The girls agreed as they headed back and got jackets for everyone. Afterwards they started to walk in the cold yet warm lonavala night towards the dhabba.
The street light and store light lit up the path as they walked to the dhabba. Rahul along Angali walked in front as they talked to each other. Behind them Sameer and Ryan walked busy within themselves with their airpods and phone. Preeti, Ahana and Shruti walked behind them talking to each other. Naira was walking next to Ahana holding her hand. Behind them Neil along with his brothers, Sid and Rohan walked with Ansh in Sid's arms and Aryan holding his father's hands.
Ahana looked around the Stores which were still filled with people. It was around 8 at night time. The walk to the dhabba was around 10 mins or so. Thankfully it was a crowded and lit path throughout or it wouldn't be safe to bring the kids out here at night.
Shruti:"If it's this cold here then what would happen by tomorrow when the weather is supposed to be more colder"
Preeti:"but dispite the cold, the area is so beautiful. Sid told me there is a park where they have Gondola lift by the mountains. The view would be soo nice from it. We are gonna visit it tomorrow "
Shruti:"Really? Well atleast Sid tells you what they planned. I asked Rohan 20 times and all he said was "you will see it when we visit the place jaan. just have patience ""
Preeti:"Bhabhi, Sid told me because if he didn't he knows what consequences he has to face later on"( They laughed)
Shruti:"What about Neil? Did he tell you Ahana?"
Ahana:"Well I didn't really ask about it so no?"(She answered causing Preeti and Shruti to laugh)
Naira:"Mumma mumma look"(Naira yelled causing Everyone to turn towards her)
Ahana:"What happened baby?"
Naira:"Mumma see Vabbit (Rabbit)"(Naira pointed at the bushy area where few whites Rabbits were seen running to hide from the people walking by.)
Ansh:"Rabbit?"(Ansh said lifting his head of Sid shoulder )
Neil:"Yes buddy. Want to see them?"( He asked ruffling Ansh's hair who nodded. The rest of Malhotra family stopped as they admired Neil taking Ansh and Aryan near the rabbits along with Sid. Neil picked up on bunny as he patted it gently, even showing the kids. )
Naira:"Mumma I also want to see let's go naaaa"( She said as she pulled Ahana towards Neil. As they reached Near, Naira left Ahana's hands and run towards Neil while Ahana stood behind them at a safe distance admiring them)
Sid:(As He helped Naira pet one bunny in his hands)"Bhabhi why don't you also pet them. They are so cute."
Aryan:"And soft soft. Mumma come na"
Ahana:"No no I am fine here"
Neil:(Keeping the bunny down, he stood up and went closet to Ahana)"Common Ahana, it's fun. Don't tell me you're scared"
Ahana:"I am not... I am not scared of them it's just that..that I like to admire all animals from a safe distance. "
Neil:(Laughed at her explanation while Ahana glared at him)"Common shone. You will love it"
Ahana:"I don't want to love it Neil. Just leave me here na. You go enjoy"(She said as Neil intertwined their hands pulling her closer to the bunny's )
Neil:"Ahana trust me. You will love holding them. okay wait."
Neil sat down by the Bush and pulled Ahana as well. As Ahana started to stand up, he held her hand while with Another he picked up the bunny and kept it in his lap. As Neil patted the rabbit gently, it snuggled into his warmth. Neil held Ahana's hand and slowly brought it closer to the bunny. She tried to take her hands out of his grip but it was all to vain.
Neil held Ahana's hand as she patted the bunny. Few mins into it , Ahana started to relax but soon got startled again as the bunny jumped out of Neil's lap and Ran back into the Bush.
Neil:(Whipering to Ahana)"See that wasn't so bad was it."
Ahana:"It wasn't but I don't want to try it again. Now let's go I am hungry"
Neil:"Okay"(He softly kisses her temples before they get up and everyone starts walking towards the dhabba Again.)
When they reached the Dhabba. Sid ordered the food everyone wanted while the family members spilt into 2 halfs and sat one the benches next to each other. Rahul ,Angali, Rohan, Shruti , Sameer, and ryan sat on one While the kids along with Sid, Preeti, Ahana and Neil settled down on another. They all enjoyed The food before they started to stroll back to the resort.
By the time they reached back into their rooms it was already 9: 30. Ahana made the kids sleep in their room before heading to her room. She entered to see the room empty. She looked towards the balcony to see Neil standing there staring into the beautiful night. Ahana went towards him and wrapped her arms around his waist, taking him into a back hug. As he felt her arms around him, a smile came upon his face as he kept his right hand on top of hers. Ahana buried her face in his back, closing her eyes.
Ahana:"This feels so good Neil. "
Neil:(Turning around and taking Ahana in his arms)"Yes it does."
