Idara's POV

"So what do you want to know ?" Femi asked

I quickly looked at him , "so what happened between you guys ?"I asked him.

Well I just wanted to know, and I felt like it was affecting Femi the most . The whole situation , and the guy looks creepy in some ways.

"Well you know we transferred here in SS2."he stated , sighing as he turned to look at me.

Well he shouldn't think am forcing him to tell me. I just feel that he doesn't need to bottle things up.

"Femi it looks like am forcing you. If you don't want me to know we can drop it ." I said holding his hands .

"Idara, i want to be free and let it out , you know? So let me just tell you." He said .

I smiled at him , as he said that.

"Life at my former school was much more better than this. We all knew each other since elementary school and well we were the bad boys of our set.

Ire liked to act as the leader , we always had turn in setting up parties. At that time we were carefree , just playing with our bad image stuffs."

He stopped to look at me "stop keeping it in Femi." I said again.

"I know , it's just hard you know. This is the first time am telling someone this." He said

"Well it's me you are telling not just anyone." I said back at him.

He smiled at this .

"There was this party we were invited to. Some SS3 were the one hosting it.

Well we were part of the VIP there."

I laughed at that. Is there anywhere they will enter and they will not treat them like VIP.

"We sat with the SS3 and SS2 bad boys. They were playing truth or dare. We played with them, you know keeping up with the image .

And finally we were dared to paint spray the class walls .

We left the party ,headed to school with the plan to only spray just a little bit near our seat. Well I did as I planned and am sure Daniel and Ayo too . The three of us left the class not knowing what Ire was doing since he said he wanted to go to the toilet.

"He was actually drunk , he stepped out of the school to be accompanied with the school security guard. He had sprayed the whole teacher's staff room

We were told to call our parents and ire said his mumu will be the best person to call right now since she will quickly cover it up. "

"She didn't right?"  I asked him.

He laughed , not his usual laugh just a forced laugh.

"She did, only for her son. The security guard reported the three of us . I got home so scared about what my dad will do only to see ire and his mum talking to dad about travelling.

Dad told me to stay in my room and wait for him.

I cried that night Idara for something I did not do. For something I did not even know about. Mr Davies flogged me that day and am sure ire had my cries at some point .

After that day I was even treated more badly than before.

Constantly reminding me of how my mum didn't train me or so was my dad's job while he was in the States enjoying life

We were told to leave the school. Ayo and Daniel's parent managed to cover it up.

He's back now and they have forgiven him already just after saying one apology.

You know they always bluff about beating him and stuff , they could not even raise their hands.

Am tired Idara , I can't wait for SS3 to be over." He ended his story with that.

"What's going to happen when SS3 is over?" I asked him

"Am going to leave this shit hole. But before that Idara I need you to promise me something."

What does he mean by he was going to leave this shit hole.

Is he going to travel or what?

What's going to happen to us ?

"Promise you what?" I asked as I looked at him. He has a lot of things bottled up.

So much  anger well am glad I could help him release it a little bit.

"I need you to promise me that you won't be part of the people that just like ire over me ." He said looking at me , his eyes begging me to say yes

"Why do you say that Femi?" I couldn't help but ask.

He should trust me enough to know that ire is nothing compared to him in my own eyes oo.

"Everything Idara . Can't you see my friends ,one day he's back and they have forgiven him." He said angrily.

"Well I promise. No matter what , you will always come first to me.

And it's good to forgive Femi."I said

He smiled at the first part of my sentence but frowned immediately he heard what i said last .

"I know Idara, that's why am even managing to talk to him."

He said back .

I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable at what he said earlier. What did he mean when he said he was going to leave this shit hole.

"Hey , Idara what's wrong?" He asked as he raised my chin up to study my face.

"Are you going somewhere after we are done with this session?" I asked looking him in the eyes.

"Yeah Idara . To the university." He said like I ought to know .

"You are travelling right?" I asked again.

"Yeah. Am not doing it in Nigeria and am you aren't doing yours too right?"

"I don't know. I think am doing mine abroad too.

Wait let's forget that one now. When are you going to explain the physics?"

I asked as we walked out of the classroom.

He laughed "see this girl after that heart felt conversation I thought you were gonna kiss me."

"Pelee , you just told me the story of your life . It's supposed to be a hug not a kiss." I said as I hugged him.

He laughed as he hugged me back.

"I think a kiss would have been better but this can do."

"You are not serious Femi."

"But am serious about you."

I bursted out laughing as I pushed him and walked into the class.

I walked to my seat and sat beside Liz.

"Mama , reading period is not loving period."she said as she removed her eyes from her phone.

"Says the person chatting with her boyfriend." I said laughing.

Angel turned back probably hearing what we were saying.

"The lady is already gone chatting with her boyfi too so?"Angel said

I looked at the teacher who was supposed to supervise us but it's true she was busy giggling at what she was reading.

I couldn't help but burst out laughing as I looked at her.

"Idara better laugh quietly." Liz said obviously making an effort to keep her's down.

"I heard Ire is back in the gang."Angel said again turning back .

"Yeah but why is everyone in the Davies family so fine." Liz said this time.

"I know right. Idara is lucky to have one. " Angel said this time smiling at me.

"With that said are you following us today or your boyfriend?" Liz asked

"Femi promised to drop me ." I said slowly .

"I swear that  boy is stealing you away from us." Liz said as the bell sounded.

"Am still your girl ." I said as I packed my stuffs into my bag.

"Yeah yeah.." she said again.

"Okay the rest of these weeks will be for us ." I said grinning at the both of them.

"That's better ." Angel said.

"Byee." I said as I walked out to meet Femi.

"Am sure my babes are already planning what to do to you." I said as I reached his side.

"Ahah why?" He asked laughing as he held my hand .

"Obviously because you are stealing me away from them ." I said chuckling as we reached his car.

"Femi  are you just gonna leave your bro?" Ire asked stepping out of his Bugatti .

" I've showed you the way here am sure you will get it back or ask one of the boys to help you."

Femi said.

Ire laughed and instead of replying Femi he turned to me.

"Hey am ire . Don't mind my brother's manner for not introducing us."

I scoffed , like I wanted to be introduced to him.
