I watched as my daughter and her mate left me and my weeping family in the hospital room.My heart aches when I think about all the pain my baby girl must've felt or went through because we weren't there for her.Of course we loved her and still do but I guess she doesn't think so.Jadah is our baby.Our youngest and secretly our favorite but we lost her.Too weak to protect our own pup.Do you know how hard it was not to jump in and tear those alphas limb from limb?I wanted to jump in and help her but we would have gotten hurt ourselves and I guess my love for Jadah wasn't strong enough to move me.
Now Jadah has a real family.As much as I hate to admit it,their better parents to her than we are,well were.They love Jadah and will kill anyone who tries to harm a hair on her pretty little head.The way they act together and love each other is something me and Larry wish we had.Larry,the kids,and I aren't as close like we used to be.Leila is a moping down hearted mess,Lucas pays for his mistakes all the time with his mate the smart ass black haired girl,and Leo is a confused puppy.
He doesn't know how to feel.He's jealous,then he misses her,then he's moping around,then he's just blank.Like a fresh canvas.He's a follower,only going off what we feel.And Larry,my poor Larry hurts all the time when he sees her call Alpha Jax dad,or daddy.He hurts the most when he sees their bond,him and Jadah had something similar to that but all of that went down the drain on her sixteenth birthday.
I wiped my wet tear stained face and looked over my family.Larry had tears silently coming from his puffy blue eyes,Leila still had her head lowered crying,and the boys were crying as well but I see the most pain in Leila.Now Jadah and Leila weren't as close like Jadah and Lucas were,but they did have a strong bond.They loved each other,Jadah looked up to Leila but now they can't be in the same room together without Jadah or Georgia wanting to rip her head from her neck.
It's sad that they used to be together 24/7 and now Jadah hates her.Leila wants Jadah back but Jadahs walls are to high to climb over or break down.
I sniffed from my now runny nose before I stood up.I pulled Larry to his feet and grasped his face in my hands,
"She still loves us,she said it but we are not her family anymore."I choked back my sobs before sighing,"I know it hurts like hell for me to say that but she now has people who actually care for her."I wiped away his tears with my thumb trying not to let my kids sobs break me down right here,"We hurt her more than anything,or anyone ever could."I whispered the end feeling a scream bubble in my chest.I looked back up and saw him crying more and biting his lip so he doesn't scream as well.
"We can let her go but I wont give up on her.In order to get closure I need her forgiveness,I need a cleared conscious and her forgiveness is going to get me that.I want to be in those babies lives,even if they don't acknowledge me as their grandmother.I think we should finally give her the answers she wanted."I let go of his face and pulled him to his feet.
"Stay strong guys,we just have to earn her trust and forgiveness."I said with a confident smile.My kids looked up at me with hopeful eyes and big smiles.
Larry looked just as happy with a smile on his face even though it didn't seem to reach his ears.My smile dropped too,one big thing I forgot.
Jax and Sophia.
We can't within a 5in radius of her or they'll be on us like white on rice.Maybe we should talk to them,but first I need to make a few phone calls.
I'm gonna get my baby back.
-Mal's POV-
I was holding angel in my arms as I walked to the pack house.Her baby bump was bigger than last time bringing a smile to my face each and every time I see it.I've gotten stronger since she's been out.Martin,and Levi have been killing us with workouts everyday and it gets harder each time.While she was in the hospital,I was out side running the pack.I've been so stressed lately.
I had to set back the meeting date for the DarkMoon Pack since Jadah was in the hospital.They still agreed to accompany us in battle which we still have no date to but always expect the unexpected.Martin taught me that.
Jax and my dad have been coming up with battle strategies,and finding out more about Talen.Like how he's been recruiting wolves in the area to fight with him in battle,or if their special wolves like Jadah he strips them of their powers and kill them.I think it's pretty sick if you ask me.He's also been sending these damn threats still,and to keep my angel calm I didn't tell her about it.
