Next morning came by soon, sunlight hit Ahana's face as she pulled the blanket over her head. She turned towards Neil's side to snuggles into him only to find emptiness. A frown came upon her face as she looked around and couldn't find him. She picked up her phone to check the time and freaked out seeing it of already 9:30.
Ahana:"9:30! Shit shit shit. How can I sleep in so late. The kids have school. why didn't my alarm went of "(She started to get up in a rush when she saw Neil entering the room with a tray of breakfast in his hands)"Neil? You didn't go to office ? Why didn't you wake me up? The kids! I should..."(She was cut of in the middle by a small perk on the lips from Neil)
Neil:(Keeping the tray on the table near the sofa)"Calm down Shona. Everything is fine. The kids have already left for school. I will go after lunch."
Ahana:"But my alarm it didn't "
Neil:"I know I know. I switched it off. Ahana you woke up at 4 last night and couldn't sleep till 5 because of the discomfort. I thought to let you rest. Now no more questions. You go and freshen up while I'll wait then we can have breakfast together "
Ahana nodded as she headed to the restroom to freshen up and take a bath. After 30 mins she came out to see Neil sitting on the sofa doing something on his phone. Ahana went and settled next to him. Neil kepts his phone down and looked up at her with a smile.
Neil:"Here"(He said as he fed her the first piece of breakfast)
They both enjoyed breakfast by feeding each other and sharing some cute moments. After finishing their breakfast, Neil got a msg from Office saying they have a urgent meeting in an hour so he decided to head to office.
Neil:(As he came out dressed in office clothes)"Shona I gotta go and are you feeling better today? Or should we cancel the evening plan?"
Ahana:(confused)"Evening plan?"
Neil:"You forgot ? We promised the kids to take them to the fair today. "
Ahana:"Oh yeahhh. No don't cancel the plan they have been waiting for a week to go. I... I'll be fine. I'll take the medicine."
Neil:"You sure?"
Ahana:"Yes Neil positive. "
Neil:"Alright then I'll text you at 6. Be ready "
Ahana:"Yeah"
Neil:"Bye"(He said as he perked her lips and left )
The whole day went by quickly. The men of the house stayed back at office for lunch so Preeti had to go and deliver their lunch to Malhotra industries. Around 2, Ahana along with Shruti, went to pick the kids up from school. The kids were very excited for the evening plan. Around 4, Ahana's stomach cramps were back. Though she expected this because her medicine only stops the pain for about 12 hours. She took another medicine and layed down to feel better. After the pain had gone, Ahana got the kids ready and herself also changed into a white top and black Jeans.
Around 6, Neil's messaged Ahana to take out his casual clothes and have a quick snack ready so he can just change and eat quickly before they head of to their destination.
Aryan:"Mumma when will papa come"
Ahana:"He will be here soon Aryan. Until then see if Naira and Ansh wore their shoes "(Aryan nodded running off to his room while Neil entered the house. He quickly perked Ahana's forehead before heading to his room to change. After few mins he came down dressed in the white tshirt and black pants Ahana had taken out.)
Neil:"Ready?"(He asked Ahana who nodded just as the kids ran out, All 3 of them wearing the combination of white and black)
Shruti:"Wow, Everyone is matching matching "
Preeti:"It's like family goals "
Ahana:"Yes bhabhi everyone is matching before our princess wanted to"
Neil:"Naira?"
Ahana:"Yeah. Apparently one of her friends told her that went ever they go out as a family they wear matching clothes so she wanted to do that too"
Shruti:"Ahana give me your phone let me take a picture "(Ahana nodded. They clicked few pictures before the kids along with Ahana and Neil headed to the fair.)
At the fair....
As Everyone got down from the car that stood in the parking lot, they could hear the loud noise of the crowd.
Neil:"okay kids. Remember always stay with mumma and me okay. It's will be really crowded in there."
Kids:"Okay papa"
Ahana was holding Ansh's hands while Aryan walked in front of her holding Neil's hand while Neil had picked up Naira in his arms. Ahana also carried a small back pack with things needed for the kids. At the entrance, Neil had shown the tickets to the security who allowed the family inside.
One by one they tried few kids rides and played few games at the stall too. They even won a big white teddy for Naira. As if now they stood in line for a new ride that had just came out this year. As there turn came, Ahana and Neil sat with Naira on a bench seat while Aryan and Ansh sat on the one in front of them with the teddy next to them. The ride was supposed to throw each bench from one corner to another in a triangular motion. After the ride guys checked Aryan and Ansh's seatbelts he walked towards Ahana and Neil's bench.
Guy:"Ma'am I would suggest you sit in the middle. Or else because of the throw the kid will be crushed"(Ahana was confused as to why because she had seen the ride in action few times before when they waited in line but she anyways followed what the guy said and switched seats with Naira so that now she sat between Naira and Neil.)
