiled at my mate.This may be the last time to take in and admire her beauty.I want to remember her beautiful face,her shiny bouncy curls,her long eyelashes that kiss her eyebrows when their open,her pouty pink lips that scream kiss me,and most of all my babies.
I remembered when she didn't know she was pregnant and she climbed on the counter looking for Oreos to put in her vanilla ice cream.I laughed out loud when she was mad at me for laughing when we were watching spongebob.
Most importantly I looked back on all that we went through.I was an arrogant,mean,asshole to her when she dressed up for me on her birthday.I remember it like it was yesterday.
I was pulling up to school in my new Ferrari when I seen something on the side of the road.Then that's when her scent hit me.My mouth watered at the smell but I just continued to park my car.When I got out Kim came up to me and kissed me.Yuck.Still disgusts me to this day.I saw a girl come up to me sniffing the air,it was Jadah.She looked beautiful in her plaid dress,black wedges,and flower head band.Her legs looked so good and her lips looked so kissable,but at the time I didn't want a mate or her.I wanted to stay with the packs slut and torment people.I saw disbelief flash through her eyes before love and admiration fill them which made Ryder purr.I could feel the Love and Admiration fill mines as well before I denied my feelings and filled them with hatred and disgust.
Took everything in me to do that.She looked at me with wide eyes before I seen hurt and pain fill her big brown eyes.I remember all the mean and appalling words I said to her and I remember how she pleaded and cried to me about how wrong I was.It was the hardest thing in the world to see her drop to her knees in defeat in front of me just whispering how Bad of a mate I was.
I could've swore I heard hers and my heart break.The pain was unbearable but you could never tell because how good I hid it.But oh how the tables turned on me when she came back more beautiful from when I saw her and a complete bad ass with a little bit of sweetness in her.I was the one pleading for her to take me back but she ignored me until she said three words that changed my world forever.
"I love you."The sweetest words she said to me since she came back.
I laughed out loud before looking down at my angel.She's my angel.My joy,my life.Now she carries our pups and the love she has for me and the twins is unbelievable.
But all good things must come to an end.This moment,right now is me fighting for my angel.For her.I would die in order to keep her and my prince and princess safe,a thousand times over.
"I love you angel."I kissed her forehead,"I'll come back for you and my pups.I promise."I kissed her hand before getting off of my knees and standing up.I walked to the ladder and climbed up,but before I got to the top I glanced back at my mate one last time before getting out.
I breathed in before walking out of my office on a mission to keep the promise I have to my love.I walked down all the steps before I headed out the front door.
I see the pack huddled up and Jax talking to them.When he sees me he waves me over.
"Today we risk our lives to protect my baby girl,your Luna,and your alphas mate.Some of us may fall but we will not die cowardly we will fight to the end.Me,my brothers,my mate,my sons,and Ge-"He stopped
"Georgie go inside and take your sisters with you."Jax said exasperated with a hint of amusement in his voice which made us all chuckle.
She was about to protest but he gave her that look and she huffed before dragging Kate and Gin into the house.
He rolled his eyes chuckling a bit before clearing his throat and speaking,"We will fight brave and without fear to protect our loved ones.We will face death head on if that means we will save the ones we love."I started seeing a wave of shadows coming towards us.
"Their approaching."Someone said frantically,Jax nodded his head before facing us.
He looked us all over and when his eyes landed on me he nodded his head at me.Respect filled his eyes.I've always wanted that look.I nodded back in respect before we faced our enemies.I looked around for Liam but he wasn't there,and neither was Lauren.
"Look!"I heard someone yell pointing in front of us where the enemy was.
I seen Liam leading them but his face distorted before his appearance changed.Everyone froze except for Jadah's family and me.We all knew something was up,just not this.The once bulky man with hazel eyes,tanned skin,and a mop of curly curls was now a tall,thin,pale,blonde headed man.
He had azure evil piercing eyes,long slender limbs and a malicious smirk on his sunken face.I felt Ryder growl and claw inside me and before everyone knew it I shifted into my huge black wolf.I was about to take off towards him when Jax grabbed me by my scruff holding me back.Ryder tried running again but Jax had an iron grip on us.
"Calm down boy.He's just taunting us.He wants us to charge at him first,that's all part of his plan and you fell for the first part."He said in a calm but stone cold voice that calmed us down.
"Didn't you learn anything during training?"I heard Martin ask as he came up towards the front.
"Never fall for enemy taunting.Thats how you get killed,your supposed to wait so you know what you're dealing with."He said resting his large hand on my big shoulder.I nodded my wolf head in understanding before facing the front again noticing how close they've gotten.
When they were couple feet away he spoke,"Hello 'alpha' Malachi."He said mocking the word alpha which only pissed Ryder off more."Where's your big pregnant mate?"He taunted making everyone from my pack growl.Im pissed.How dare he speak of my mate!
Jax' and Martins' grip on my shoulder got tighter,they know I'm losing my shit here.
"Is she still in the office asleep from 'hurting me'?"He asked again taunting adding a raspy chuckle at the end.His voice is cold and sounds like nails on a chalk board.Even though it's filled with amusement there's a hint of disdain and anger in his voice.
His voice drew me from my thoughts when he said,"You know what I would love to see?........I would love to see your mates pretty little head in my hand.She'll die the same way my father did when her pathetic aunt and uncle killed him."He said smirking evilly before laughing like a hyena.
I lost it.I broke free from Jax' and Martins grip in a flash.I charged in bestial speed to Talen before I gripped his shoulder and slammed him into the ground.I pulled and was about to rip his arm off but I felt a thousand volts of electricity enter my body.
I whined as a thousand knives stabbed my body.Millions did it felt like a century before I let him go.I got off the ground twitching from the electric activity playing in my body before I shook my head and fur out.
"Malachi turn around!"I heard Jax yell,I turned a little to late though.