My grip tightened on her like a boa constrictor I would never hurt my angel.I never break promises,always stand behind my word.I will protect my kids and my future wife,they are mine and no one else will take them from me.
I walked into the house and like lightning angel jumped out of my arms and sped walked into the kitchen holding her stomach.A smile broke out on my face,I always want to see her carrying my pups,our pups.I walked into the kitchen after her and saw her in the fridge digging around for food.I chuckled and went to stand behind her as she continued to dig in the fridge,she didn't even notice I was behind her.
"Angel?"I laughed out but she continued digging in the fridge until she came back out with some left over Chinese food.
She squealed in victory before she turned around and bumped right into my chest.
She rubbed her forehead,"Hey watch where the hell your goin-"She stopped talking when she seen me.A big smile covered her face,
"Hey Mal."She greeted before she stood up on her tippy toes and pecked my lips,then she danced around me and to the microwave.
I shook my head in amusement before padding over to her,she was impatiently dancing in her spot waiting for the ding of the microwave.
"Babe,we need to see Dr.Sylvia okay."I said but she nodded her head right before getting out her Chinese food and sauntering past me to the counter.
"Right after I eat.Im starving!"She shouted,before groaning in pleasure and throwing her head back when the first piece of chicken hit her taste buds.I felt my soldier stand at attention when she did that,even being pregnant she's still sexy.
I waited for her to get finished eating before handing a bottle of water to her and grabbing her hand before heading to the front door but she stopped.
"Mal I've been in the hospital for a week.I stink and I want to see the girls,come on."She stated pulling me with such force I lost my footing.
She headed to the living room where all the kids were playing.She stopped in the door way before shouting,
"Kids!"All the kids heads snapped in her direction before they all smiled and ran towards her.She bent down and wrapped her arms around them before she rained kisses on their chubby faces.
Annabel and Sarah were the first to receive their hugs and kisses then Gin and Kate.I smiled at the sight,I can't wait for the pups to be born and see them interact with their mother.
After their hugs and kisses she grabbed my hand and dragged me up stairs to our room.When she got to the door she wasted no time to slam it open and run to the bed.
She wrapped herself in a burrito of covers before sighing in pleasure,"It's good to be back home."I smiled at her but then she went serious,
"Mal what about the babies?We can't raise the girls and our babies in a pack house."She said sitting up and crossing her legs Indian style before she rested her hands on her stomach.
I walked over to the bed before sitting beside her and taking one of her soft,and delicate hands into my own."You're right,I'll have us a house made to bring the babies into.But for right now you need to shower so we can see Dr.Sylvia."I said pecking her lips before pulling her to her feet.
I wrapped my arms around her,and pulled her closer to me before placing my head in the crook of her neck.I inhaled loudly savoring her Honey,and Jasmines scent.Letting it relax my endeavored body.
Words can't explain how much I missed her,"I missed you so much baby."I whispered placing a gentle kiss on her mark,loving the way she shivered.
Her arms went around my waist and her head went on my chest,"I missed you so much more,I love you."She said filling me with warmth.God I missed her voice and especially those words coming from her.
"Still more than your Chinese food?"I questioned lighting the mood up,her euphonious laughter filled the room bringing a smile to my face.
"Yes Mal,more than my Chinese food."She replied,"More than anything else in this world."She whispered the end before pulling back.
"Now come on,I need a bath."She said scrunching her face up when she smelled herself.I chuckled before letting her lead us into the bathroom.
My baby is back.
~Jadahs POV~
I lead Mal into the bathroom before I walked over to the shower.I turned the water to warm before I stripped out of this stupid,stinky,chemical smelling hospital gown and stepped into the shower.Mal was right behind me but I beat him to the water.I was already letting the water run over my head and down my back and body,I was raking my hand through my tangled mess of curls while the other was rubbing my tummy.
