New picture of idara , what are your thoughts about it?

Idara's POV
"I'm getting.." Femi got interrupted when vibration started playing.
I quickly picked my phone, when I saw it was my dad I gave Femi a smile and picked it.
Me ; hello
Dad ; your mum is awake . Mr dele is waiting outside.
Me ; really? Okay am on my way.
I quickly stood up , smiling bright . Femi had a question look on his face .
Which I answered by saying
"Mum's awake."
I grabbed my bag , gave him a quick hug and ran to my sister's class to call her.
We both entered the car and Mr dele took us to the hospital.
Mercy kept on saying she knew that mum will wake up.
Na she Sabi. I just thought.
We walked fast to her room and when I saw my mummy smiling in a sitting position I bursted out in tears as I ran to her side to hug her.
"Omó mi . " She said while rubbing my back gently.
Mercy joined while my dad just watched us with a smile.
Thank God for this I kept on saying as I hugged my mum.
I couldn't believe it , it even felt like a dream.
After a few minutes we sat down on the chair beside her .
"Bawó ni, how have you two been?" My mum asked.
"We coped ."I said and Mercy nodded.
We spent the remaining hours there, talking about what she missed which wasn't even much.
We were all eating in the hospital room when dad said ,
"We are going to India. Your mum and I."
Mercy looked up from her plate for the first time and with food in her mouth she asked
"Why ?"
"Well for treatment, the doctor said it would be good if we take her to India."dad said.
Mercy nodded "so for how long?" She asked again
"Maybe for a month , Mary the maid will be sure to prepare food and clean the house." Dad said .
I sighed , it was for the best. If she have to go to India to be well then I don't see a problem in that.

I quickly kept my past question into my bag.
Today was the first day of waec and I was prepared. Well I had to be prepared.
I stepped out of the car and carried my bag well. I walked to my assigned class.
The information about how we'll sit was sent to us on Friday .
I entered the SS1 class. We weren't much in a class , I guess we weren't even up to ten.
One thing I know about this school is that they hate examination malpractice and that's very good.
I searched for any of my friend's face but only came face to face with Ire.
I walked up to where he was sitting.
"Good morning." I said with a small smile.
He had a full grin on as he said "hi , Idara."
I sat down beside him and brought out my past question book again.
"Are we still reading partners?" He asked .
"I don't know." I said
I remembered how Femi was angry and jealous when I told him that ire was my reading partner.
I miss Femi , I miss our little moments, the arguments, everything.
I know I've been distant to everyone especially him and I guess it's just the exam and my mum's stress.
"Mama what are you thinking about?"I heard ire asked.
"First of all am not mama and I wasn't thinking. And can you remind me the other formulae for period in SHM."
I said.
We were having physics and this guy with his brother are physics gurus.
He told me and explained it in a more clearer way.
"Thanks." I said when he was done .
I grabbed the book to look for another similar question when I heard ire said
"Has Femi told you , you know what don't worry."
I looked up at him "I'm not going to Worri . And what is Femi not telling me." I was not even surprised
I haven't given him any time to talk. When he wanted to tell me something important I walked out quickly.
I sighed."I will ask him later after the exams.". I said trying to dismiss the topic I needed to read not talk
"Am not sure you'll be able to talk to him , dad instructed the drivers to take us home immediately after the papers. "He said.
What's the man problem sef ?
"Why?" I asked
"Well he wants us to come out as the best of all time ."ire said with a little frown.
I looked at my book "nawa oo." I said.
So I couldn't talk to him and my parents took my phone for the time being cause of the exams.
Well this sucks , I slapped myself and faced my book. I heard a chuckle beside me but I ignored it. Physics need to enter brain.

I finally stood up and walked to the invigilator. I submitted the paper and walked out.
I quickly walked to Liz's class were we all decided to meet.
Immediately I entered, I saw all of them sitting down on both chairs and tables jubilating that the exam was finally over.
Femi was sitting on the table and he was just smiling at everyone.
I walked to them.and hugged Femi tight , I heard him chuckle and IÂ heard my Liz's coos.
"Congratulations everyone." I said as I hugged everyone.
I'm so happy , everyone had a grin on their face .
"We are going to Ayo's house today."
Angel said.
"For sure." I said while sitting on a chair.
We all planned to have a party at Ayo's house.
"Ire it's already two o'clock. " Femi said making ire stand up from the chair he was sitting on.
Femi also stood up , their driver always came to pick them up by that time and it has been frustrating.
"Thank God this exam has finished . I will collect my car keys from that man." Femi said as the both of us walked out.
I chuckled.
"We'll meet at the party right , and also collect your phone. I missed chatting with you." He said while pecking me on my forehead.
I missed him too , this last three weeks have been even more distant, always reading and we didn't see much.
"Bye ." I said as he jogged to meet up with ire. They both entered the car.
"Let's go shopping." Liz said placing her hands around my neck.
"Nah , I have clothes that I've already picked." I said . It's a lie I just didn't want to go shopping.
"Stop lieing. And stop being so away ." Angel said
"Okay .. okay ..sorry." I said as I linked my hands with theirs.
We entered Liz's car and the driver took us to the mall. We had a really nice time picking and wearing clothes.
We were through with our exams but no one talked about college or university.
It was even sad to think about separating with them.
"Idara buy these heels it fits your leg perfectly." Liz said .
"Nah I'm not the heel type you know it." I said , taking it off.
Angel stretched her credit card "we'll have that too." She said to the cashier.
I chuckled , "you guys are crazy . I can't carry that heels oo." I said
"Ehn buy it like that ." Angel said.
"I cannot allow myself to fall down , Liz your phone please." I said , I wanted to call Mercy . She's the only one at home
Mum and dad travelled last week , so only mercy and i at home.
She picked at the second ring
"Hello." She said , we talked more for about three more minutes.
"Mercy is going to the party too."I said to my two besties as I returned Liz's phone.
"She's welcome at any time." Angel said
"Really so about 2:00 am too abi?" I said.
"You are not serious mumu." Angel said back . Liz and I both chuckled as we grabbed the bags.

