Ahana nodded as she buried her face in Neil's chest trying to forget the subject. Some moments of silence stayed between the couple before the phone's ring tone broke the silence. Ahana sighs as she picked up her phone and answers the call.
Ahana:"Hello?"
Rajeev:"Ahana"( She heard Rajeev's voice from the other end freezing her on her spot while Neil looked on confused )
Ahana:"Ra...rajeev?"
Neil looked at Ahana's shocked as she stared towards him with a conflicted face. Anger rose in Neil as he understood Ahana's conflict. Neil held Ahana's hand as he signaled her as if asking her if he should talk to Rajeev. Ahana shoke her head as she calmed herself down.
Ahana:(Cold stern voice)"What do you want"
Rajeev:"Ahana. you....you got to meet me. I"
Ahana:"What more is left Rajeev. You. "( Before she could complete Neil held her hand and nodded no)
Ahana looked at Neil confused as to why he stopped her. Anger boiled in Ahana remembering all the revelation that were made that day. Rajeev's deeds came in her thoughts one by one but she didn't say anything. She knew Neil had a reason for his actions. She may not know it now but she trusted him. Ahana closed her eyes trying to relax herself before she put the phone on speaker.
Rajeev:"Ahana I know i shouldn't have talked to you like that but you need to realize that I just.... You got married dammit. Ahana was my love that weak that you moved on so fast"( Ahana could feel Rajeev controlling his tone to the best he could. She also understood the fact that he knows nothing about the fact that she knows everything)" Hello ba...I mean Ahana?"
Neil looked at Ahana who was emotionless at the moment. She wanted nothing to do with this man and his fake acting was making her anger raise more. Plus her mood swings weren't helping. Neil pulled her in his embrace as he rubbed her shoulders with his hands trying to calm her down as he encouraged her to answer.
Rajeev:"Ahana? You there?"
Ahana:"What do you want Rajeev "
Rajeev:"I .. I want to meet you. And Ansh. It's been long Ahana. I want our family"
Ahana:"There is no our family anymore Rajeev. I have moved on if you forgot."( Ahana cut Rajeev off as she spoke in a stern voice)
Rajeev:"Ahana please...just onces I...it's important Ahana."( Neil frowned not liking the idea while Ahana thought of something)
Ahana:"Okay"(She answered shocking Neil and Rajeev)
Rajeev:"really... great how about..."
Ahana:"Tomorrow...I'll send you the location. Bye"( Ahana cut the call)
Neil:"Why would you do that Ahana. You.... you can't meet him. Ahana you know how dangerous he is."
Ahana:"I have to Neil. It's the only way. I need answers Neil. And At one point I have to confront my past if I want close it. "
Neil:"You don't get it shona it is dangerous. He...he can harm you..plus your pregnant. No...I...I...can't let this happen. No way in hell you meeting him."( He said expressing his fear)
Ahana:"Heyy...it's okay Neil. I'll be fine I promise. You will be there with me Neil. Just not next to me but you will be close. I know nothing will happen to me as long as you are there"( She said cupping his cheeks as she tried to reassure him)
Neil:"No Ahana. No matter what I can't risk your life nor our baby's"
Ahana:"Neil...listen to me..."
Ahana tried to reason with Neil but he just got up and left to the balcony for some fresh air. Ahana sighed as she looked at her phone then the back of Neil figure. She texted Rajeev the location and time for tomorrow before again gazing at Neil. She knew he won't like this but she had to do this for her parents. For Aarti. For her family...For Neil...and for herself.
Next day.....
11AM at woodlake park Near Malhotra House, Ahana sat on the bench watching the empty park in the cloudy weather. Few kids were playing on the swing but other then that it was empty and quite.
She was waiting for Rajeev. Sitting alone as she stared at the kids play her mind wondered on her future. Her baby with resided in her. Her mind wondered on how he or she will be. How the baby's relation with Neil be and With Ansh, Aryan, And Naira be. Ahana had always heard that having the second baby makes the first one feels insecure but now that instead of just Ansh, Even Naira and Aryan are there. Will she be able to handle all 4 of them without making anyone feel left out. As her mind roamed on random thoughts, she felt a hand rest on her shoulder causing her to jump at her place and turn around. There stood Rajeev.
Rajeev:"Hey..."( He said as he came and sat next to her, to close for her liking.)
Ahana:"Speak what you want"( She said as she got up and stood at a distance)
Rajeev:"Oh common Ahana. It's been years since you have seen me. No Hug or anything."
Ahana:( laughs sarcastically)" Hug? You know I agree with Papa now. You have no shame left alot "
Rajeev:"Shame? Why what did I dooo"
Ahana:"oh I don't know how about cheating on my while I was pregnant with Ansh"( Rajeev froze )
Rajeev:"You know?"
Ahana:"Why Rajeev? Why? All you had to do was tell me that you have someone else in you life. I would have happily left you for you happiness. Guess how it feels to see you ex-husband back from the dead and right after that getting a call from his girlfriend and learning about his cheating deeds."
