And that we're go to build a house with lots of windows

And when we have the kids we'll tell them to remind we

Of where we were and how so we never get lazy Yeah we'll climb mountains Climb mountains together. Artist: Emeli Sande Song:Mountains

Sage’s Pov.

I was standing on my tippy toes trying to get a cup from the cabinet, but I couldn’t reach it. Where was Blaze when I needed him? I struggled more and more before just giving up.

“Matthew? You’ve been quiet, what are you doing?” I called out to the three year old boy I was babysitting while Aubrey went to go get me some milk.

“Me not doing anything,” he replied running into the kitchen and holding my leg.

“Are you hungry?” I asked and he nodded his head excited. I had a hard time but I bent over picking up the small child and sat him in his highchair. It was hard to do since he and I were both growing.

“I’m here!” Aubrey screamed from the door, and I waved her over with a roll of my eyes.

“Gosh, I didn’t even take that long. Don’t have a baby about it,” Aubrey complained and then she noticed her pun and started to laugh.

“Well aren’t you just the comedian today.” I snatched the milk from her hands and poured it into the dish I was making for dinner.

It wasn’t easy but I managed to get myself up on one of the chairs at the nook in the kitchen so I can rest my feet, since there were hurting so badly.

Ten minutes later the rest of the gang showed up, minus Blaze who was still finishing up work at the office. He stopped letting me go in about a month ago, due to my ‘condition’ as he says it. He wouldn’t even let me go to the café, so I had Jeremy running it. He needed help paying for his college tuition anyway, so I was happy to give him the help.

“Hey little one or should I say big one?” Zac laughed coming over to me and giving me a hug.

I glared at him and replied sarcastically “You and your sister are just filled with the jokes today aren’t you?”

They both beamed the trademark Taylor smile at me and sat in their seats. I had Mark help me down and I served them their steaming bowl of food. I looked around at my friends; my family. I was happy that I went through what I did to get to this point.

My mom and Corey were visiting some family of ours in the Midwest, but they’d be back in time for my late shower, that I didn’t want. But because of Lana and Aubrey’s constant pestering I was having one.

I looked over to Matthew to see Mark making airplane noises and pushing the food into the baby’s mouth. Matthew laughed and grabbed his Uncle’s cheeks. Aubrey and Mark stuck to their plans of raising Matthew knowing that they’re his Aunt and Uncle, though they had trouble when he first started talking. He still doesn’t understand completely he will when he’s older. Sam had even started coming around, Mark still keeps his distance but she stays for a couple of hours to see her son. She’s still a wanderer but she’s getting better.

Aubrey and Mark married a couple months after Blaze and I, and Lana and Zac are still dating—though Zac asked Lana to marry him a million and three times. She said she wanted to wait just a little while longer.

Blaze finally showed up walking up to me immediately and kissing me on the lips. He put one hand on my protruding stomach and kissed it too. “How are you and our baby doing today?” He asked in my ear, causing me to smile and look up at him.

“Fine, but my feet hurt and these two keep making jokes.” I whined, like a five year old looking into those green orbs. I hope our baby takes after him with the eyes.

“Well, that sounds like a normal day with the two blonde idiots.” Blaze scoffed and laughed. He leaned down and kissed me again.

“Calm down with the heat Chica, you’ll put yourself through labor. Isn’t that how you got into this situation?” Lana asked with a smile. I glared and threw the pasta at her. She ducked before it could hit her and it landed smack dab on Zac’s mouth. He just glared at us before wiping it off, and sitting on the counter.

“He’s late anyway. I’m ready for oh—” I held onto my stomach and crunched down a bit when I felt a sharp pain go through my bladder.

Blaze was at my side holding me up in a matter of seconds. “What’s wrong Sage?” I scrunched my eyes, well that was weird. I stood back up and heard a splash on the hardwood floors of the kitchen. Everyone’s eyes went down and saw a huge wet spot.

“Eww, what is that?” Zac asked in disgust. Another string of pain went through me and I yelled ‘shit’ out loud from it.

“She’s going into labor dumb-doe!” Aubrey screamed jumping up and making everyone else panic. They scrambled around the rooms of the condo looking for their things and the night bag Blaze and I packed. I calmly waddled over to a wooden chair in the living room and sat down. I sighed and looked over at Matthew who had no idea what was going on. He had his fingers in his mouth and motioning me to pick him up.

I shook my head, I was with idiots but I loved them to death. The each ran out the door and left both me and Matthew in the house alone. I think they were forgetting who was in labor here. I sat there for a couple of minutes wondering if they were going to realize before they got there. I rolled my eyes and got up, picking Matthew out of his highchair and setting him on my hip. I opened the door and walked to the elevator and pushed the lobby button.

“Hello Mrs. Colton, everyone left a couple of minutes ago. Do you need me to call you a car?” Our lobby manager asked and I shook my head at him and smiled.