I opened my eyes to check myself , I looked so different.
My braid was packed and the makeup Liz did was on Point . The red skirt which I wore on a white crop top fitted me perfectly. I wore a jeans jacket on top of it.
The four of us had a white crop top on but different skirts.
When we were done , Liz drove us to Ayo's house or more like mansion.
"Don't collect drink from strangers and don't do what you are not proud of." I said to mercy. This was her first time and well I gotta play big sister.
"Listen to her ." Angel said from the front seat.
"I've heard ooo." Mercy said making Liz laugh.
She parked the car in front of the mansion and we all stepped out. We walked into the party like we were the queen or ogá.
Angel climbed the stairs , the first floor was already filled and party scatter by fire boy was playing.
I found myself moving and singing the song too as I climbed the stairs making sure mercy was right beside me .
She opened one door and we got to the balcony. There's a swimming pool there too.
Mercy quickly brought out her phone to take pictures , I swear that girl is a photo freak.
I looked around and this was like a VIP party style. I saw Femi sitting with the others.
He was already looking at me with a smile on his face. he stood up and walked up to me .
"You look so beautiful." My heart raced fast. I smiled "you don't look bad yourself."
He smirked"I never look bad babe."
"You and your big ego." I said making him laugh.
We went to the quiet part of the whole balcony and then Femi kissed me.
I realized how much I missed him in this kiss , my heart was beating so fast , the butterflies turned to dragon deep in my stomach and he tasted like mint.
I pulled him close to me , wanting more but he stopped and put his forehead on mine .
"I want to tell you something Idara." He said.
I didn't want anything serious this night, I wanted to enjoy myself. The way he even said it , it was obvious that it would be a serious matter.
"Can it wait?" I said
"No .. it has been waiting for long and I don't want to.." I cut him off by pulling his neck down and capturing his lips in a kiss.
I pulled out when I noticed how his hands were all over my body . I wasn't that comfortable.
"I'll tell you tomorrow. And why are you so horny this night?" He said making me chuckle.
" I just miss you." I said has he held my hand.
"You were the one avoiding me ." He said .
I touched his face , brushing it lightly "I'm really sorry ."
"I understood what happened babe." He said his hands on my waist.
"Am coming, I want to visit the toilet." I said making him drop his hand .
His warmth immediately left me as I smiled once more , I turned to the toilet's direction.
I met ire on the way , I smiled at him only for him to grab my wrist.
"Sup?" I asked as I turned back .
"Idara follow me somewhere."
He said . I was confused why and where.
"Why?" I asked.
"To mark the WAEC we did as reading partners." He said. Yeah I enjoyed it.
"Where?"
"A party."
A party , I'm not a fan of party like that .
"Which party?" I asked again
"Engagement party." He said .
"Okay ... Fine I'll go . Send me the details on wattsap." I said .
I walked fast to the toilet. When I was done I walked outside and back to the balcony.
I walked to where Femi and I was sitting.
He looked angry than the other time.
"Hey what's wrong?" I asked as I sat down beside him.
"I didn't know you and ire were this close." I heard Femi say .
Suddenly I became angry too. Why is he using that accusing voice.
"What are you trying to say ?" I asked angrily.
He took the cup on the table and drank it's content.
"Nothing..... Sorry ." He said looking at the cup.
"No , you keep accusing me and it's wrong. "I said
"I said am sorry , it's just that you've been practically avoiding me while being in the same class with him. Anytime I come there you guys are always together." He said .
I sighed "am not avoiding you , I know have been distant and am sorry too."
I said looking at him.
"I thought maybe I could be the closest to you with what happened with your mum but instead you pushed me away. " He continued
He's right. I pushed him away , I walked close to him and hugged him.
"Am sorry okay? "
His hand slowly wrapped around my waist.
"Yeah ."