Mal's hands went to my waist and to my stomach where they rested there.He took the shampoo and conditioner and lathered my hair in it,massaging and scrubbing my scalp.When he was finished I rinsed my hair and let him wash my body before I washed his hair and his body.
When we were done,again he headed out first and got our towels before he came back in and wrapped me in a fluffy red one.We walked to the closet and I threw on a teal t-shirt dress,and some gold flats.I pulled my hair into a ponytail,and grabbed Mal's hand so we could leave.
We were at the top of the steps but he stopped and picked me up.I wrapped my arms around his neck as he walked very slowly down the steps,when he spoke,
"So I rescheduled the meeting with the DarkMoon Pack."He said which only filled me with guilt,
"Sorry,maybe if I would've went easier on myself they would be here."I apologized but he just pecked my forehead.
"Don't be.Your health and you period is all that matters.Now that you know the consequences your actions have,you need to be careful."He scolded sounding like dad.I rolled my eyes,
"Yes sir."I replied with a snort which made him growl playfully.
My hand went to my stomach as my thoughts drifted to Talen.How much has happened since I was out?Were there more threats?Did he give us a date?I looked up at Mal ready to question him but he was already looking down at me with a knowing look.
"Yes there has been more threats but that is all you need to know."He said in a rigid voice,that almost made me bite my tongue but I want answers.
"What do you mean that's all I need to know?Did he give us a date on this war?What has he recently said about us,or the pack?"I was firing questions his way,I sat up in his arms and looked dead at his face.
"None of your business angel."His voice was huskies and and more clipped but did he really just tell me that it's none of my business?
I glared at him my hardest,"What do you mean it's none of my business.Its my business as much as its yours,I need to know what he has said about me and my babies.Hell our babies!I just need to know,we're in this together.You,me and the whole pack.Mal please tell me."I pleaded,he stopped at the bottom of the steps looking away from me.His jaw was tight and ticked like a clock.
I grabbed his chin gently and directed his face to mine,"Please Mal."I begged in a soft but firm voice.His eyes softened before he sighed defeatedly.
"Fine,just after your check up."He said looking into my eyes with out a single trace of dishonesty in his eyes.
I smiled big before kissing his lips,"Okay now come on,"He said carrying me to the front door,"Your good.I'd give you an Oscar for that performance."He said which made me laugh,
"Thank you number one fan,but I was serious.We're in this together Mal."I said and he smiled at me.
We were almost out the door when we were stopped by my family,"Where are y'all going?"We turned and saw Mom,and dad standing across from us with their arms crossed.
"Hi mom,and dad.But I was in my way to get a check up."I answered with a smile.
I covered my ears when her shrilled squeal pierced the air,"Jadah's getting a check up!"She yelled to the rest of the family.
I uncovered my now ringing ears,"Jesus mom."I groaned,Mal grunted making her wave us off with her hand.
I heard a herd of footsteps run to the front door.The boys,my girls,Georgie,Gin,Kate,Martin,and Levi were all here.They had their shoes on and we're all ready.How is 9 tall bulky men,4 little kids,and 3 women gonna fit in a tiny Doctors office?!
I gaped at them,"You didn't think you were going to this check up alone did you?My little niece or nephew is in there."She said pointing to my stomach.Niece,and Nephew.
I rubbed my tummy and smiled at my family,my family is tough but they have the biggest soft spot for me and for each other.
I nodded my head and soon we all were headed to the hospital.

Now we were at the hospital and we were walking to the back where Dr.Sylvias office.We ignored the bows of the head and went straight back.
Mal opened the door and Dr.Sylvia was already waiting for us with the machines set up.Everyone entered the room and stood around us as I got more comfortable on Mal's lap.
"Hello Alpha,Jadah,and family."We greeted her with hellos and nods.
All the girls came to my side,Gin and Kate were holding my left hand and my girls were holding my right.They all looked adorable in their little outfits with their Jordan's.I smiled at them before looking at Dr.Sylvia.She was at her desk getting the packets of gel,when she turned around she was pulling on her blue rubber gloves.
