Ahana laughs More loudly, Hearing his cliche flirting causing Neil to grin as he admired her Smile. As Ahana was walking a little front of Neil, She turned around to look at him with a smile as she walked backwards.
Neil:" Ahana walk straight, you will hurt yourself"
Ahana:( Nodded as she was about to turn around when a person, who was talking of the phone came in the opposite direction and bumped into Ahana)" Sor...."(Ahana froze while Neil rushed to Ahana.)
Neil:"Ahana are you okay... Ahana?"( He looked to see her shocked face. He looked forwards and seeing the person in front of him, He froze as well as his hand left Ahana's)
Ahana:"Y...you"
Neil:"Ho ...how ..is ...this...possible"
Ahana and Neil looked in shock as they stared at the person, to be precious The man, from their past.
Ahana:"Ra...Raje..rajeev?"
Ahana was speechless as the world around her comes crashing down. Her first husband stood in front of her after about 7 years, with a smile on his face as he looked at Ahana.
Rajeev:" Hey Baby! Surprised aren't you. Well it would have been a better surprise if we had met as planned at home in few hours. I was gonna get a surprise gift for you and Ansh. Well guess, your surprise got spoiled but Ansh's hasn't. By the way where is it? At home? Oh he must have grown alot right.
As Rajeev kept talking Ahana stood in a trance not being able to understand who was the man that stood in front of her or how was he even here. While Neil as well was rooted in one spot seeing Rajeev. The man he had only seen in photos now stood face to face with him.
Neil came out of a trance when a car horn rang in the background. He looked back at Rajeev to see him still standing their with a smile. Neil turned towards Ahana who was froze. Automatically Neil's hand went on Ahana's shoulder bringing her out of the trance as she looked towards Neil and tears started to fill her eyes.
Rajeev frowned seeing Neil's hands on Ahana as he didn't understand who Neil was. Rajeev started to say something only to be cut of by Neil, who had seen the bad condition of Ahana and Couldn't take any Risk with her condition. Right now nothing mattered except Ahana.
Neil:"Look....The....the situation is ...well...pretty messed up right now but I...I need to get Ahana home. You go home and we.. we will take later."
Rajeev:( Frowned)" What home..Who are you.. I'll take my wife home. You can leave"
Ahana:(Who was by now feeling dizzy)" Neil...I...don...home..please "
Neil picked up Ahana in his arms and he walked fast towards his car and made Ahana sit in. All this while Rajeev followed Them as he got angry.
Rajeev:"Dude what the f..."( He was cut of Neil who shut Ahana's door )
Neil:"Rajeev listen here. I know you are confused. Trust me man I am more confused the you are but right now Ahana health matter much more then anything to me. So get the hell out of my way "( He yelled as he sat in his side of the car and started the car to home)
The drive home was full of anxious silence. Ahana had calmed down a little but her mind wasn't at peace. Tears rolled down her eyes as flashes and the reality of Rajeev being alive hit her. While Neil's situation was same. He didn't know what was to happen now. Where will his life go from now. More over the big question that kept going through his head was how.. How was Rajeev alive. And if He was alive then where was he for the past 6 years.
Ahana looked down at her stomach with teary eyes. Neil looked towards and saw her hand on over her stomach. Why why was destiny playing such a game with them. Finally Neil and Ahana were happy in their life with their kids and even a new born baby which was to soon enter in their world and extend their happiness more. But now...everything had shattered in just moments.
Ahana and Neil reached home after what seemed like 5 hours. They both sat in the car so confused as what to do.
Neil:( Turning to Ahana)" A...Ahana...I..."
Ahana:"Neil... please call Prabha Maa and Papa home. I.. "
Neil:"I'll do it..."
Ahana:(She looked at Neil and tears again filled her eyes.)" I...I am sorry Neil..all this is sooo"
Neil:( hugged Ahana as he pulled her into his embrace trying to soothe her.)" Shh I know the situation is horrible but we . ...we will get though it. Ahana no...no matter what you do in the future... I'll try my best to support you. Even if it's from afar"( He said the last part trying to control his emotions but they could clearly be seen by the way his voice choked between words)
Ahana:( Ahana pulled back and she gave a hard push to Neil making him startled)" You idiot, you monster, you want to leave me huh?"( She said hitting her small hands on his chest)
Neil:"Baby I..."
Ahana:" What I...Neill...I love you... You promised me that you won't leave me... even if I wanted for you too.. Then.... then how can you think I...."( Her sentence was cut of in the middle as Neil pulled her closer by holding her hands and smacked his lip on her)
Neil:(He broke the kiss after few mins while Ahana had calmed down by now)" Sorry Shona...I will never leave you. I keep my promise always... It's just so sudden that Rajeev....Welll he is alive. I don't know how but he was your first love and .."
Ahana:" Yes your right. He was my first love but take a note of the key word 'Was'. Past tense Neil. You ARE my true love now. I...I have moved on from him Neil. Well yes I am shocked and somewhere happy as well that he is alive but Neil never once did I think of our separation."
Neil:(Kissing her forehead)" I am sorry Shona of even thinking like that. Come let's head inside. You get some rest while I'll call Prabha Maa and Sanjeev papa home."
