Ahana head started to ache as she started to feel dizzy with all the information swirling in her mind. Her eyes landed on Neil who was still in his previous position and a horrifying thought came in her mind before her vision blacked out and she fell on the couch behind her.
Ahana's Head pounded as she heard faint voices near her. Nothing seemed clear though. The voices rang in her head making the situation worse. She groaned a little as she tried to open her eyes but failed as she met bright light.
She heard her named being called out by multiple voices as she again slowly adjusted her eyes to the light. As she looked at the ceiling seeing Hospital walls and Ceiling. She flickered her eyes to the concerned family members face and everything clicked her. She had fainted. All the revelations made before came rushing in her mind. Neil...Where was he.
Ahana let her eyes wonder from person to person. She saw Prabha Maa and Angali maa seated next to her looking at her with worried face. Behind them stood the rest of the family except for the kids Neil and Rohan.
Sid:"Bhabhi? Are you better?"
Ahana:"I..(coughs)" Water "
Angali made her drink water while Rahul helped the bed incline forward so Ahana could sit properly. Ahana eyes wonders around the room as her mind filled with multiple questions.
Where was Neil?
Was this truth really having such a impact of their relationship?
Will he leave her?
Is it really her fault?
Maybe it is...Maybe due to her only Rajeev did all this. And his actions not only cost the life of her parents and Aarti but also ruined the life of 2 whole family's and especially Neil's.
What was gonna happen from this point on?
How was she to live now without Neil?
She knew she wouldn't survive if she had to. She had already been broken once and now her heart can't take more.
What will happened to Ansh, Aryan and Naira?
She can't stay without them. They had became their life and what about the ba..Baby! Omg the baby.
Ahana panicked as the thought of losing the small life came in her mind. She immediately looked down and placed her hand on her stomach feeling her bump. Tears filled her eyes as she looked at Her mother for answers.
Prabha:( Hugging Ahana)" Hey...hey it's okay the baby is fina Ahana don't worry."
Ahana:"But I.. I fainted... Will it effect.."
Angali:"Relax beta..calm down everything is okay. The baby is fine and you fainted due to too kuch stress. You have been out for a whole day"
Ahana:"What!?"
Voice:"Ahana"(A voice rang in the room, as The door busted open revealing a panting Neil who looked up at Ahana with tears in his eyes)" Oh thank God.."(He whispered to himself seeing Ahana finally up after a day)
The family members excused themselves out of the room leaving the couple for some privacy. Ahana looked down worried. She felt multiple emotions rush through her and multiple thought asking her for a decision. Her pregnancy wasn't helping either. They were just enhancing her emotions more.
As the family left and closed the door behind them. Neil moved forward and Sat down on the stool near the bed. He looked guilty of something which made Ahana's heart break into pieces thinking of the possibility.
Neil:"Ah...Ahana I.. I "
Ahana:"don't Neil. Please don't I won't be able to handle it."
Neil:"Ah.."
Ahana:"If this is how it has to end then okay. I...I am sorry Neil. Sorry for every hurting moment in you life. I am sorry you had to lose Aarti ji due to me. I am sorry you had to live years like this while feeling dead inside. I am sorry my...my past has had this big of a impact on you life. Even Aryan and Naira's. They lost their mother because I...."( Ahana sighed)
Neil tried to speak up but Ahana again cut him off as she started to speak while staring at her finger, looking at her engagement ring.
Ahana:( Crying)"Ma...maybe I.. don't deserve you or anyone. Maybe that is my destiny to lose everyone I ever loved dearly."
Neil:"No Ahana it's not that I.. "
Ahana:"It's okay Neil I truly do understand. I know you feel the anger for Aarti's dead. She was you first love and always will be. I also know this is all somehow related to me. All of it is. And Neil whatever you decision is I agree to it fully. It's okay if you want...wan..."( She choked on her tears nothing being able to say the words from her mouth)" It.. it's okay if you want to leave me."( She said closing her eyes in sorrow) " The only request I have from you is to not restrict me from See Aryan or Naira from time to time. It's....I.. if you want I won't show myself to you ever again so you don't have to live with horrifying memories attached to me"
Neil:"Are you done?"
Neil spoke with a stern voice causing Ahana to look at Neil. She saw a emotionless Neil sitting looking at her. She really couldn't tell what he was feeling at the moment.
Ahana:(She looked down at her hands and whispered)"Yes"
Neil:"Good. Now what were you saying you will leave. From you words I presume taking Ansh and the baby with you?"
