Idara's POV

I stared at the message my heart beating fast . I didn't know what to do so I sent what my heart said was right.

Me: I need to think about it.

When I pressed sent , my mum called me from the sitting room.

"Idara!!"  "Ma." I said as I dropped my phone on my bed and stood up to meet her .

"Idara come and eat oo , you and this your am on diet . God will not let you give yourself ulcer. " My mum said again.

I couldn't count how many times she has said that. She just don't get it that am someone who does not eat that much.

I looked at the dish and it was filled with my favourite food , fried rice ,salad and chicken.

I quickly sat down while Mercy was laughing . I hissed at her and continue devouring the food in front of me.

Later in the evening , Femi and I chatted and he told me that he will give me enough time to think .

I still don't get why a cute handsome guy like that is asking me out.

When he first sent me that message I was about to press yes immediately but I calmed my ass down and thought about it. The only thing worrying me is the fact that is he serious.

It was finally Monday and even though I hated Monday , I still couldn't wait for it during the weekend.

I wanted to tell Angel and Liz what happened and if you guys are wondering why I can't just call them well I like to talk face to face when am saying something serious. And well this is something serious.

"Mercy be fast na ." I said again as I sat down on one of the sofa in the sitting room .

"Calm down jare , wetin do you this morning." She responded back as she entered the sitting room.

"I no blame you " I said as I stood up and entered the car.

Immediately the driver parked , opened the door and left Mercy  who was still pressing her phone.

I entered my class and as usual my friends were talking , immediately Liz saw me , she stood up and hugged me.

"Idara you won't believe what happened." Liz mama always having something that someone won't believe.

"What happened?" I asked her as I hugged Angel , dropped my bag and sat down beside her.

"Well Daniel and I are official and I still can't believe it . "

"Really ??that's nice ." I said back truly happy for her .

"Yeah I know and am so happy ." She said back . I noticed Angel wasn't saying anything.

"Angel what's up .?" "Nothing , am just tired of answering all her questions when she starts ranting." She said as she laughed .

"Guys I kinda need your opinion on something. " Liz quickly faced me .

"Sure , what's wrong ??" "Okay." Liz and Angel both said at the same time.

I cleared my throat "well Femi asked me out on a date and I told him I would think about it , he also told me he likes me . "

Liz and Angel stared at me open mouthed "are you fucking serious?" Liz said

"Yeah. "

After a minute of staring between the both of them , Angel decides to break the silence"are you serious??"

"Does it look like am not ?" I answered back frustrated with how they were acting.

"Well , you are the first girl Femi asked out since they transferred here." Liz explained.

"Transferred?? I asked surprised

"Yeah , they transferred here in SS2 second term . After a week they became the most popular boys. But let's leave that one , my question right now is why the hell would you tell him you want to think about it??"

Liz said again talking as if she was rapping.

"Because I want to think about it , what's there not to think about ." I answered back.

Angel shaked her head and said "I don't even get you . Don't you like him too. "

"I don't know."   "Well me I know , I saw how you two were acting in the plane like a couple."

I froze my next sentence as I heard a familiar voice calling my name "hey , do you mind if I borrow Idara of you . "

I looked back and it was Femi , he pointed at the door as he left.

I excused myself from my cooing friends I swear they are crazy.

"Hey ." I said as I joined him at the balcony . "Hi ."   "So why did you call me ??"  " I wanted to give you something."

"Okay give me. " I asked , what does he even want to give me .

" I can only give you when we go on a date." He answered back with a smirk.

"Guy calm down na , you told me yesterday that you would give me time to think."I answered back with a smirk of my own .

"I've given you time na , I just can't wait for the answer...." I laughed at what he said .

"Okay since it's a date , yeah ." I said as I turned to leave . Before I could leave the class he held my hand

"you serious??" "Yeah does it look like am not ."  I said back with a smile .

"Really , yes . Thanks for saying yes ." He said as he hugged me . "I said yes to go on a date not to officially date you. " I tried to explain since his smile was too much.

"I know , do you think am a fool.

I will send you the details about our date later . " He said as he pecked my cheek and left the class.

I was left there , early in the morning touching my cheek like a mumu(fool).

I snapped back to reality and left for my class.

I was finally at home , well today was filled with different drama , like when I entered the class and my two amebos ( gist partners) like you know started asking me questions.

After taking a shower and eating dinner , I went to the sitting area in my room to do my assignment.

Immediately I on my data , different messages from Facebook, wattsap , even notifications from wattpad.

I sighed as I opened my wattsap to see a message from  Femi .

Femi😎;  hey the date is on wednesday I will pick you when it's 3 :00pm and where we are going is a surprise . 😊

We always closed 1:00pm on Wednesday and Friday so it was convenient ,my parents were also travelling this week.

But the best reason is Tuesday is Nigeria indepence day and so it's a public holiday so a free day to prepare.

Me ; just don't take me to babalawo ooo 😂😂😂 and don't let your head burst because you are taking me out on a date.

It was not up to a minute another message entered my phone.

Femi😎;  my head have burst oo .😂😂

Anyway thanks for saying yes .

Awwwwwn  , he is so cute . I blushed  when I remembered what Angel and Liz said .

I stared at the message , smiling at the kiss emoji he used . I didn't know he had this part in him before .

I dropped my phone and continued my assignment to pass away time till he comes online.

When I was done with everything, he still wasn't online , I sent him a goodnight and went to sleep .

I was feeling tired , I woke up with headache but I didn't want to be the only one at home today so I came.

Liz and I were walking in the hall  when the queen bees stopped us  , their leader , Britney stood in front of me.

"I've been hearing news about you and Femi . " I didn't have time for her shit again

"And so ??"  "Are you fucking okay ?? Everyone in this school knows Femi is mine."

"Well am not one to fight for boy like a jobless person so go ask him if he is yours and am sure it's a no........"

I wanted to continue but was cut off by someone turning me and dragging me somewhere.

Let me tell her what is true I kept on muttering in my mind.

Hi everyone , it's been a long time and am so sorry , school has taken lot of my time .

Well another update will be on Tuesday and  would be about their date , who is excited??