She stopped in front of me and smiled,"Okay Jadah pull your shirt up for me."She said,I nodded before pulling my shirt up.Martin was all giddy behind me,bouncing his legs in anticipation.
I rubbed his knee which thankfully stopped his shaking.I was brought out of my thought when the freezing cold death gel touched my bare stomach.I jumped which made everyone laugh,I rolled my eyes but laughed anyways.
Georgie and mom came up beside me as well smiling at me.I faced the doctor who was rubbing the stick thingy on my stomach.We all faced the screen,I smiled when I heard their little heart beats.Then something popped up on the screen,
"Ah,that right there is your baby..."She moved the stick around my stomach again,"Your strong son."Everyone cheered behind us including Mal who yelled.
"I have a son!"He yelled making me laugh,
"We have a nephew!"The boys yelled,high giving each other.I laughed at them,oh it's another one in there.Grandma Vega said so.
"Oh my god!"Dr.Sylvia yelled making everyone's head snap to hers.Her mouth was wide open but I started laughing and smiling.
"My baby girl is in there!"I shouted astonished,gazing lovingly at the little person on the screen who was huddled near her brother.They developed pretty fast.
Everyone was looking at me in shock,with puzzled faces."Your saying you knew you were having twins?"Georgie asked,and I nodded still never taking my eyes off of my little princess.
"The book was right then."Jax said staring at me,I nodded slowly removing my eyes from the screen.
"Yes,but I knew it was gonna be a boy and girl."I whispered smiling just thinking about my beautiful grandmother.
"How did you know,and what book?"Georgie asked frustratedly and Jax was the first to speak up.
"It's the book of werewolf history,but you've heard of the Vega and Vincent story right?"He asked and she nodded her head,
"Of course but what does that have to do with Jay?"She asked,
"Well she's the great,great grand daughter of her and Vincent."He answered and her eyes widened before she started connecting the dots.
"So your repeating the history,and supposed to be defeating Talen.Thats who's been sending the threats,and why Martin and Levi has been killing everyone in training."She said and we all nodded,
"Well that bastards not gonna touch you or my nieces and nephew."She said strongly.Shes gonna be a kick ass beta female.I smiled at her adoringly before covering my ears,
"I have a Niece!"She yelled and started dancing around then another shrill scream filled the room,
"And I'm gonna be a grandma!"Mom yelled dancing around near Jax,I laughed and smiled again at the screen.
"Our prince,and little princess is in there."Mal whispered in my ear,and hugged me close to him.
"Yes they are and we will get through this together okay?"I asked,and he replied with a kiss to the forehead.
"Yes Luna that is indeed your daughter."Dr.Sylvia said astonished.I looked back towards the screen and seen my little baby girl huddled under her brother.I smiled at the sight,they'll be closer than I ever was with my old siblings.
I'll protect them and love them to bits.My babies won't ever feel unwanted or unloved,never by their parents.
"I have a niece?"I looked down and seen Gin staring intently at the screen with her hand on my baby girl.
I smiled,"Yes,and nephew."I replied still smiling like a weirdo.
"Cool.I'm gonna be her favorite."She said smirking and folding her arms in a sassy way.
"Not if we can help it."Tyler butt in.I rolled my eyes at them and faced the doctor.
"Thanks Dr.Sylvia."I said smiling gratefully at her as she wiped the gel from my stomach.
"No problem Jadah,but since the babies have alpha blood in them,they'll mature much faster than an average child."She said throwing away the wipe and removing her gloves,
I looked at her confused,"So they come early?"I asked,
She nodded,"Yup their usually born when the mother is 3months pregnant."My jaw dropped,that's crazy.
I pulled my shirt down and got out of Mal's lap.I took his hand and we began walking out.
"I'm a grandfather."Jax whispered,
"We're uncles."Levi and Martin said at the same time,I smiled at them.
"And we're parents."I said gazing at my belly.