“Oh they’ll be back.” Not even four minutes later were my friends and my husband running through the lobby doors and pounding on the poor elevator buttons. With a clear of the throat they each came bounding over to me, helping me up and rushing me to the car.

Next thing I know I was in the back practicing my breathing techniques while everyone else acted as if they were the ones in labor.

On our way to the hospital Blaze would look in the mirror to check on me, and whenever he saw my face contorted in pain he would speed up.

Whenever Lana saw it she would ask in Spanish, what she knew it was. “Dolores de parto?(labor pains)” I wearliy nodded my head lacking patience and energy.  Aubrey was on my other side pulling my hair into a loose bun and Zac was next to her breathing like me. Mark was in the passenger seat holding onto the handle of the car door tightly.

The rest of the car ride was a blur and next thing you know I was in a hospital bed eating ice chips, while my epidural kicked, blocking all the terrible pain. It's crazy to think that I was acting calm and normal while the rest of them were freaking out.

Everyone sat around me with tired eyes. Grams came by a couple hours later to get Matthew so it was just the older people here.I smiled when I looked at them, this would definitely be a story to remember.

Mr. Colton was less of a problem but he was still one. He still didn’t like me and he managed to show that every time I was around him, but I didn’t mind. He was irrelevant to Blaze and I's happiness together. Even when I announced that I was pregnant you could see this distaste in his eyes. Mrs. Colton on the other hand was jumping for joy and going out to buy all the fabrics she could get her hands on. She says and I quote “My grandbaby can only wear baby clothes by me!”

Grams had tears of joy in her eyes and could stop hugging her grandson. “Finally you do another thing that’s right. The first time was marrying her, now you have her with your child. I’m proud of you, because you were an idiot at first.” Blaze’s mouth gapped open while staring at his Grams who continued to hug him.

Marnie was so angry that she broke two of her thousand dollar heels and pouted when she saw it on a magazine. Stacy looked as indifferent as ever.

When the doctor came back he told me I was ready to go and everyone who didn’t want to stay had to leave. Zac was going to stay and record for a couple of minutes and then leave when the big part comes.

“I’m going to need you to push for me, Sage.” The doctor cheered, making me clench my teeth and let nature take its course.

Zac started to move the camera lower but before he could get passed my stomach I grabbed his shirt.

“Hey, don’t go down there!” I hissed at him, having the death grip on to his arm.

“Oww, I was just getting the doctors face that all,” He cried out in pain.

“Blaze, you’re not touching me again for a year!” I yelled angry, his eyes were wide and he was trying to mask the pain of me grabbing on his hand so roughly.

“I see a head!” The doctor told us and Zac took that as his ticket to leave.

Our baby boy was perfectly healthy and lucky for me; he had those green eyes like his father. I smiled at Blaze before passing out asleep. When I woke up, I was misty eyed to see Blaze and I alone with our baby.

Hayden Eli Colton

He had Hayden in his arms and the baby was gripping his finger, eyes closed.

Blaze looked over at me and got up bringing Hayden to me. Once I settled the baby into my arms, I realized how lucky I was and apparently Blaze did too.

“Thank you, for everything; for being you. I love you” Blaze whispered as if speaking louder would break this moment.

“And thank you for being you, too. I love you too.” I replied, and he kissed Hayden’s cheek before kissing my lips and forehead.

We were alone for a full day because the gang wanted to give us some privacy—much of that we didn’t get while Blaze and I weren’t married, I laughed thinking about that. To be honest I dont even know how we managed to conceive Hayden. I mean they did calm down barging in as much but they still did it frequently.

“Aww look at the little resplandor (Blaze),” Lana cooed at Hayden. I sat in my bed talking to Aubrey about if Blaze and I were going to move.

“He looks a lot like you Blaze, already.” Mark said, “But he has Sage’s looks too. It’s crazy.”

“He’s a baby, not a science experiment; of course he’s going to look like his parents, Mark.” Blaze replied drily, looking at him as if he was stupid.

“It was just an observation. I didn’t need a smart comment.” Marked glowered at him.

“So Lana, I’ve always wanted to do it at a hospital. So how about you and I go find an empty room?” Zac hinted at his girlfriend, but Lana was still the fiesty girl we all knew.

“Or, I have a better idea. How about you go set yourself on fire? Or better yet I put you in the hospital permanently. Now leave me alone I’m bonding con mi sobrino.(with my nephew)” Lana told him sternly, she was serious; it was sparkling in her brown eyes. Lana got up handing the baby to Aubrey, and kissed the pouting Zac.

“You guys make me feel loved more and more everyday” I giggled. Blaze sat next to me holding my hand.

“I swear that we’re crazy.” Blaze mumbled and I looked at him.

“Yeah, but that’s what makes us, us.”
