Emotionless?!

I’ve heard of detached and coldhearted people, emotionless is new.

How is that even possible? Thought I wonder if she can feel in bed……

"That's impossible." I stated.

Lee shook her head. "Apparently it isn't, haven't you noticed how she's different?"

I stared at her. Different how exactly? Her being the hottest hard to get girl I met or the fact she actually blew me off and got me to actually listen to her.

"I see you get what I'm saying so-" she started obviously misunderstanding my moment of silence.

"Why is she emotionless?” I cut her off honestly curious. I have to know who I’m going to conquer who knows I might go for a second round.

"What?"

"Why is she emotionless?” I repeated myself.

"Well" Phil started. "No one really knows but the original ones who were here when she first came into the society.”

"Wait, when did she come into the society if only the originals know? I mean she's pretty much as old as us." I asked confused.

"Rumor had it she came here at 9 after an 'incident'." He quoted incident.

"That young?” I was amazed.  "What incident made her join so young?” Ice you are a so mysterious woman it’s almost unreal.

"No one really knows other than the originals." Lee responded. "Which leads to rumors from us. The new generation."

"Though I can't help but believe them." Phil muttered.

"Why don't you just ask the one of the originals then?" I asked in a duh tone.

"Let's just say Ice has many ways to keep people's mouth shut." Phil shivered.

"They're scared of her. Aren't they originals?" I raised an eyebrow. I’m sure she can’t cause that much damage.

"Technically she's one too since she's been here as long as them if not longer” Lee stated flatly while I just smirked at her. Feisty, I think I’m going to like this agency’s woman.

"Why do you want to know so much about her anyway? Do you want to know more about her or if she's available or something.” Phil stated. I raised an eyebrow smirking.

“Something like that.”

“I would advise you to leave it at that, last time someone made a move on her she almost froze them to death” My smirked widened. I’m sure I’ll be able to handle it with my flames, after all opposites attract.

I shrugged indifferently. ”You’ve been warned” Phil rolled his eyes at me.

"Anyway, why do you want to know so much?" Lee asked looking at me suspiciously.

"Well I'm going on a mission with her so I thought it would be best to know more about her so-" I started with an excuse.

"Wait did you say that you're going on a mission with her?" Lee interrupted. She looked tense.

"Yeah why?" I asked annoyance in my tone at being interrupted.

They both gulped and I noticed that the lobby was suddenly quiet again.

"You are the administrators son aren’t you?" a girl spoke out while I smirked. “Who else”

"And you're going on a mission with her?" Phil asked shock in his tone before mutters erupted as I nodded yes.

"And you're parents know about this?" Lee asked cautiously.

“Well duh” I rolled my eyes and heard people gasp. Where is this going?

"What have you done to your parents for them to have a death wish for you?!" Lee asked suddenly while I stared at her open mouthed. That’s pretty much what Ice said.

"What do you mean by that? Nothing." I collected myself looking around. “What’s the big deal about being her partner anyway?” I smirked “I wouldn’t mind.”

She looked hesitant a little. "Do you wonder if she had a partner before?”

I don’t know I haven’t been here for long how am I supposed to know someone’s history?

I shuffled uneasy, the tension was unbearable.

“Chris” Lee whispered making my head snap towards her.

“Every partner she’s ever had have died within a week or so before she worked solo” I stiffened.

I’m being made partner with a hot cold hearted psychotic chick.

I’m too handsome to die.