Ahana nodded as they exited the car and headed inside. Neil had called Prabha and Sanjeev to come home immediately. He had also informed Sid to pick the kids up and take them out for few hours.
As everyone was seated in the hall waiting for Prabha and Sanjeev, The Malhotra Family saw the tensed faces of Neil and Ahana. They tried to get the matter out but Neil just said to wait for sometime. Soon enough Prabha and Sanjeev entered. Seeing everyone's tensed face they themselves got tensed.
Prabha:"Wh.. what happened beta?"
Neil:"Maa first sit here..."( He made her and Sanjeev sit next to each other then sat next to Ahana)"Maa....we went to the mall today and we met someone .."(Neil looked at Ahana who nodded with a sad smile)" Maa... rajeev is alive "
Silence filled the room as the Malhotra family looked shocked and so did the Singh family.
Angali:"What?"
Ahana:"Maa I...I don't know how ... but. he...he is back...after 6 years.. "
Preeti:"But how can a dead person be alive just like that"
Prabha:"I ..I..."
Neil:"It's okay Maa we understand it must be hard for you to...well take this in"
Prabha nodded her head no with a teary face as she started to speak only to be stopped by Ahana who hugged her crying.
Ahana:"I am sorry mumma...papa...I...I.. dont know what to say... When we met him I went into a panick mode. I felt like getting...getting away from."
Prabha:"Ahana?"( she said pulling Ahana back and cupping her face)" what is it baccha... I can feel that you feel guilty for something "
Ahana:( Looking at Neil)"Maa I k...know that Rajeev is back bu...but I have moved on In my life. i...can't go back to the same life..."
Sanjeev:( Patting Ahana's head with teary eyes)" It's the right decision Baccha. You finally are happy and now no one..I repeat no one should take that away from you. Especially not your past."
Ahana smiled a little hugging Both Sanjeev and Prabha while Neil looked on getting more confused each second. Why did Prabha and Sanjeev act so calm after hearing their son being alive. A normal couple would be crying to tears, begging to meet their son. But here they seemed more concerned about Ahana then Rajeev.
Neil:"Papa don...don't you want to Meet him."
Sanjeev:( In anger)" Never..."( He yelled causing everyone to jump. No one had seen him so angry before)
Ahana:(confused as well)" Papa?"
Prabha:"Sanjeev I think it's high time we tell them the truth. It already too late, we can't wait more."
Sanjeev:( Claming down a little)" I agree"
Angali:"What truth Prabha ji"
Prabha:"A truth that has been hidden for 7 years. A truth that... that Is binded to That tragic night that changed Ahana's life. A truth that also is connected to Neil's past. A truth that we are scared could shake the whole relationship of Neil and Ahana"
This revelation stunned everyone. A fear gripped within them trying to think of possibilities of this truth. Specially Ahana and Neil stood frozen and worried as this truth may effect their relationship.
Neil:"What truth maa. How is it related to my past. How would that be possible "
Sanjeev:"It is beta. We are soo sorry we hid this from you but that's what we felt was right at that time. But now I think the truth should be out"
Prabha and Sanjeev gave each other a nod before they turned to Ahana and Neil. They took a deep breath as they started the to talk .
Prabha:"Ahana might have told you all about how Her parents and Rajeev died...Well he not dead but still"
Neil looked at Ahana who closed her eyes at the mansion of harshful memories while The other nodded as they knew the basics of Ahana's past but not in full detail like Neil did.
Prabha:"Well 1 week before that Ahana, Ansh and Sanjeev and I went to the Mall area while Rajeev had work if you remember Ahana."( Ahana nodded recalling it)" That day your mom and Dad had gone to our house to meet you and Ansh. They had called in advanced but Sanjeev forgot to inform me."
Sanjeev:"That day they saw something which broke them to pieces "
Ahana:"What...maa and papa saw what Papa"
Sanjeev:"Somthing which eventually led to their death"( This stunned Everyone.)
Neil:"Papa wh.what are you saying" (He said as he side hugged Ahana who felt emotional less hearing this)
Sanjeev:" Beta that day Rajeev had..."( They were cut of by loud noise coming from outside and one of the guards rushing in)
Guard:"Sir a man wants to Meet Ahana Maam and Ansh Baba. He even said something about Sanjeev sahab"
Preeti:"Who could it be"
Ahana:"Rajeev"( The name left Ahana's mouth as everyone looked on shock)
Shruti:"But how can he be here"
Sanjeev:"He has the guts to come in front of me after all he has done"
Neil:"Papa you should..."
Sanjeev:"No Neil...I don't want to see that person"
Prabha:"Sanjeev calm down"
voice:(From behind)" Sir you can't come in....sir please....sir. I..."( Everyone turned to see Rajeev pushing the guard angrily as he walks in the house)
Rahul:( In anger seeing such a misbehaving seen)" Security! Where is the whole team"
Guard:"Sir they had gone to get lunch as they skipped it at lunch time. They should be back anytime. Sorry"(He said keeping his head down)
Rajeev:"What the hell are you doing with this man Ahana"( He yelled in anger)" You.. "( His words were cut of as a hard slap hit his face)