Rajeev:(more confused)"So..sonia called you"
Ahana:"Yes...She said I stool you from her. Apparently my so called husband oh sorry ex husband was cheating on me for years"
Rajeev:"Ahana...I...it's all a misunderstanding. Listen to me...I...It was a mistake"
Ahana:"Really now. "( She Asked fake astonished)
Rajeev:"Ahana trust me it's nothing like that. Ahana she...She.."
Ahana:"It doesn't matter anymore now Rajeev. Prabha maa and Papa had me move on. And Apparently they hate you for reason now which i don't know but what ever you want Rajeev it won't happen. It can't happen now. It's over between us. So please stop trying to contact me"( She started to leave when Rajeev held her hand)
Rajeev:"Wait Ahana we can make this work. I want you back in my life Ahana. I can do anything for it. I have a plan"
Ahana:"What... We can't Rajeev. I am married forgod sake. "
Rajeev:"You wont be soon if we follow my plan"
Ahana:" And what is this plan?"
Rajeev:"Oh leave that to me sweetheart but are you in"
Ahana:"No...Rajeev all I ever wanted was to be yours since college. After your betrayal.. I can't trust you anymore. Heck you know I would have left everyone for you but you left me"
Rajeev:"No no no baby listen...I..I can fix this"
Ahana:"tell me how..I can't trust you if you can't be honest with me"
Rajeev:"By murder"
Ahana:"What!?"
Rajeev:"We can kill Neil... take him out of the way."
Ahana:"How...we can't Rajeev....Murder is a crime we .. we will get caught we don't even have experience"
Rajeev:(Sighed)"I do"
Ahana:"What?"
Rajeev:"Few years back I had killed few people. It wasn't my fault they were in the way. Killing is not a crime when done for benefit Ahana. We have to kill Neil to be together"(Ahana stood slightly shocked looking at Rajeev before a smile broke upon her face)
Ahana:"You not joking right. We can be together after that... I...I can be free. "( She said happily making Rajeev grin and nod yes)" But still... Rajeev I...I want to trust you but I can't... You will leave me again. "
Rajeev:"no..no I wont baby..I came back for you"
Ahana:"No it's just probably for Ansh"
Rajeev:"No Ahana. I don't even know Ansh to be honest. But I know you. I love you. "
Ahana:"I'll believe you. If you tell me what happened all these years and why you cheated on me and who..who did you kill. Please the truth this time Rajeev. I don't care what you have done in the past. I want us to be together but for that you need to tell me the truth"
Rajeev:"I....I..was mislead Ahana by sonia.. She..she was a cunning women. Hs trapped me in her trap. "
Ahana:"Enough Rajeev enough. Your lying Again. If Sonia was such a cunning women then why do mom and dad asked so horrible towards you. They said you committed a crime."
Rajeev:"I didn't... I mean.. I.. did..ii"( Rajeev was getting confused by these rapid questions and accusations. He couldn't find a way to handle the situation)
Ahana:"You know I was happy that your alive but then reality hit me. Rajeev you don't even know but i fought my parents to get married to you. I hated them for almost separating us and this is what you do. You yourself push me away. Luckily they died in the accident that day or they would have killed me for your action"
Rajeev:"Oh they were ment to die that day."
Ahana:"What?"
Rajeev:"Yeah.. Hell you should be thankful I killed them that night"
Ahana looked on shocked at how proudly Rajeev was stating this fact. He was proud of the fact that he had killed her parents. He was a murder and he didn't regret one bit of his actions. What a inhuman monster was he.
Rajeev:"baby?"
Ahana:(Composing her self)"Yeah...yeah...I am just shocked. You seriously killed my parents "
Rajeev:"Yeah... heck I have other people too"(He said in smirking tone)
Ahana:"I feel like I know nothing about you Rajeev. But hell I like this Rajeev more. Tell me everything "( She said excitedly)
And that broke all hesitation. Rajeev one by one explained everything. All his crime and all his motive came out in front of Ahana as clear as water.
Rajeev:"See Ahana I have experience after 3 murders I can surely kill Neil easily. Ansh already has property of Maa and Papa in his name. All we need to do is get Neil to transfer his in your name and then We won't need anyone. We will be rich as heck Ahana. Think of it"
He explained everything excitedly while Ahana looked at him with a smile. Ahana Started at him for few mins before she started to clap her hands.
Ahana:"Mind blowing Rajeev. Just Amazing. All you deeds and Plan are just... what can I say.. Over the top "
Rajeev:"Oh I know sweetheart. Now we should start to execute our plan"
Ahana:"Oh don't worry I already have started that"( She smirked)
Rajeev:"What? But how...I just explained it now"
Ahana:"Don't worry about it. You just wait and watch."
Ahana smiled as she looked down at her hand in which she wore her engagement ring. She looked smiling at Rajeev or so he thought. Behind Rajeev stood Neil, hidden behind the tree smirking as he took the bluetooth out of his ears and smiled at Ahana as he blow her a flying kiss to which she blushed slightly looking down before she composed herself and look at Rajeev.
