Ahana picked up Naira in her arms who was still crying. She grabbed Ansh's hand who grabbed Aryan's hand as they headed to the car. Ahana put all their bags in the passenger seat as she and the kids settled down in the back. She gave the driver directions to the next destination while she started to console Naira.
Ahana:"baby its okay. we shouldn't waste our precious tears on random people. See you should be happy na that u have a big brave brother to always protect you"
Ansh:"Mumma I will also protect her she is my sister now na"
Ahana:"yes baby you should always protect each other and fight for what's right.(she wipes Naira's tears )"okay Naira stop crying or these boys will think we girls are crybabies "
Naira:"but are not crybabies mumma "
Ahana:"Yeah baby. We are not crybabies especially my princess. she is a strong girl "
Ansh:"mumma you promised that we will watch a movie today"
Ahana:"So we are going their only na baby"(turning to Aryan and Naira )"What movie should we watch"
Naira:"I wanna watch Frozen 2"
Ansh:"mumma I want to watch shrek "
Ahana:"And what do you want to want Aryan"(he just shakes his head no. Ahana Signs as they reach the theater.)
Driver:"maam we are here."(Ahana looks out then takes her phone and drops a message to Neil saying the kids her with her)
Ahana:"Okay Thank you. It will take us 2 - 3 hours. "
Driver:"Don't worry ma'am I will wait near the food court "
Ahana:"Alright. Come kids let's go"( The kids get down and they enter the building.)"So what about Lion king. "(She said as Ansh and Naira weren't agreeing on one movie )
Naira/Ansh:"Yes.."(They said excitedly while Ahana smiled. She also saw a small smile of excitement come on Aryan face as well which pleased her )
Ahana:"Okay. Aryan can you take care of Ansh and Naira for 2 min. All 3 of you sit here. I will go get the tickets"(They nodded. Ahana got the tickets and some popcorn and juice for the kids. After that they went in the theater room and settled down in their seats)
Ahana was sitting between Ansh and Naira while Aryan sat ok the other said of Naira. The movies soon started the the excitement was clearly shown on the kids face. After 2 hours the movie ended and Ahana and kids settled down in the car to head towards Malhotra mansion.
Ahana:"So how was the movie. "
Naira:"Good"
Ansh:"best"
Aryan:"amazing "(as soon as he said the he realized what he did and looks down)
Ahana:"Well that good."(With this small talk They reached home.)
Ahana got down from the car and headed in with the kids. All the kids were busy in themselves singing Hakuna matata while Ahana just smiled. Soon her smiled disappeared as she saw a tensed atmosphere in Malhotra Mansion. Hearing the voice of the kids Neil turned around and runs and hugs Aryan and Naira.
Neil:"Baby are you okay"
Aryan:"Yeah dad what happened "
Neil:"Where were you "
Ansh:"Papa we went to watch a movie "
Naira:"lion king"(Neil looked at them and hugged them once again this time pulling Ansh into the hug as well)
Angali:"shruti Takes the kids in their room. Ansh you also go"(Shruti took the kids to their room while an angry Neil turned towards Ahana)
Neil:"Where the hell were you. I called you 10 times couldn't you answer."(he yelled to which Ahana flinched and started searching for her phone)
Angali:"Neil.."(She said sternly. Ahana sees 10 miss calls from Neil)
Ahana:"Actually my phone was in my purse on silent mood. I had to switch it to silent mood due to the movie."
Neil:"What about Mohan (referring to the driver). Why wasn't he picking up"(Neil had lowered his voice but it was still cold and stern)
Ahana:"how would I know..he was waiting in the food court "
Neil:"Mohan...Mohan"( He yelled while Ahana by now had tears in her eyes)
Mohan:"yes sir"
Neil:"Why can't you pick your phone up "
Mohan:"Sir my phone was broken this morning. I told you right"
Neil:(He remembers and rubs his temples )"Shit.. Yeah I remember. Anyways you go"
Angali:"Beta I was telling you to came down. Ahana would have taken care of the kids"
Neil:"But she could atleast inform one of us about the movie plan.(turning to Ahana )" you dont have an idea how worried I was"
Ahana:(Frustrated and in tears)"I did inform you Mr. malhotra I did. I messaged you that we are going to watch a movie. I even Wrote which theater just incase. I also know that you love your kids and were worried for them but it not my fault you didn't check your messages "(Neil checked his messages and sighs)
Neil:" I ..I"
Ahana:(Yelling )"Ansh...Ansh.."
Ansh:(comes running )"Yes mumma.."
Ahana:"come baby lets go"
Ansh:"mumma why are you crying"
Ahana:"no baby something went in my eyes. it's okay let's go.."
Angali:"Ahana beta I am sorry"
Ahana:"No maa it's okay. I should have just messaged all of you "
Angali:"no beta. You did nothing wrong. "
Ahana:"okay maa I should go mom and dad will be waiting at home"
Angali:"hmm.."(She hummed patting Ansh's cheeks)"Neil drop her safely "
Ahana:"no need maa"
Angali:"no more discussion Ahana, Neil is dropping you."(She said giving Neil a you better apologize to her look. Ahana nodded and bid by to Everyone before heading out. )
The car ride back was very awkward. Ahana sat quietly looking out the window while Ansh kept talking about the movie to Neil who answered to Ansh but his whole mind was stuck on Ahana. As soon as they reached Ahana and Ansh got down. Ansh wished bye to Neil and rushed in as Ahana also started to follow but was stopped by his voice.
Neil:"umm... Ahana."(She turns to him)
Ahana:"hmm"
Neil:"I am sorry. I.. I should have yelled at you like that. I was just worried. (he takes a breath in and releases it beforw continuing ) since Aarti..left...I was lost. I have never given my kids responsibility to anyone else. From small things to big I have taken care of it. Even when there was a big meeting or big deal I would cancel it if it comes in between me and my kids. Today out of no where this issue came up. I tired to get dad or sid to do it but everyone was busy. I had no choice but to attend the meeting. That why I called Preeti. Throughout the whole meeting my mind didn't leave from the kids. After I reached home I got to know that you still haven't dropped the kids home. I got worried. My mind wasn't working and I..I yelled at you. I am sorry"
