"Oh my god, what?!"
Oliver woke up to the sound of Charlie on the phone. He found him sitting on the corner of the bed with his hand over his mouth.
"Mom, are you sure?!" He exclaimed through the phone.
Oliver kissed the back of his shoulder before looking at his face to see if he had any reason to be concerned. Judging by the beam on his face, Oliver assumed he was hearing good news.
"Okay... I have to get his present ready.... I'll be there soon.... Is it a girl or boy?"
Oliver gasped. "Madeline had the baby?" He mouthed to him.
Charlie nodded and laughed in excitement. "And both are healthy?.... That's wonderful!... I'll be there soon, Mom.... Love you too, bye."
He hung up before joyously turning to Oliver. "Madeline had her baby!"
"I thought she wasn't due for another two weeks!"
Collapsing back onto the bed, he exhaled slowly trying to catch his breath. "I guess she went into labour early! She had a baby girl and they are both healthy."
"Does she have a name yet?"
He shook his head. "They're still deciding."
"....I can't believe he's a father."
Charlie turned around to him and nodded rapidly. "RIGHT?! I mean... it's Spencer! My little brother... I'm just so shocked right now."
"What present were you talking about?"
Grabbing his phone from the bedside table, Charlie opened up his photos and clicked into an image of a bright green car.
"A lime Porsche 911 GT3 RS. He has wanted one for so long so I bought him it."
"Woah," Oliver took the phone from him. "I remember he had this car on one of his vision boards in high school! Man, he's going to love it!"
"I know! I just need to go park it in front of the lobby and maybe buy some cigars to celebrate."
Oliver groaned. "Is it selfish that I want to stay in bed with you all day?"
Charlie walked his fingers up Oliver's chest, landing just underneath his jaw. He used his fingers to turn Oliver's face towards him and slowly brushed his lips with his thumb.
"I want that too..."
Charlie was quiet for a moment, deep in thought.
"What's wrong?"
"Do you think we're rushing?"
Oliver knitted his eyebrows together and raised his head from the bed, resting it on the palm of his hand. "Are you unhappy or-"
"No, no, nothing like that. It's just... I was really hurt when you chose Nora over me. I know we're having fun and I don't want to be a downer but I'm worried that someday you'll go back to your old ways..."
"Oh..."
"I'm sorry for ruining the mood..."
"Don't be. I mean you have a valid point."
"I'm happy and I don't want to go back to being strangers."
"I don't want to ever be a stranger to you, Charlie."
"But I'm afraid."
Oliver leaned close to him and rested his nose on his. "I promise I will never ever put you through anything like that again. We both have to live with that shadow of my past self but I really hope to make it up to you one day because I really love you."
Charlie nodded and closed the distance between them with a kiss.
"I love you too."

An hour later, all of Spencer's presents were set in place. Two cigars, two glasses of whiskey and the keys to the Porsche. Oliver had just finished setting them on the table when Charlie returned to the living room from his phone-call with Spencer, a bright beam spread across his face.
"Okay, he's on his way."
"He's going to love the car." Oliver's eyes flickered down to his Rolex. "I should probably go..."
"Oliver..."
"I don't want to distract him from his big day. I can apologise to him some other time but let him have his peace today."
"You can always just apologise when he arrives and come see the baby. He's really not that angry at you. He's just stubborn."
"No... I don't want to take any attention off his baby girl. This day is meant to be a day of happiness and I'll only bring him down. It's fine, I'll just wait another few days."
Charlie's fingers played with the collar of Oliver's polo shirt, gently tugging it before suggestively unbuttoning the first button. "I don't want you to leave yet..."
Oliver inched closer to him. "I'll be back tomorrow..."
"I don't know if I can wait that long..." Charlie murmured, veering very close to Oliver. His arms rested around his shoulders and he smiled as he planted a kiss on his lips.
"Spencer will be here any moment," Oliver warned even though he made no attempt to stop him.
His hands slipped under Charlie's shirt and pulled it off slowly as he continued to kiss him.
"Wait," Oliver stopped and caught his breath. "If Spencer finds us like this he'll be really pissed."
Charlie's fingers gently pulled back Oliver's belt and unbuckled it. "We'll be quick. You'll be gone before he comes."
