Raphael POV âWho is this?â - I ask looking at the photo. I know she said Gabriel but what the fuck.
âTuo figlioâ - she says (your son)
It takes me a couple of seconds to react to this news. But is it the fucking year of letâs have kids with Raphael? How is it possible? First Tammy, then Olivia and now Alex? How the fuck. This could become a book or a film and no one would doubt it was possible. But in real life, itâs too messed up.
I have three kids with three different women. I know I was a fuck boy but this is ridiculous. As if she was reading my mind.
âIt was the night of the pool partyâ - she says I try and remember the pool party but everything is fuzzy about that night. I canât remember a lot. There were alcohol and drugs involved. I was younger and stupid.
I shake my head and I look to her face and thatâs when I see it. She wants something. I would give her anything she wants but she will have to let me meet my son.

âI need moneyâ - she says âHow much?â
âJust to put Gabriel in private schoolâ - she says and I nod my head looking at the photo.
âWho knows he is my son?â
âOnly your cousinâ - she says and I lift my eyes looking at her âGabriel knows?â - I ask Alex nods her head and looks to the floor âHe is Gabeâs godfatherâ - she says âFuckâ - I let out âGabriel has given us money but he expects me to do some stuff for him. l and I donât want to anymoreâ
âWhat stuff?â - I ask her âI became his spyâ - she says âHow?â
âWhenever thereâs a man he needs information from I to seduce him, have sex with him and extract the information â - she says and my eyes are wide opened.
âWho takes care of your son when you are doing this?â - I ask âMy motherâ - she says and I shake my head âIâll set up a bank account for him with a trust fund and another one for you, you will never need to work ever againâ - I tell her âNo, please. Not for meâ - she says âWhy not?â
âI donât want your money, and if it wasnât for me trying to get away from your cousin you wouldâve never found out about Gabeâ - she says and anger takes over me.
âAre you fucking serious right now?â
Alex shakes her head and looks me in the eyes.
âWe were a mistake togetherâ - she says and I canât help but agree with her.
âI want you to move to New York with Gabe when I go backâ - I tell her âNoâ - she says âAlex you either come with me or I will fight you in court and trust me when I say I will winâ - I tell her now standing up.
I grab my phone and message Joseph.
âCome to the hotel reception ASAPâ
âRaphael I beg youâ - she says âAlexâ - I say walking closer to her and my hands touching her face making her look at me.
âI will never hurt you or my son, but I need him where I can protect himâ - I tell her I can see tears streaming down Alexâs face and I understand what itâs happening. She is trying to get away from one mafia boss to go for another. The difference is that I am not making her work. She will have the life she always dreamed of. Money, luxury and our son.
Joseph arrives not long after and I can see the looks confused to see me hugging Alex.
âRaphael?â - he says taking one step closer.
âJoseph this is Alex, an old friendâ - I introduce them.
âNice to meet youâ - Joseph says âHelloâ - she replies âJoseph I need you to get two men to follow her home and keep her and her son under surveillance until further noticeâ - I say âSure bossâ - Joseph says grabbing his phone and making phone calls to get security for them.
âThis is not what I wantedâ - she says âI know. But if he is my son this is how itâs going to beâ - I tell her Alex nods her head and curls up against me into my arms.
I kiss the top of her head and I can hear Olivia behind me.
âThatâs whatâs so important?â - she says looking at me with anger in her eyes.
âOliviaâ - I say taking one step closer to her âDonâtâ - she says making me stop âThis is not what you are thinkingâ
âOne thing was for you to come home drunk out of your ass smelling like a slut. Another thing is you do it on your birthday with me in the same building â
âWhat?â - I ask not believing what she is saying. Does she think that I cheated on her?
âI would neverâ - I say taking one step closer to her âDonât follow meâ - Olivia says but I canât stop myself and I get a hold of her wrist pulling her towards my chest. I hug her tight and I can feel her trying to push me away âSheâs just a friendâ - I tell Olivia in a whisper âDonât you lie to meâ - she says now punching my chest.
âOlivia, I will explain everything later. Stop making a fucking sceneâ - I tell her and thatâs when Olivia snaps and slaps me in the face turning on her heels and walking away from me.
I look at Alex and Joseph.
âGo after herâ - Alex says and Joseph nods.
