"What are we supposed to do?!" I heard someone whisper-yelling.

We had all fallen asleep while watching a movie. Group sleepover!

Although, this definitely does not feel like the couch, so I assume that someone brought me into a spare bedroom or something.

"I don't know, he's just....staring!" Another voice whisper-yelled, making me stir. What the hell are they doing?

"Well someone has to change that diaper, he fucking stinks." I very clearly heard Romeo grumble, a sarcastic tone in his voice.

That made my eyes flutter open, as I sat up in bed slowly, watching the three men stood over the crib, staring down at Alejandro. "What the hell are you guys doing in here?"

They even brought his crib in here, aw.

On cue, Romeo's, Samuele's and Riccardo's heads turned to me.

"Sunshine, hey!" Romeo grinned sheepishly, awkwardly scratching his neck. "We were just comin' to check on the little guy so that you could sleep."

"But then he ended up doing a number 2-" Samuele started, but Riccardo interrupted him with a playful scoff, "Number 2? With that fucking smell, it's at least a number 5."

I watched the men, amused. Who knew the three bad men would be brought down by one smelly diaper.

"I'll take care of it." I smiled, gently rubbing my eyes, glancing at the clock on the nightstand, "I appreciate that you guys made the effort, though. I haven't slept this long in a while."

It was true. I don't remember a single time I slept over 8AM in the past few months.

The guys all left, to give me some space to get up and get myself and Alejandro ready for the day.

"Hi, my baby- oh my god, they were right, you stink!" I giggled, picking up a very happy Alejandro from his crib, taking him to the connected bathroom. I realized that I was in fact, in Enzo's room. I recognize the bathroom.

After getting Alejandro changed and into a fresh diaper, I quickly set him in the travel crib, so that I could get ready.

Thank goodness I showered last night.

I pulled my hair into a bun, as usual, and brushed my teeth. For clothes today, I went casual. Light pink sweatpants and a black longsleeve. Comfy and warm.

As soon as I was done, I made my way back to Alejandro, gently lifting him up from his crib. Small baby giggles filled my ears; making a warm smile overtake my face.

As cheesy as it sounds, having Alejandro truly changed my life. He made me more mature. Having him made me realize that a lot of the people I kept close, didn't deserve me in the first place.

And first and foremost; he taught me that family is everything. I would do anything for this little bundle of joy in my arms. I'd move mountains; I'd even pick out all the stars in the sky, if he wanted me to.

"How will I ever handle you growing up, huh?" I cooed, as I exited the room. "How about you just stay like this forever? My little star."

Alejandro happily giggled and gurgled in my arms. He was the happiest baby I have probably ever seen.

I slowly descended the steps, making my way towards the kitchen, where the delicious smell of breakfast hit me.

"Well, look who has risen." Romeo teased, offering me a small smile. Riccardo and Samuele were both stuffing their faces with one of the various foods on the table, Leonardo was nowhere to be seen, and Enzo was stood by the stove, frying something.

I could get used to this.

Enzo turned around, slowly walking over to me with a soft smile on his face. It seems like he has been awake for a while, already.

"Morning, Val." He murmured, pushing a few stray hairs behind my ear. "Did you sleep okay, hm?" His voice was softer than usual; a tone he seemed to not carry often.

I nodded in answer to his question, a small smile lifting my lips, "Slept amazing. Your bed is so comfortable."

With a smile, and a kiss on my hairline, he returned back to the stove, "Sit down, eat some breakfast. You're moody as shit when you're hungry." Asshole.

"I'm not." I mumbled with an eyeroll, sitting down at the table, holding Alejandro in my arms. Everything looked delicious.

Deciding to keep breakfast light, I grabbed a piece of toast and some yogurt with granola mixed into it. The guys all greeted me with good mornings, even if most of them had bothered me this morning already.

It all felt so...natural. As if I belonged into this group. None of them had for even a second made me feel as if I was an outsider, like I didn't belong. It felt...nice. Heartwarming. They accepted me, baby and all.

It felt like I finally had a place where I belong.

___

"Come on, get up, I'm taking you home." Enzo murmured, gently tugging at my hand, as I laid on the couch. Today had definitely been a lazy day; I'm so exhausted, for no absolute reason.

A small groan left my lips, as he pulled me into a seated position. "Home? You gettin' tired of me already?" I joked, standing up with the help of his hand.

Almost offended, Enzo looked at me with a raised brow. "Tired of you? Please." He scoffed. "You're like adrenaline, Val. Making my blood pump faster." He pulled me closer, looking down with a small grin.

"I want to take you home so you can get dressed into something fancy. We're going out for dinner." His hands rested on my hips; his head slightly tilted.

"Dinner?" I hummed, looking up at him. "Fancy?"

He nodded, and I shook my head. "What about Alejandro? Do they even let kids into fancy restaurants?"

Enzo shrugged, his smile shifting into a smirk. "Don't know. But at this restaurant they will." He spoke so confidently.

I eyed him suspiciously, my brows furrowed, "Hm, and how exactly would you know that?"

"I own the place." He shrugged casually, as if this was no big deal. Yeah, right, because everyone just casually owns restaurants.

"You WHAT?!"

___

"Come on, let's go in." I ushered Valentina, my hand resting on her back.

We had arrived at the restaurant. The entire drive here she was gushing over the fact that I own a whole restaurant. It's so cute.

I wonder how she'd react if she saw all the other things I own.

One day, she'll see. And one day, I'll buy her all the things she can dream of. Hell, I'd give her this restaurant right now if she wanted it. Money doesn't matter to me. Not when I have her.

My father has always been a hardworking man. He is the person I learned everything from. But one thing one thing he never put money above, was his family. His wife and his children always mattered more than money.

I'm glad I was raised by him.

"This is- oh my god!" Valentina's voice brought me out of my thoughts, as she gaped at the interior of the expensive restaurant, a sleeping Alejandro in her arms.

With a small smile on my face, I led her over to a more private table. I could see on her face that as much as she loved this; it was more extravagant than she expected, and it made her overwhelmed.

Thank god I chose a private table in a quieter area.

After we were comfortably seated; I had the waiters bring over some appetizers. We both got our own plates that had Bruschetta with pesto, cream cheese and tomato, fresh crabcakes, and olives soaked in sunflower oil and herbs.

"This looks delicious, already." Her angelic voice spoke, as she stared at all the food. Yet I was unable to take my eyes away from her.

She is so beautiful. Not just looks wise. Her soul is so pure, so loving. She sees beauty in everything around her, but not in herself. I never understood how.

But it's not her job to explain it to me; this is something she's always lived with, and I plan to change that. I'm going to keep reminding her everyday what a beautiful person she is, until she believes it herself.

We were eating, some light-hearted chatter going back and forth. Alejandro was in a comfortable baby bed-chair. Did I buy it just for this occasion? Maybe.

"These olives are probably the best thing I've ever tasted." She gushed, and I swear I've never seen her this happy.

"Oh yeah?" I smiled, picking up my cup of olives. "Have mine too, I've never been a fan of olives anyways." I set it on her plate, gesturing for her to eat them.

Her brows furrowed in confusion, "But you just had olives on your pizza yesterday."

"You're imagining things, bella." I shrugged, "Now eat."

I love olives.
