After her conversation with Ahana, Prabha made Ansh eat. After dinner Ansh headed to Ahana's room while Prabha headed towards her room. In Ahana's room, Ahana made Ansh sleep. Soon after soom time she also fell asleep thinking about different things happening in her life.
Next morning Ahana woke up early in the morning as her usual routine. She freshened up and made Ansh's lunch. After finishing her stuff in kitchen she went to wake up Ansh. Ansh got up after 20 mins of pampering. After half and hour or so Ansh was all set ready to head home.
Ahana:"Ansh common let's go"
Ansh:(As he settled down in the vehicle and Ahana started to drive)"Mumma today also papa will pick us up"
Ahana:"No baby not today"
Ansh:(pouting)"Then how will I see him"
Ahana:"Ansh he has work right he can't meet u daily"
Ansh:(Sadly )"But we can talk to him right at night"
Ahana:(hearing his sad voice she signs)"Alright at night we can call him. Now no more sad sad."
Ansh:"Okayyy"
Ahana:(as they reach school)"Okay Ansh be a good boy. Finish ur lunch and yeah don't fight anyone okay."
Ansh:"Yes mumma "(kissing her cheeks )"bye mumma"(Ahana waved as Ansh run of inside the school)
Dropping Ansh to school, Ahana came back home. As soon as she entered her room her phone rang.
Ahana:(picking up the call)"yes papa..."
Sanjeev:" Beta I wanted to inform you that the presentation is due today and I would like it if you come to office and present it yourself "
Ahana:"Okay papa I'll be there in an hour "(She said before cutting the call. )
As soon as she cuts the call and keeps the phone on the dressing table it starts to ring again. Without seeing the caller she picks up the call and starts to talk.
Ahana:"Yes papa, what happened? Wait did u forget the pendrive for the presentation again?"
Caller:"Ahhh Ahana it's me Neil "(Ahana's eyes widens in shock as she looks at the caller to see a unknown number )
Ahana:(nervously )"Ahh Neil , I am sorry I...I thought it was dad...I am sorry.."
Neil:"Its okay. Anyways I needed to talk about something"
Ahana:"Yeah go on"
Neil:"So mom told me that Pandit ji decided 2 dates and our parents want us to decide. That why mom gave me your number."
Ahana:(slowly )"oh yeah..."
Neil:"So I was thinking that because we are doing this for the kids I am sure you won't want a grand wedding or so"
Ahana:"yeah I would prefer a simple one"
Neil:"great. Also I was thinking we should finish this as soon as possible because I think the faster all this marrige thing ends the better for the kids."
Ahana:"Yes I agree. We are doing this for Ansh Naira Arayn. And getting married as soon as possible is the right thing as if now."
Neil:"great so I'll tell mom that we decided the marriage date to be after 2 weeks"
Ahana:"Yeah I'll inform maa too"
Neil:"hmm bye"
Ahana:"Ahh Neil actually "
Neil:"Yeah?"
Ahana:"Neil actually Aryan...I don't think he is really fond to ur second marriage "
Neil:(Sighs)"Yeah I also noticed his behavior. Its just that he has seen his mother and he still remembers her and replacing her with yo..."(before he can complete Ahana spoke)
Ahana:"Who is saying that I want to replace his mother. I will never replace his mother nor from his heart nor from that house. I just want to make my place somewhere in his heart and I promise how ever long that takes I will do it. I will do everything I can."
Neil:"And if u ever need my help. I'll help"
Ahana:"Thank you."(they stay on the call for few mins before Neil says he has a meeting and cuts the call)
Outside in the hall..
Ahana:"Maa I an going to office will be back by evening. "
Prabha:"Okay beta"
Ahana:(before she heads out of the house)" And maa I talked to Neil. We decided that we want a simple marriage and as early as possible."
Prabha:(with a smile)"Okay beta."
The rest of the day went by fast. Both Ahana and Neil were busy in there own worlds. After dinner Ahana went into Ansh's room to make him sleep.
Ahana:(entering his room to see him busy with his toys)"Okay Ansh did u brush..."
Ansh:"Yes mumma"
Ahana:"Great then common let's sleep.."
Ansh:"No mumma ur forget ur promise "
Ahana:"Promise?(She said trying to remember. after few seconds it clicks to her. The video call with Neil.)
Meanwhile in Malhotra house..
Neil:(Entering his kids room)"Aryan Naira common let's sleep"
Aryan:"10 min dad"
Neil:"No common you have school tomorrow "(He said as he led them to their bed and kissed there foreheads)
Naira:"papa can I talk to mumma before I sleep"
Neil:"beta they might be asleep "
Naira:"no I want to talk...plz papa"(before he can reply his phone rang)
Neil:(picking up the call)"Hello"
Ahana:(in a nervous voice)"hello hey Neil, I am sorry I hope I am not disturbing you"
Neil:"no I was just putting the kids to sleep"
Ahana:"oh actually Ansh he ...he wanted to talk...to you...actually I said no but he is not ready to sleep and "
Neil:"hey it's okay give him the phone I'll talk"
Ansh:"papa?"
Neil:(Smiles)"hey Ansh, how was ur day"
Ansh:"great papa, you know today I..."(Ansh continued to talke to his dad about his day with a smile while Neim listen to him patiently. Seeing Ansh and Neil ,Ansh decision of marriage was becoming stronger min by min.)
Naira:"Papa I also want to talk to mommy"
Neil:(nods)"Ansh do u know how to turn on the video call option on the phone"
Ansh:"yes papa"
Neil:"can you plz do it"
Ansh:"yes"(he said as he turn the voice call into a video call)"mumma see.."(he said bring the phone to Ahana who sat on the bed )
Ahana:"what happened baby.."
Ansh:"mumma say Hi to papa"(he said giving her the phone as she saw the video call on)
Ahana:"ah Hi.."
Neil:"Hi actually Naira wanted to..."(his voice was cut off by Naira jumping on her dad's back and almost yelling )
Naira:"Hiiiiii mumma.."
Ahana:"Hi princess. How are u"
Naira:"I am fine mumma "
Ahana:"Where ur brother ?"
Naira:"Here"(she said snatching the phone from Neil and running towards Aryan bed)
Ahana:(With a soft voice)"Hi Aryan "
Aryan:"hi"
Ansh:"Hii Aryan bhaiya, you know today I told this mean 1 st grader that I Also have a big brother. He used to tease me saying I am alone but now I have a brother and a sister "
Aryan:(Smiles forgetting the surrounding )"Don't worry Ansh if any one bullies you tell me."
Ansh:"okay bhaiya.."(they continued to talk)
Ahana:(in her mind)"Thank god atleast Aryan accepts Ansh. Now I just have to make my place in his heart. Hopefully before marriage "
