"Mamá, papá, I missed you both so much." I grinned, opening the front door, seeing my parents there.
"Ahh, mi preciosa niña, I missed you even more." my mom beamed, pulling me into a bone crushing hug. (my precious girl)
Lucia Morales. My mother, my best friend, my everything, honestly. She means the world to me, she's my rock, she's the one I always told all my boy drama to, she's the one who knows every single secret I have. I trust her with everything, and she is who I hope I can be to Alejandro.
"Don't hog her completely, I need to see mi estrella aswell." I heard my father's voice chuckle, as he closed the front door. (my star)
My father, Diego Morales is a hardworking man. He may be involved in something dangerous, but he made sure to never involve me and my mother into it, he always kept us out of harms way.
"Hi, papá. I missed you, I hope works not been too bad." I smiled, pulling away from my mom's grasp and fell into my father's open arms.
"Ai, mi estrella, work is worth it when I get to go home to your gorgeous mother. How have you been, everything okay?" he said, hugging me tight.
"I've been okay, dad." I smiled, pulling away from the hug, "There's someone who's been waiting to see you.
"Yes! I've been waiting to see mi nieto!" my mom beamed. (my grandson)
I went into the living room, my parents following right behind me. I picked up Alejandro from his rocking seat, as he squealed adorably.
"Hi, mi vida, guess who's here!" I squealed, turning him so that he saw my parents.
"Dios mÃo, he is just so adorable, he looks like you!" my mom cooed, reaching out to hold him.
We all sat down, having light conversation while my mom held Alejandro. I felt happy, I missed them both so much. It pains me, that I don't see them often. But I know my dad is a busy man, and my mom likes her peace at home. We do see each other, just not as often as I'd like. Eventually, I'll get a car. When I do, I can visit them more often. That'll be good for Alejandro too, they're basically the only family he has aside from me.
My other relatives all live in Spain, and most of them cut ties with us simply because we moved here, and didn't stay in Spain. Only my uncle and aunt from my mother's side stay in contact. Not that I really care, most of my relatives are giant dickbags, they didn't like me, because they wanted my parents to have a boy. How weird is that?
I was brought out of my thoughts as my phone rang. Enzo.
"I'll be right back, okay?" I smiled, looking at my parents that were admiring Alejandro, as he kept playing with strands of my mother's long hair.
I walked to the kitchen, looking at my phone screen and pressing the bright green button.
"Hello." I said, biting my lip, trying to conceal my smile.
"Fucking finally, I thought you weren't gonna answer." Enzo husked. I missed his voice.
"Aw, Enzo. Don't tell me that you missed me." I teased, holding in a giggle. Realistically, I'm hoping that he missed me, because I sure as hell missed him.
"Missed you? God, I'm desperate without you." he sighed, "I shouldn't be this attached but fuck, you're so alluring. How could I not miss you?"
The blush covering my cheeks was very easily noticeable. I'm more than glad that he missed me, and that he missed me this much.
"I miss you too." I giggled, "Are you having fun at work? The guys giving you much trouble?" We had been talking over the phone the past few days, he was so swamped in work, so we didn't have time to see each other. Every single phone call, without fail, he has complained about his so-called 'jackass' friends, bothering him. He wouldn't tell me what they were bothering him about, though.
"They're bothering me like hell, it's pissing me off. Your voice is the only thing helping me calm down. Otherwise, I'd beat their fucking ass." he cursed. The way he spoke of his feelings so openly intrigued me. It made a question linger on my tongue. What are we? I mean, I know I'm attracted to him, I feel something there. But does he feel the same?
"You'll be fine." I chuckled.
"When can I see you again? It's been too long, bella." he complained. We last saw each other on Saturday, it was now Wednesday.
"My parents are only staying for today. They were supposed to stay over, but one of my father's coworkers is hosting an event tomorrow and they both want to be there." I explained, roaming around my kitchen.
"So, what you're saying is, I can see you tomorrow?" I heard him say, his voice sounding happier.
"Yes, you can see me tomorrow." I grinned. I'm looking forward to seeing him. He makes me forget about my worries.
"Thank fuck." he sighed.
"Look, I gotta go, since, you know, my parents..." I spoke. I kind of feel sad about having to hang up. But I've missed my parents, I really want to talk to them.
"Of course. I'll call you later tonight, okay, bella?" he asked. I can practically picture the smirk on his face.
"I'll be looking forward to it." I whispered, ending the call. I pressed my phone to my chest, biting back a smile.
"So, who was that?" I heard my mom's voice from behind me.
I turned around, "That, was Enzo. I met him a while back, he helped me after that incident at the mall." I grimaced, thinking back to that horrible day.
