Once she had washed up, she joined Rosalynn in the dining room.

Rosalynn’s smile persisted as she poured a glass of milk for Maggie

“Don’t go to work today.

Take a day off and rest at home.

I’ll request leave for you.

Maggie hesitated momentarily but eventually nodded.

Although she had enjoyed a peaceful sleep, fear still lingered within her.

Just then, the doorbell rang.
