Oh boy!

A lot has happened on this website this month.

Three weeks ago, the site crashed while I was tinkering with it.

The only thing a potato like me can do is restore the site using my backup files, and lo and behold! My backup file was missing a month of data, so I had to recreate more than 90 chapters.

The main problem was what happened next. According to Google, because I don’t have anymore data in my website that indicates that I posted the 90 chapters first, In google’s eyes, I plagiarized some unknown novel aggregator websites.

Fortunately, my ad network mediated and I received only one of three strikes.

I thought I couldn’t run any more ads, so I downgraded my site to the most basic package to save cost, and the aggregator sites struck again!!!!

When I downgraded my site, I didn’t know that bandwidth was a thing. I was notified by my hosting provider that I had reached my traffic limit.

I blame the aggregator websites for this because I only have 800+ users per day but have 35,000+ page views per day.

That doesn’t make any sense!!!

Anyway, I’m grumbling because, unlike before, I’m now a one-man team. And the three new translators I hired are not dedicated enough.

I think 2 ongoing stories on this site are enough and the rest will be paywalled.
