Chapter 22.
Aelius stared at his ceiling, not a thought in his mind. Frankly, he felt calm this morning.
Clear winter sky's, not too cold but not too warm. Winter flowers blossoming in clear day, peace and quiet.
He had almost forgotten what was to happen this day.
But it didn't last long sadly. As he instantly remembered what was to happen this day. His first thought, the prince.
I mean what else would it be? That royal had his brain accumulated with only him. Partly him.
There was still other things surely. Just not at the moment clearly. Aelius sighed and sat down on his bed.
He stretched for a bit, before heading to the washroom for the normal things he would do.
After he got out he went to his room for a change of clothes, casual but not too Casual.
Something to get him though the morning so that in the evening, he could change into something better.
Aelius thought thoroughly, what could he do to pass the time? Not spend his time his his sister, that would cause him headaches.
His older brother? He's to thoughtful, he would probably forget he was with him for a while before remembering.
Parents? As much as he loves them, they would take care of him as if he were a baby all over again. So sadly, not today.
So he decided on his little siblings, sadly he couldn't bring Lius, he was a newborn - so he couldn't really bring him out on the shops filled with people. Fearing he might loose the poor baby.
"Amelia! Toah!" He called out for them.
And there they came running to him. They both reached about his knees in height, and they knew their way around the town. Even better than him his family says.
Knowing every creak and cranny about the place. So even if they got separated from eatchother. They would just end up home somehow. Which would save his life from his mom's anger every time he lost them.
"We're going to the shops today! Que van a querer?" Asked Aelius.
"We want to go to the coffee shop we found when you left us again. The one you promised us to bring us to." Amelia said.
"Toah is feeling sick, so he can't talk much."
Toah had gotten sick due to the fall of pollen in the trees, and now he had an icky nose and throat. Not much of a fun thing.
But the coffee shop? What coffee shop? Are they even old enough to drink coffee? Perhaps the light type isn't as bad for them right?
The prince thought for a while what coffee shop? Then he remembered, it's the coffee shop he found them standing in front of when he had lost them.
"Mmm okay, sure let's go. But only if you don't tell mother i lost you two again." Aelius laughed a little.
They left home and went on their way. Aelius held both his siblings hands, one on each side while they entered town.
---------------------------------------------
"How many people?" Asked the front door lady.
"Three, if you may." Aelius responded.
The lady wrote on the notepad she held. Glancing at the two children Aelius had on each side, and lightly smiling at them.
"Please, follow me to your table." She spoke.
Then she went on her way, leading them to a table near a corner with a nice view to the busy people and pets. One even held a bird on their hands.
"What do you think?" Asked Aelius.
"We love the place! Thank you brother!" The two said in unison.
His siblings's eyes glowed with awe. The coffee shop wasn't anything like how they all imagined it. It was rustic; but in a nice way.
The tables were round with fancy seats. The windows were big but not so big, and the lights were dim but not so dim.
It was a calming environment to be in.
A waitress gave them each a menu to look at, many coffee's, many desserts. And a little kids menu for the children.
While he looked at the menu, Aelius caught a glance at a vase that sat on his table.
It seemed to him that no matter where he went, there would be white flowers that just wouldn't let him catch a break.
The prince.
The prince filled his mind constantly, and he wouldn't mind it one bit in the least.
Crazy how the prince filled his mind instantly when he would come across a White flower. What was it that made him think of the prince this way anyway?
It's a connection he just can't simply explain, if he were to explain this feeling it would take him an hour or two. But he wouldn't get tired of it.
Everytime he'd seen his laugh, it's like he would look at the sky and stars itself when he looked at his eyes.
This was the most dedicated he'd ever been to any other person. Maybe he had actually fallen in love with the prince?
He wanted to tell him everything he felt towards him in many many ways. But it was slightly obvious the prince wasn't ready for any of it at the moment.
Which is why he asked him on a date. So that they could get to know eatchother better than what meets the eye.
He might not have much to him.
He might not be as rich and powerful.
He might not have that many fancy outfits.
He might not be the brightest of all.
He might not be the handsomest.
But he's still him, and he's willing to give all of him to the prince.
Aelius was head over heels for the poor prince in such a short time. Oblivious to the world and how it really is when he thinks of him.
An unrequited happy ending, willing to take place with them.
"May i have you're orders?" A waitress asked.
1000 words.