Ahana:"I heard tomorrow we are going to mountains tomorrow. Gondola lift and other activities"
Neil:"Yeah sid did tell me this. "
Ahana:"Hmm Preeti is very excited for it"
Neil:" I bet she is but that not what matters right now."(Ahana pulled back a little to look at his face with confusion written all over hers)"Well if I remember correctly some one promised me something today. Do you remember such person Mrs. Malhotra "(He said pretending to think making Ahana giggle)
Ahana:(Also in a teasing mood)"Really ? And who might that person be Mr. Malhotra, because I remember no such thing "
Neil:(Pulling Ahana close as he rubs his nose on hers)"Well then I would say you have a very weak memory shona "(he said in a husky voice )
Ahana:"I tend to think otherwise "( she whispered before she disclosed the distance between their lips)
As Ahana's lips met Neil's, His right arm automatically found it's way to her neck pulling her closer to him. While Ahana's hands rested on his shoulder, clutching tightly to his shirt as they both explored each other. Ahana's leg began to give up as she felt, Neil's arm tightly around her waist. After few mins they broke off their kiss due to shortness of breath.
They rested their foreheads together as they tried to calm themselves down. Neil looked into Ahana's eyes before again taking her into a passionate kiss. This time him dominating. They didn't even realize when they had entered their room in all this. As if now Ahana was pinned by the balcony door as Neil began dropping kisses around her neck. Neil picked Ahana up in his arms before they headed towards the bed. Neil layed Ahana on the bed before again locking his lips with her.
After some time he broke the kiss and kissed her forehead, before laying down next to her pulling her in his arms. Ahana looked up at him a little confused to why did he stop at such a heated moment.
Neil:(As if understanding her inner thoughts , He replied while playing with her fingers)"Ahana I love you. I love you alot and I.. I want our first time to be special. I don't want to rush through it just because we lost control. Do you get what I mean. It..I.. I want you to be comfortable be with it. I.. "
Ahana:(Kissing his chest)"I get it Neil. I..thank you. Thank you for loving me so much. I sometimes still think this a dream. I just want you to know I am very comfortable with you. I trust you with all my heart Neil and most importantly I love you. Remember that okay"
Neil kissed her forehead while she snuggled into him more. Ahana smiled as she saw Neil busy playing with her fingers. She couldn't tell what he found so fascinating in them, but she knew that this small gestures made her heart bubble. It gave her butterflies. Who says that love is about big things. For Most people love is not about confession in front of the world or saving you partner in a heroic way. Love is about these small gestures. Love is about the care that come automatically when seeing your other half. Love is about actions more then words. Telling someone you love them is easy. But actually loving them with all you heart is a different thing.
As Ahana come out of her thoughts, she felt Neil's breathing rhythm out indicating that he had fallen a sleep. She took his hands that held her fingers and kissed it before she closed her eyes and letting sleep take over.
Next morning.. Ahana's sleep was broken by loud noise from the bedroom door. She looked to her side to see Neil still sleeping peacefully. After few more loud knocks, his sleep also got disturbed. Ahana got up and opened her bedroom door to see her fully energetic 3 munchkins. As soon as the door opened they ran in and jumped on the bed fully waking up Neil and Making him laugh as his kids cuddled with him.
Ahana smiled as she went back to the bed and sat on the side of the bed. Naira sat on Neil's stomach while Aryan and Ansh layed on each side of him.
Neil:"Easy easy "(He laughed as the kids jumped on him yelling papa papa)
As Neil tickeld the kids as they got busy within themselves while Ahana looked at her phone for the time. It was around 7:30 in the morning. She was surprised the kids were up so early without a nudge. It was funny how waking up at 7:30 for school was painful for them but when it's holiday and vacation time, they are up without anyone pesturing them to get up.
Neil looked over at Ahana to see her lost in her thoughts but a smile played on her face. He signaled the kids to be quite and pointed at Ahana. The kids smiled mischievously along with Neil. The kids start to giggle as Neil puts his finger on his lips indicating to be quite. They follow his actions in a cute manner and nod yes making Neil smile at their cuteness. Neil looked at Ahana and pulled her on the bed. Ahana fell on the bed as her face landed on Neil's chest. The kids got up and tackled Ahana as she gasped when they started to tickle her along with Neil.
Ahana:"Neil...ansh..no..naira...princess.. no..please... Neil...A..Aryan.."(Ahana managed to say between her laughs as she rolled on the bed with her 4 life lines tickling her."
After few mins, the kids and Neil stopped as Ahana gasped for air which she lacked due to laughter. She sat up on the bed next to Neil and glared at him while he gave her a sweet smile pulling her into his embrace. The kids also hugged them tightly as they all shared a family hug.
