Sorayaâs POV:
âHey, just because I'm pale doesnât mean I never go outside.â I stated, trying to defend my poor, defenceless, pale white stomach.
âYou sure?â Wilbur asked.
âHow else am I supposed to be this damn skinny if I never go outside, Will?â I asked.
âDude, I'm a fellow red head and even I'm not that pale.â Willow stated.
âShut up Will.â I stated. Yeah, I call Willow and Wilbur âWillâ. What of it? They always know which one I'm talking too so itâs all good. (A/N: to make it easier for you guys to know which one, Iâll do âWilburâ as âWilâ and âWillowâ as âWillâ. Double âlâ for Willow, single âlâ for Wilbur because thatâs the amount of âlâs in their names.)
âHey look, Alistairâs coming over here.â Willow whispered excitedly.
âWhy are you so excited?â I asked in the same hushed tone.
âBecause heâs damn hot. Look at that piece of perfection.â She said, her eyes wandering up and down his body.
âHeâs not too bad.â I said a little off as I saw Ashton leaning against a locker and watching me as Alistair walked towards my group.
âNot too bad? Are you shitting yourself?â she whisper-shouted.
âSeen better.â I explained.
âDamn you must have been fucken hallucinating.â She stated as Alistair finally finished his walk over to us. Now all of the guys had somehow disappeared and it was only me and Willow with this douche-bag.
âHey, Willow right?â He asked, looking at Will.
âYeahâ¦â she trailed off. Oh god this girl couldnât talk to guys if her life depended on it. I went to leave her in this awkward conversation as payback for walking away when I tripped over, but I was stopped from completing my brilliant plan as Alistair said my name.
âSoraya, I actually came to talk to you.â When I turned back around Willâs face had dropped.
âWhat?â I snapped, obviously pissed off that I couldnât just go and eat the chips and gravy that have been calling my name since I skipped breakfast this morning.
âI was wondering⦠since I'm shit at Spanish and youâre pretty good at it-â
ââPretty good at itâ is an understatement sweetie, but continue anyway.â I cut him off.
âUh, wellâ¦â he trailed off while rubbing the back of his neck before he shot a quick glance back to Ashton and back to me. I looked at Ashton with a questioning look, but he only laughed. âI was just wondering if you could tutor me maybe?â
âOf course I can tutor you. Anything to help a fellow idiot.â I stated.
âSo is that a âyesâ or a ânoâ?â he asked, confused with what I had answered with.
âYeah, Iâll help you out.â I responded in an easy to understand way.
âCool. I was also wondering if you would like to go with me to a party on Saturday.â He stated.
âWhy?â I asked, now I was the one that was confused.
âYou could be my date.â He cleared it up for me, and with that I tried not to laugh.
âSorry sweetie, but youâreâ¦â I trailed off trying to find the right words. âNot my type.â I came up with. I had a weird look on my face as I questioned what I had just said.
âWhat?â he asked, having a similar expression to my own.
âI donât like you in that wayâ¦â I nearly said that in a questioning tone.
âYou what?â how else did I need to put this in a way he would understand?
âLetâs put this simply for you, I would rather fuck a pig than fuck you.â He should understand that. Guessing from his expression I would say that he did. Should have known that saying something that way would be easier for his little brain to comprehend. I didnât realize that Ashton had been walking past us when I said that, but as he started to laugh hysterically I realized he must have heard me.
âYou would rather what?â Poor lad, Alistair mustnât be turned down too often.
âI'm not going to be your girlfriend or anything like that. Iâll help you get skilled at Espanol but I sure as hell ainât doing anymore with you.â I said, before turning to walk away.
âBut⦠butâ¦â the poor boy was struggling for words. âAshton wasnât getting in my wayâ¦â he trailed off.
âWhat? How does this have anything to do with Ass?â I asked him, his face became pale in response. âAlistair?â
âYou say anything and the deals off.â Ashton said bluntly as he snapped out of his hysterics.
âWhy would you get in the way of him asking me out?â I asked, genuinely confused.
âUrg, I always get the hot girls, and he wanted you. I decided I could give up one of my future girls for my friend.â Ass responded bluntly, and I'm pretty sure I just hated him a few thousand more times than originally thought.
âYou wanna know something?â I asked rhetorically. âYou wouldnât have gotten me anyway.â I stated, turning to walk away.
âWhy would that be Ray?â Ass asked.
âBecause I'm not one of your call girls.â I said, before I leant in close to him. âYou'd have to be damn lucky to have me.â
Ashtonâs POV:
âDude, seriously, no not possibleâ Alistair spoke up and I laughed,
âIt is possible and Iâm beating your sorry assâ I mocked just as I maneuverer my digital character into the perfect position to deliver the final kill shot.
âUrgâ He groaned, sliding down the beanbag chair and onto the floor in defeat.
âAlistair man, you should know youâve got no hope again him, gaming is like his second lifeâ Xavier spoke up from his position on the couch with a bowl of chips, âwhy do you think we get all the girlsâ he joked with a wink and they both burst out laughing
âYeah yeah, keep tellin yourselves that but we all know I win at bothâ I boasted with a giant grin, âbut donât worry, Iâll let you guys have some actionâ
âPfft, whatever you sayâ Alistair chuckled
âHey speaking of girls, what do you guys think of the new girl?â Xavier piped up,
âSheâs pretty fine, if I do say so myselfâ Alistair smirked, âWouldnât mind me a slice of that cakeâ
âGet in line bro, I call dibsâ Xavier grinned,
âSheâs certainly something, Iâll give you thatâ I added in and both of them groaned,
âNoo, you always get the girlsâ Alistair pouted and it was oddly like a wounded puppy,
âUrg fineâ I gave in âYou can see if you can get her firstâ I stated,
âYes!â they both cheered,
âBut.â
âBut what?â they asked with a frown,
âI donât want you guys being pricks about it got it?â I gave them both a stern look before a grin slipped onto my face, âAnd when you fail, sheâs mineâ
âDeal, but you gotta back off from her, got it?â Xavier bargained and I shrugged,
âFine, but Iâm not going out of my way to avoid herâ
âFair enoughâ Alistair grinned, âlooks like itâs just a war between me and you broâ his grin turned into a smirk as he silently challenged Xavier,
âSure is, but we both know sheâll fall for meâ Xavier boasted and I burst out laughing,
âYeah yeah guys whatever, letâs get back to the gameâ I said with a grin as I watched my two best friends groan and deflate.
*
âDude, dude, look there she isâ Alistair shoved his arm into my side and I winched slightly looking down the hall to see who he was talking about. I scanned the hall in front of us but it didnât take me long to spot the brightly coloured hair standing out amongst the normal blondes and browns. It was obvious he was talking about her.
She was wearing what could be considered her usual out there kind of look: a loose fitting black crop top that reviled part of her surprisingly well-toned stomach, with what appeared to be the superman logo and a pair of ripped, skinny jeans. It suited her well I concluded with an appreciative smirk, Alistair seemed to think the same as he began heading over to where she was standing with her little friend group.
âDude quick, give me some adviceâ He asked when we were about then meters away,
âI donât know just ask her to tutor you in a class or something, you suck at Spanish right?â I offered with a shrug,
âAwesome, thanks manâ and with that he winked at me and walked over,
After debating for a second I realised I wanted to see how this would go and made my way over to lean against the lockers nearby.