The ride soon started moving. At first it moved very slowly in the triangular motion before it started to speed up. With each throw Ahana kept being thrown onto Neil while Naira kept hitting her. She understood why the ride guy said for her and Naira to switch. If they had not Naira would have become squished between her and Neil. The rides fast movement made it hard for Anyone to not slide. For most of the ride Ahana was glued to Neil only due to the ride. Though she felt she was squashing Neil she could also tell he didn't mind as he was busy running his hands in a circular motion near her waist while his eyes remained on her the whole ride. Ahana could clearly hear the giggle of Naira and See the laughter between her 2 boys who sat up front.
Soon the ride came to an end and the family headed to their next ride. In middle Naira had began to get hungry and Neil noticed how Ahana had everything the kids needed. It was incredible how a mother was always prepared to her kids. Even when she feels sick or down herself, she first thinks of her kids. After enjoying few more rides and stalls, They stopped at a food stall and ordered pao bhaji for everyone. After eating dinner, They planned to go on the farris wheel and then seeing the fireworks program planned at 9pm.
Neil:"okay slowly"(He said as he helped the kids into cart. After the kids him and Ahana also entered and sat down as the ride guys closed the door and the ride slowly moved forward for others to sit in.)
As the kids looked around excited, Ahana smiled looking at Neil who was looking at her. He slowly leaned forward and asked her to do the same. She looked at Aryan sitting next to her busy looking outside. She looked back at Neil and leaned forward.
Ahana:(Whispered)"What?"
Neil:"You know there is a saying. That lover should kiss on top of the farris wheel too strengthen their love"
Ahana:(eyes widen as she looked at the kids still busy within themselves. She then turned back to Neil who had a smirk on his face. Slightly hitting his shoulder )"Neillll"
Neil:(chuckled)"What shona. It's true"
Aryan:(turning to Neil)"What's true Papa?"(Ahana's eyes widen as her blush grew)
Neil:"oh it's a legend beta. When we reach at the top of the farris Wheel we all should close our eyes and make a wish. But mumma won't believe in it"
Ansh:"Why mumma. We should do it"
Ahana:"I..ahh"
Neil:"see we are almost up when I say all of us will close our eyes okay"
Kids:"Okayyyy"
Neil:"Okay common close your eyes and make a lonnng wish"(The kids closed their eyes as Neil winked at Ahana pulling her closer as he held her hand)
Ahana:"Neil what.."(She was cut of by Neil as his lips met her)
His hands rested ok her neck as his lips took the pleasure of her lips. Her hands tightened around his arms. But before she could get a chance to drown into the kiss, Neil pulls back and sits straight. Ahana realizes where she is and sits back while the kids open their eyes.
Naira:"Mumma you also closed your eyes and wished na"
Neil:"Don't worry beta. Papa made sure mumma followed the legend "(He said with a smirk while Ahana glared at him playfully)
After enjoying the farris wheel ride, they went to the area where everyone would be sitting to watch the fireworks. it was around 8:57 When Ahana and Neil reached their with the kids. They found a nice place with the great view and decided to settle down their. Ahana layed a blanket down on the grass as the kids sat next to each other busy playing with the big white teddy. Ahana and Neil sat behind them next to each other. Neil's arms were wrapped around Ahana as she leaned on to his shoulder looking at the kids. Soon the fireworks show started and the kids clapped in excitement. They took few pictures and enjoyed the show.
Naira was starting to get sleepy so Ahana suggested that they should head home. Neil agreed. Ahana took Naira into her arms as she stood up while Neil packed the blanket in the bag and swung it on his shoulder. He was about to pick Ansh up in his arms when he felt someone bump into him. He turned to the person and was shocked seeing them. Ahana looked at the person's direction in confusion and saw a girl smiling at Neil.
Girl:"Omg Neilllll"(She hugged Neil taking him in shock. He looked at Ahana who frowned seeing this but gave a small smile to Neil)
Neil:(Breaking the hug)"Hi..hii Natasha "
Natasha:(With the same over excited smile she turned to Ansh and Aryan who stood next to Neil)"Ohhh You too look the same as before "
Ahana frowned, when had she seen Ansh before. From what she remembered she has never seen this Natasha girl in her life. She patted Ansh and Aryan head as if they were dogs before turning to Neil with a big smile.
Natasha:"Arjun and n...nahil look cute"
Neil:(Confused)"Who?"(Natasha pointed at The boys )"It's Aryan and Ansh"(He said with a disbelief )
Natasha:"Oh but I thought your second child's name started with a N"
Neil:(Sighs)"Yes it does. And my second kid that you met was a girl. Naira.( He looked towards Ahana who was holding Naira. Natasha followed and for the first time saw Ahana and Naira )" this is my other son Ansh"
Natasha:"3rd kid? But Neil I only met 2 before "
Neil:"Yeah be..."(Hw was cut of when she turned to Ahana)
Natasha:"And you...you much be a babysitter right."( Neil looked at natasha in shock )
Neil:"No Natasha.. Ahana is not a babysitter she.."(Before Neil could complete, Ahana came and stood next to him, Wrapping her free arm around his arms she leaned on to him)
Ahana:(With a forced big smile )"I an his WIFE"( She said emphasizing the Wife part)