"Ahh, he's your knight in shining armor, eh?" she winked playfully. "Do you feel something for him?"
I shrugged, "I think I do. I mean, I don't know. He's amazing, he's caring, he makes sure I'm okay and comfortable with everything we do, like meeting his friends, for example. He came over on Friday, and he helped me with Alejandro, he held him so I could shower, he even kept the camera with him, so I could keep an eye on him at all times." I smiled, thinking about Enzo.
"I'm happy for you, mi preciosa niña. You deserve the best there is. I would like to meet this Enzo, someday." she smiled, wrapping her arms around me in a hug.
"Thank you, mamá. If it ever becomes serious, I promise you and papá will meet him." I said, hugging her tight.
She pulled back, wiping her watery eyes, "Now, come on, can't let your papá have Alejandro all to himself, right?"
I chuckled and followed her out of the kitchen.

I hummed a lullaby, rocking Alejandro in my arms, lulling him to sleep. My parents left about 30 minutes ago, I spent the whole day talking and laughing with them, I really missed them. They promised to come visit again soon.
Once he was asleep, I laid him in his crib, turning on the baby monitor, heading to the bathroom to take a shower. I took off my clothes and threw them into the hamper, turning on the shower, waiting for the water to be warm. Once it was warm, I stepped in, enjoying the warm water relaxing my muscles.
I made sure to keep an eye on him throughout my shower. I showered quick, maybe 10 minutes, and I wrapped the bathrobe around myself and made my way out of the bathroom.
I grabbed a tank top, underwear and a pair of pajama pants. I got dressed, did my skincare, it's been a while since I last did it, I haven't had time. I grabbed the baby monitor with me and went to sit in the living room.
I was feeling faint, but I think it was because I hadn't eaten. I went to the kitchen, pouring some cereal in a bowl, adding milk, sitting down and starting to eat. My phone dinged with a message. I really need to change his contact name.
Big Daddy Enzo
Hi, bella. Are your parents still there?
me
hi! they left a while ago, i'm just eating right now. i wasn't feeling the best.
Big Daddy Enzo
Are you okay? Do you need something?
me
i'm okay, i think. if you have any free time i'd appreciate if you stopped by. i'm worried about passing out, and since i have my baby here, you know.
That's all I'm worried about. I don't want to pass out, and have Alejandro wake up alone.
Big Daddy Enzo
I'll be there in 15 minutes.
I smiled, shutting my phone and continued eating my cereal.
True to his word, Enzo was getting out of the passenger seat of a car, carrying multiple takeaway bags. That big, beautiful man. How he managed to get the food and be here in 15 minutes, is something I don't understand.
I went to the front door, opening it with a smile. Enzo smiled back, giving me a kiss on my forehead, as I let him in. I closed the door and locked it, following him with a smile.
"Someone dropped you off?" I asked as we went and sat in the living room, the takeaway bags set on the coffee table.
"Romeo wanted to drop me off." he said, grabbing a takeaway box, handing it to me. "Eat."
I smiled, getting up quickly to grab us forks, went back to sit down and see what he got. Italian food. Yum.
"So, you're staying over?" I grinned. Him staying over made me feel more secure. Like maybe he wants me like I want him.
"If that's okay with you, bella." he smiled, tucking my hair behind my ear. "I love your hair like this. I know you usually don't wear it down because it gets in your way. But it looks beautiful."
I blushed, looking at him. His gorgeous brown eyes were looking right back at me.
"Thank you, Enzo...I love your hair too. And it's okay, that you stay over. I like having you stay over." I smiled at him.
He smirked, "Yeah? I'm glad. Maybe next time you two could stay over at my house." He had a hopeful tone.
I couldn't help but blush even harder. Does this mean that he is into me the way I'm into him?
"I'd like that. I have a travel crib in my closet, so Alejandro can sleep in that." I smiled, leaning my back on the couch.
He hummed, grabbing a container of food and began eating. I started scrolling through Disney+, trying to find something to watch.
"Have you ever watched Criminal Minds?" I asked, my eyes still on the TV.
"No, I haven't." Enzo answered.
"Alright. We're watching Criminal Minds then." I mumbled, clicking on it and setting the remote down, diving back into my food.
We enjoyed our food in comfortable silence, and once we were done, I gathered all the trash into one bag, and leftovers to the other. I took them to the kitchen quickly and sat back down next to Enzo. He wrapped and arm around my shoulders, pulling me close to him. I rested my head on his shoulder, as he pulled a blanket over us. This is what I like, this is where I feel safe.
I glanced over at the baby monitor every now and then to make sure my baby is okay.
He's okay, and so am I, finally.
