1. Indian Train

Wedding Da Tadka1,237 words~7 min read

~Aaditya Pov~

My brother Rishabh is getting married, and I can't help but wonder what kind of desperation drove his fiancée to marry this idiot,

They fell in love during their project meetings, and six months later, my soon to be sister-in-law spilled the beans to everyone. Now, they're getting married in two months.

I just don't get how people fall in love-it's such a stupid thing!

Uhh! I just need to catch a flight to India tonight.

-AT Bengaluru AIRPORT-

I had been waiting for Rishabh to pick me up to our home but literally after decades

I receive a call with the information that l had to catch a train at Bengaluru Train Station.

To my dismay, I have found out I had to travel to a completely different, underdeveloped side of Bengaluru, with minimal population, cause his weeding will be in Royal Indian style at our ancestral villa and the train was scheduled to depart at 11:30 AM (and guess what, it was already 11:10 AM).

This made my blood boil, but as he was the groom, I can't even touch him.

I am here stuck in airport and he who is busy being "joru ka gulam" even before marriage.

-AT Bengaluru Railway Station-

Aaditya was standing at crowded station of Bengaluru being fully confused and uncomfortable

Holding his luggage and a big, shiny trophy which he just won before coming to India at his football match

A train pulled into the platform, and many people poured out while many others try to get in to train.

Amid the chaos, Ahaan's eyes caught sight of a girl effortlessly weaving through the crowd, like she had mastered the art. She noticed him too, perhaps because his face screamed that he was done up with the madness.

As she approached him, Aaditya pretended not to notice her. You know REPUTATION

"First time on an Indian train?" she asked with a teasing smile.

"Is it that obvious? How could you tell?" Aaditya replied.

"By the look on your face," she said, laughing.

"And what exactly does my face tell you?" Aaditya challenged.

She tried to control her laughter. "It looks like you're wondering if this is a zoo instead of a station. Am I right?"

"Yes, miss, you're right. It does feel like a zoo, and you must be the zookeeper," Aaditya retorted with a smirk.

Her laughter faded, and she replied, "No, I'm just someone who knows how to survive this jungle."

Aaditya couldn't help but grin. "Well, if this is a jungle, then I guess I'll need some survival tips from you."

"First tip," she said, leaning in conspiratorially, "never look like a deer, by looking at you it's obvious you're not Indian anyone can fools you."

"Noted," Aaditya said, chuckling. "And what's the second tip?"

"Find a seat before you end up as a human sandwich," she advised, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

Aaditya laughed. "I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the advice, Miss Jungle Expert."

She smiled. "Anytime, Mr. Newcomer, Welcome to the wild ride of Indian railways!"

Then the announcement of next train arrives is made

She move towards the train

Followed by Aaditya cause it was the same train he have to caught

They both end up in same compartment

Aaditya was trying to keep his luggage at luggage rack but accidentally drop a small bag which falls on that girl

She yelled "ouch, can't you even handle your luggage"

Aaditya irritated "I don't need a lecture on management of luggage" he said

"And I don't need bags on my foot" she replied

He said "Oh please, l have travelled all across the world"

"Clearly, Not in India" she exclaimed

Then the train started and they both end up sitting beside eachother

"UNBELIEVABLE" Aaditya muttered

"Better get use of it, cause India is not for beginners"

Then the train reached the station (the undeveloped part of Bengaluru)

Unfortunately Aaditya and that girl both came out from the train at the same station

"You came to India then it must become you want to visit India then what are you doing here in this area there is nothing to see" she asked

Aaditya replied, "I came here for my brother's wedding. Can you believe it? He chose to have it in India, and not just anywhere in India, but in the middle of nowhere! I told him, 'Let's have the wedding in London,' but no, he had to pick this jungle"

She laughed and said, "First of all, this isn't a jungle. And second, it's clear you've never been to an Indian wedding. Once you experience one, you won't want to go back to your London! And guess what? I'm here for my sister's wedding too."

Ahaan said "oh wow"

They were walking forward but then Aaditya notice a girl feeling uncomfortable cause some boys was trying to harass her.

Aadityais about to step in when the same girl , spots the situation

She rolling up her sleeves and said "Hey! You better Leave her alone, creep"

That man was impressed by her boldness he said "Or what? You gonna stop me?"

She looks around, spots Aaditya holding his trophy, and strides over to him.

She said "Mind if I borrow this?"

Before Aaditya can respond, She grabs the trophy from his hands and marches back toward the troublemaker.

"Last warning! get away from her" she said while holding the trophy property

That man chuckle and said "for your kind information No one's coming to save you. I'm the don of Bengaluru, so back off."

"And for your kind Information I am Hyderabadi, we don't waste time on words, yaha sidha goli chal jaati hai."

(We directly shoot people)

That man laughs, still not taking her seriously, But she swings that heavy trophy with surprising strength on his head

She smirk and said "I warned you."

He, now feels dazed and stumbling, tries to regain his balance but ends up tripping over his own feet

His friend caught him and said to get "we will see you later"

And all of them run away

The girl thanks that girl and quickly went away.

That girl turns to Aaditya, who is watching her with wide eyes

Aaditya said in disbelief "Did you just use my trophy as a weapon?"

He then inspects the trophy, which now has a small dent on one side and said "w-why this is looking like this"

"What is looking like what" she asked

"My trophy have dent" he shout

She said "don't worry next time I will use my fist as a weapon not your trophy"

Aaditya sigh and say "I have never imagine that trophy can also be used as weapon"

"Well!, I told you India is not for beginners" she said