Ahana:"I..."( She didn't say anything else as she couldn't form the words to)
Neil:"Ahana so you really think I'll let you take my son and my baby away from myself
Ahana:"But...ansh...( She sighed staying quite for few moments before she spoke up)"Okay I'll leave Ansh and The ...baby as well after it's birth. Anyways they would be better of without me ( She mumbled the last part to herself but Neil heard it)
Neil:( Almost yelling as his patients broke)" For god sakes Ahana do you really think I care so less for you. Damn it man. I have told you 100s of time that I love you haven't I. Still you have such...such horrifying thoughts. Weren't you the one who made me promise to never leave you no matter what. Well then I'll give the answer to your suggestion. No NO I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU. Not now and Not ever. You know why? Because I love you Ahana. I LOVE YOU"
Ahana looked at Neil startled by his voice and his each words hit her hard as she tears followed from her eyes of relief. The thoughts of being away from Neil and Her kids scared her. She knew she wouldn't make it out alive if it ever happened. Ahana looked at Neil before throwing her arms arms him, hugging him tightly as her life depended on it.
Ahana:(Crying in his embrace as she tried to find comfort)"I...I am so sorry Neil...I...I thought you..you will leave me because Raje....rajeev...I...I am so sorry...please please forgive me for my stupidity. I...it my fault I.. I hurt you again..I.. "
Neil:( Wrapping his arms around Ahana as She sobbed in his arm)"Shh..Shhh Ahana it's okay...I..I know your pregnancy Hormones are also escalating your emotions and I know your insecurities aren't helping either but please remember one thing very clearly Ahana. Now no matter what storms come our way we will always fight them together. Yes there might be times you are wrong and there might be times I am wrong. Even in such times we will stick together and show the other person the right path. Okay. Neither one of us is leaving each other so please take this thought out of you head once and for all. Okay"( Ahana nodded her head in his neck)
Neil pulls back from the hug and wipes Ahana tears kissing her forehead, before he forwards his Pinky finger towards Ahana who looks at it in confusion.
Neil:"Promise?"
Ahana:(Smiles a little)"Pinky promise "( She intertwined her Pinky with his locking this promise forever in their hearts)
Neil:"As for earlier, I am sorry I felt a little distant, It...it's just the truth was too much to handle"
Ahana:"I am sorry it my f..."( Neil cut her off)
Neil:"No shona it isn't your fault okay? It all that bastards fault and don't worry. I'll get you, Aarti, Your parents, Ansh, And even Prabha Maa and Paa justice."( He said with a angered expression directed at Rajeev)
Ahana:"no... Not only you alone. We ...we will get them justice "
Neil smiled and nodded while Ahana held his hands and pulled him closer so that he sat on the bed. She snuggled into his chest trying to find some peaceful moments from all the chaotic onces that had been happening for the past 24 hours or longer. Neil as well relaxed wrapping his hands around her while on of it landed on her pregnancy bump.
Neil thought wondered of to yesterday when the truth was revealed about Aarti. He remembered how stump he was after knowing it. Nothing made since at the point. His mind had gone blank as multiple thought ran in his mind. He wanted to murder that Rajeev with his bare hands for killing Aarti. For endangering Ansh's life. For everything Ahana had gone through. For her parents. Before he could even pull himself together, He heard Shruti and Prabha shout Ahana name. He came out of his thoughts to see Ahana fall on the sofa. He caught her in time saving her from a hard it but his mind went blank again.
Seeing the love of his life lay almost lifeless In his arms scared him to death. He rushed her towards his car, And Rahul drove them to the hospital while other followed In the car behind. Neil felt scared but at the same time ashamed as if he had paid even a little bit of attention, He could have consulted Ahana. He knew how her mind isn't working at it's best at the moment and on top of that the pregnancy was having its effect.
As they reached the hospital, Neil rushed Ahana towards the doctor, who took her in the room to examine not before telling the family members to wait outside. After 2 Hours which seemed more so like 20, The doctor came out with good news. He said that Ahana and The baby were fine. Ahana had too much stress which she couldn't bare so her mind decide to shut itself of to help her. The doctors said that they did everything they could and now the only thing they could do was wait. Wait for Ahana to wake up. And if she doesn't wake up in less then 48 hours then there are chances of going into coma.
This freaked Neil out more. The whole day he sat by Ahana, For hours just staring at her, telling her to wake up. Talking to the baby. But nothing happened. Like this it become the next day. Angali and Prabha convinced him to go home and freshen up and meet the kids, As from the day before the kids were crying for their mom and dad and Rohan was having a hard time handling them.
Though Neil didn't want to leave, He had to for the kids. It had only been about 1 hours since he was at home when, Sid called stating that Ahana had woken up. Neil rushed back to the hospital, And As he entered he saw the love of his life looking so weak and in another emotional state.
He was relieved that even after such hard times his family was together and safe. The words for Ahana did shock him to core. How could she think he will leave her. He would rather die then do it. He also understood that she blames herself for all the events that has happened in their life.
As If now he stared at the calm face of Ahana who slept in his arms peaceful. He moved her strand behind her ears before his kissed her forehead. That moment he promised himself to never let Ahana or any of his kids ever get hurt by that Rajeev. He will give them justice and things will go back to normal. He knew the storm wasn't over yet but it will soon be and he will make sure everyone he loves to get through it together.
