I sat in class slapping my pen against my leg, along with me yawning. The teacher was just going on and on. I usually didn't even like to go to class cause I could just read it online or some shit.
But sometimes I went because I wanted to feel like I was in college for a reason idk. I got on my phone and started scrolling cause the teacher wasn't talking bout shit.
I scrolled on Instagram for a minute until kai texted me.

I didn't even reply to his message, because the teacher let us out of class. As I walked out of class I then FaceTimed him.
"ok so what's up wit this fucking chicken??" I asked and he just shrugged
"I feel like personally big booty bitches- nigga hush" I heard Duke say sum in the background
"You at my house?" I asked and he nodded
"mm, ok I'm on my way" I mumbled
"alright I'll see you when you get here" he said and I hung up.

"niggas be-" all my brothers friends stopped as I walked inside the house
"uh hey" I mumbled
I put my bag down and I looked at them all, niggas was just sitting on the couch like they live here. Kai looked like he was bored as fuck.
"where's momma and dad?" I asked Duke
"they doing sum" he shrugged and I nodded as I walked past them and into the kitchen. I walked into the pantry and I grabbed some chips and I was so hungry I opened them and started eating them in the pantry.
When I turned around kai was just sitting there looking at me "ok" I mumbled And then I put a chip in his mouth.
"All these damn niggas in here" I mumbled looking at them all on the couch, as I heard him crunch on that chip
"you stink" I joked looking over at kai
"and you have no edges but I never said anything about that"
"wow" I mumbled feeling my hair
"I'm just playing, my bad" he said and I shook my head
"apology not accepted" I stuck my middle finger up and he bit my finger
"oww kai" I laughed cause I wasn't expecting him

"fuck you and that damn sorry" I said walking off and he grabbed me by my neck and put me in a chokehold but he wasn't even holding that tight.
"Accept my apologies" he frowned, still keeping me in a chokehold
"I accept kai" I mumbled
"yeah, that's what I thought" he mumbled taking his arm from around me.
"Oh hush"
"where you going" he frowned, and I just pointed to upstairs as I walked up them. I went into my room and then I heard him come in behind me and lay on my bed.
I went into my bathroom and changed out of my outside clothes and into something more comfortable. Which it was just some black tights and a hoodie, I liked to sleep in hoodies I don't know why.
"you look hot" He said and I stuck my tongue out tryna be funny
"not that type of hot" he said making both of us laugh
"I really wanna go shopping" I mumbled laying down beside him
"let's go then" he said
"nigga I just changed and everything"
"if you don't just put your crocs on" he said and I shrugged
"Hold on at least let me put on some jeans" I mumbled and he nodded, I went and looked and looked for my favorite jeans but I couldn't find them so I just ended up putting on some black shorts
I came back in the room, sprayed my perfume, and then slipped my converse on. the whole time I ran back in forth getting dressed he just sat there laughing at me

We had finally made it to the mall and we was just walking together. And I looked up and seen the croc store.
"Ouuu let's get matching crocs" I said looking at the crocs
"mmcht no"
"yes"
"no soriah"
"yes kai"
"what color you want" he asked looking irritated, but I knew eventually he would give in, which he did.
"let's do green" I mumbled and he nodded
"thought you was gone pick a girly ass color" he said and I shook my head no
"I'll pay for mine- nah I got it" he said cutting me off
"I really need something to wear to the anniversary party" I frowned
"mmcht all them clothes you fucking got"
"why are you looking at how many clothes I got weirdo" I rolled my eyes
"yeah ight" he swiped his card and payed for the crocs
"what you gone wear to it?" He asked and I shrugged
I grabbed the bag that had the crocs inside and we walked out the store, we walked around until we heard "oh kai" we both turned around to see Mia.
He stood there just looking her up and down. He had a pure disgust face as he looked at her. I started to get uncomfortable cause we was just in silence. I started to laugh under my breath because this whole situation was awkward and I didn't know what else to do.
"why are y'all together.." she said holding her purse, kai looked at her for a moment longer before he walked off. Just leaving me there, I jogged back up to him and I could tell he was mad as fuck
