Chapter 21: Daily Life with Aryan

Male Girlfriend1,368 words~7 min read

The soft hum of traffic echoed outside as Reena settled into the passenger seat of Aryan’s sleek black car. The leather interior still smelled new, a luxury Ravi had never imagined experiencing. Aryan adjusted his sunglasses and turned to her with a smile. “Ready for another day of adventure, Reena?”

Reena nodded, her practiced smile in place. “Always.”

The truth was, every day with Aryan felt like walking a tightrope. Ravi had grown used to the constant vigilance, the mental checklist that never left his mind—voice, posture, gestures. One slip, and everything could crumble. Yet, as the days went by, the act of being Reena had become almost second nature, an armor he wore with increasing ease.

Morning Routine at Aryan’s House

Their first stop was Aryan’s home. Mrs. Kapoor had invited Reena for breakfast, a regular occurrence now. As they walked through the sprawling gates, Ravi marveled at the opulence that had become part of his life. The manicured lawns, the grand facade—it all screamed wealth and power.

Mrs. Kapoor greeted them at the door, her eyes scanning Reena from head to toe. “Good morning, beta. You look lovely, as always.”

“Thank you, aunty,” Reena replied, lowering her gaze demurely. It was all part of the act, one that Mrs. Kapoor seemed to appreciate more with each passing day.

Breakfast was served in the sunlit dining room, an array of dishes laid out like a feast. Aryan piled his plate high, grinning at Reena. “You have to try the aloo paratha. It’s the best.”

Reena took a small bite, careful to maintain the delicate eating habits she had adopted. “It’s delicious,” she said, forcing enthusiasm into her voice.

Mrs. Kapoor watched them with a smile, clearly pleased. “Aryan, you should take Reena out more often. She brings out the best in you.”

Aryan laughed. “That’s the plan, Mom.”

Reena’s smile faltered for a moment. Each compliment, each word of praise, felt like a stone added to the weight on his shoulders.

A Day Out

After breakfast, Aryan insisted on taking Reena shopping. The mall was a labyrinth of high-end stores, each more opulent than the last. Ravi’s heart sank as he followed Aryan from one boutique to another, the strain of maintaining the act growing with each passing moment.

In a designer store, Aryan held up a dress, a soft lavender creation that looked like it belonged on a runway. “This would look amazing on you,” he said, his eyes shining.

Reena forced a smile. “It’s beautiful.”

Aryan’s gaze softened. “You know, Reena, I feel like I can really be myself around you. You understand me.”

The words hit Ravi harder than they should have. He nodded, struggling to find the right response. “I… I’m glad, Aryan.”

They walked hand-in-hand through the mall, Aryan chatting about his plans, his dreams. Reena listened, nodding at the right moments, offering encouragement. It was exhausting, this constant performance. But the money—the money made it worth it. At least, that’s what Ravi told himself.

Evening Conversations

Back at Aryan’s house, they settled on the couch, a movie playing in the background. Aryan’s arm was draped casually around Reena’s shoulders, his presence both comforting and suffocating.

“Do you ever think about the future, Reena?” Aryan asked suddenly, his voice soft.

Reena’s heart skipped a beat. “The future? Our future!”

Ravi swallowed hard. “I… I guess I haven’t thought that far ahead.”

“Hey, Aryan,” Reena said, a playful tone in her voice.

Aryan looked up, arching an eyebrow. “What’s up?”

“Remember the lavender dress you bought for me today?” she asked casually.

“Of course, I remember. It was stunning, and I can’t wait to see it on you. What’s the matter, you don’t like it?” He leaned forward, looking concerned.

Reena quickly shook her head. “No, no, I love it. But, there’s one little problem. I think it’d look way better on you, honestly.”

Aryan blinked, clearly confused. “Wait… what?”

She giggled, clearly enjoying the moment. “I think you should try it on. It’ll look amazing on you, trust me.”

Aryan’s expression was a mixture of confusion and amusement. “You’re joking, right? I bought it for you, Reena.”

“I know, but seriously,” Reena said, leaning closer with a sly grin, “I’m sure you’d look fantastic. Plus, it’ll give me some time to relax and have a bit of a break.”

He looked at her, unsure for a moment. “I don’t know, this feels kind of weird… I mean, it’s for you.”

“Come on, Aryan,” Reena teased, her voice smooth and coaxing. “It’ll be fun. You’ll be the best-looking person in the room. Just think about it, you’ll be the star of the night!”

He hesitated but finally shrugged, laughing. “Alright, alright, I’ll do it. Just don’t tell anyone, okay? This is already pretty ridiculous.”

Reena grinned wider. “Of course, you’ll be my secret model,” she said, sending him off toward the bathroom.

Aryan walked to the bathroom, his steps slow, a mixture of nerves and curiosity. Reena was left standing in the room, biting her lip to hold back her laughter. As soon as the bathroom door clicked shut, she plopped onto the bed, her stomach bubbling with excitement.

A few minutes later, the door creaked open, and Aryan stepped out, his face a mixture of confusion and amusement as he looked at himself in the mirror. The lavender dress, flowing gracefully around his frame, was undeniably elegant.

Reena couldn’t hold it in anymore. She burst out laughing, clutching her stomach. Aryan stood there, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment, staring at her with a playful glare.

“You look... stunning,” Reena managed to say between giggles. “I didn’t think it would fit so perfectly! I wish I had a wig.”

Aryan glanced down at the dress, adjusting it awkwardly. “I feel ridiculous, Reena. This is not what I signed up for.” But even through his protests, a smile tugged at his lips, and it was hard to deny how good he looked.

Reena wiped away a tear of laughter, still holding her stomach. “Come on, you’re actually pulling it off. It suits you!”

“Right. Perfect for my next fashion show,” Aryan quipped, his tone sarcastic but still amused. “I can’t believe I let you talk me into this.”

"There is just one thing missing," Reena said. She gave him a lip lock kiss so that Aryan's lips get colored with her lipstick. One more thing Ravi accustomed too.. kissing Aryan.

But as Aryan fumbled with the dress, adjusting it nervously, Reena saw how easily he took the situation in stride. There was something comforting about it, and for a moment, the two of them were just two people sharing a private joke. It was a small victory, a moment of lightness in a situation that often weighed heavily on both of them. Ravi thought Aryan gets to get his medicine and laugh internally further exciting Aryan sexually.

Reena smirked, unable to resist. “Hey, maybe you should wear this to the next party. I’m sure everyone would be amazed.”

Aryan rolled his eyes. “Yeah, sure, I’ll make it the highlight of the night.” But then, he looked at her with a sincere smile. “You really know how to make me laugh, Reena. I’ll give you that.”

They both collapsed onto the bed, their laughter filling the room. It was a small moment of respite, but one that felt good—like they could both forget, just for a little while, the complicated game they were playing.

Eventually, the laughter died down, but the warmth of the moment lingered in the air. Aryan stood up from the bed, carefully unzipping the dress. “Alright, I think it’s time I get out of this. Maybe I’ll save it for another day.”

Reena gave him a playful wink. “You’re always welcome to try it again later.”

He shook his head, still smiling. “Noted. But next time, you might need to find me a suit, not a dress.”

Reena laughed softly as he changed back into his clothes. She watched him, thinking about how strange and complicated everything had become, but for now, she could at least enjoy moments like this—moments where they were just two people, laughing together.