Oliver stood up, pulling Charlie up with him. "Okay. Let's go to your room though, just in case he arrives before we... finish."
Charlie grinned as he followed Oliver. On the way, they bumped into the table, knocking down the two cigars they had set earlier but neither of them cared as they practically sprinted to his room. He closed the door behind him before pinning Oliver to the wall, planting kisses all over his neck.
Oliver landed on the bed and grappled to get his shirt off as Charlie was busy yanking off his trousers. Oliver pulled him closer and with every kiss whispered an 'I love you'.
This was what heaven felt like. Charlie had unlocked a whole other realm of love and Oliver couldn't have been happier. Sweet dreams were made of this.
"Spence would freak if he saw this," Charlie laughed planting kiss after kiss on Oliver's chest.
Just as Oliver opened his mouth to speak, the door swung open. They both looked to the door as if they had been caught committing a crime and Oliver immediately covered his body with the duvet. Speak of the devil...
"What. The. Fuck."
All their mouths hung wide open as Spencer stared in shock at them.
"Um, hey Spence..." Oliver said trying to break the silence.
Spencer looked at him then back at Charlie then back at him like he was watching a tennis match. "You.... and you... how? What? When?"
Charlie quickly pulled on the first t-shirt he found (which just so happened to be Oliver's) and his boxers while Oliver followed in suit, putting on the closest items of clothing to him.
Spencer remained frozen at the door, rubbing his head and trying to make sense of what he was seeing.
"You should have knocked," Charlie said quietly.
"You should have told me you were with Oliver?! What?! He's your boyfriend now?!"
Charlie smirked and looked at Oliver. "We haven't really had that conversation but..."
"Yes. I'm his boyfriend now," Oliver chuckled, finishing off Charlie's sentence.
"I... I need to sit down." Spencer said before leaving the room.
"Well, that went well," Charlie sighed sarcastically, burying his face in his hands.
Oliver stood up and rubbed his boyfriend's shoulder. "Come on. Let's go talk to him."
They made their way to the living room where they found Spencer pacing up and down the room.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. In my defence, we only got back together yesterday," Charlie explained.
Spencer pointed his finger accusingly at Oliver. "Him?! After everything he's done you still want to be with him?!"
"He changed!"
"Oh yeah," Spencer scoffed. "Madeline told me about just how much you changed. I don't believe a word of it. God, Oliver, first Ellie now Charlie?! What! Am I next?! Are you playing bingo with the Kingsley clan?!"
Charlie flicked his head around to Oliver. "Ellie?!"
What a shit-show.
"Briefly and it was years ago!" Oliver explained before turning his attention to Spencer. "And no! Ew! No! The thought of sleeping with you makes me nauseous."
"Ditto!"
"I wanted to meet you and apologise for everything but I didn't want to divert your attention from your baby. I was planning on meeting you in the coming weeks and telling you everything. I didn't want you to find out like this."
"Then maybe you and Charlie shouldn't have been having sex when you knew I'd be coming around!"
Charlie chuckled under his breath but Spencer merely glared at him.
"Stop being stubborn," Charlie drawled. "Today's a happy day! So just forgive Oliver so we can all go and see your daughter."
"What?! No, it's not that easy!"
"Spence, I really am sorry for how things went down last time I saw you," Oliver said. "I was high and drunk and really angry and I said some things I shouldn't have said. You're my brother and I really want to go see your daughter with you."
"And," Charlie began, grabbing the keys to the Porsche off the table. "Keep in mind that I bought you a new car."
Spencer looked at the keys then at a Oliver. He pursed his lips. "So you've changed?"
"Yes."
He sighed. "Fine. But if you hurt him, I will hurt you. I was able to knock you out at that gala in high school and I won't hesitate to do it again."
Charlie cringed very visibly. "Spencer, I'm the big brother. That's meant to be my line."
Spencer took a cigar of the table and placed it between his teeth. "I'm literally a father now. I'm definitely the oldest by merit." He glanced at Oliver. "So we good?"
Oliver smiled. "Yeah."
"Great!" He clapped his hands together and yanked the keys out of Charlie's hands. "Let's go to the hospital and see my girls. I'm driving!"
