Chapter 11: Finding my wings by beauty🪽

I just writeWords: 1325

Time and time again,

I have tried, I have wondered.

My mind spirals in infinite circles,

Thinking about where I fit in, Longing to feel accepted.

Just this once, I want to know:

Where is the reassurance, the sympathy, the pity

-anything

To appease my troubled mind?

But I know the Lord has something in store for me, Beyond my greatest desires, goals, and ambitions.

Therefore, I rest on James 1:5, which tells us to ask God for wisdom during hard times.

God knows there are indeed hard times behind and ahead of us,

But I claim the spirit of wisdom,

For even though I walk through the shadows of death, I will fear no evil.

So, who says God has forsaken me? He surely did not.

Philippians 4:13 reassures us as a whole congregation:

"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."

I look to Him for my strength to be renewed each day,

And my courage to be restored each time by the author and finisher of our faith.

Arise, oh worshipper within me, and be unleashed!

Let a sound of praise roar like thunder, Brightening the darkness of night.

As the melodies rise from deep within my heart, Let them ascend as a sweet fragrance before my Lord.

So I can become as free and beautiful as the butterfly's life cycle -

Cocooned in hardship, but flying in praise.

Oh, what joy it is to be free at last and have Christ withinn.
