Neil:"I love you Mrs. Ahana Neil Malhotra. I love you with all my heart and soul. You have given me a new life and I want to cherish it with you till the day I die. Ahana we might have many more obstacles that come our way but remember that when it's you and me together, we and our love will always overcome all these things. Ahana I want to grow old with you. So will you give me a chance to love you? Will you give me a chance to cherish you? Will you give me a chance to be the happiest man in the world by accepting my love for you"(Ahana was in tears as she sat on the sand before him and hugged him)
Ahana:(while hugging him tightly)"Yes...yes...I.. love you Neil.. I love you very very much"( Neil wrapped his arms around her tightly as he smiled against her neck)
Ahana pulled back and they both looked into each other's eyes. Neil leaned forward and kissed her forehead before his eyes wondered of go her lips. He looked at her rosy lips before looking back into her eyes. She bit her lip seeing the movement of his eyes as his eyes darkened. His eyes again traveled to her lips.
Neil:"May I ?"
He asked in a husky voice making her shiver. She slowly nodded her head looking into his eyes as he leaned forward. He slowly took her lips into his. The kiss was slowly and filled with love. His had cupped her face bringing her closer while her hands found their way into his hair. After few mins they broke the kiss and rested their forehead together. Ahana looked up to see Neil looking at her and before she knew it he pulled her into another kiss, the difference being that this kiss was way more passionate.
After breaking the kiss Ahana stood up and dusted her dress to get rid of the sand and Neil followed but his eyes never left her. She felt shy and started to turn when he held her hands and tugged her towards him. She blushed and pushed him slightly making him stumble back while she laughed and ran towards the ocean which lit blue due to glowing bacteria. Neil ran behind her smiling. Seeing him running behind her she squealed and ran faster. As they ran along the ocean, waves hit their feets. Neil caught up to her and picked her up from the back and twirled her while her laughs filled the surroundings.
He made her stand in front of him. Waves still brushed by their feet as they stared into each other's eyes.
Neil:"I am sorry Ahana."
Ahana:(Frowned)"Why?"
Neil:"I know you would have wanted to hear my first time confessing in a special way but it came out during our fight with bua ji. I ...I just realized it there and said it. I am sorry it's wasn't as special as you might have wanted."
Ahana:(Cupping his face)"Shhh Neil. No neil it was special. Who told you it wasn't special. You don't realize the butterflies and the other tingling sensations I felt when I heard you say that. It was the most assuring thing you could have said to me after bua ji....after she wanted to plan our divorce and ur 3rd wedding "(Ahana said the last part slowly )
Neil:"Like hell she would. I would never ever divorce you or leave you. And even if I get married the 3rd time,( He pauses for a min before continuing ) Which I will"
Ahana:(Shocked)"What!?"
Neil:"What...won't you remarry me on our 25th anniversary. Isn't That the trend now a days. To renew our vows."
Ahana:(Smacking Neil's shoulder )"You idiot, you Moron you scared me"(Neil laughs as she holds Ahana's hands pulling her into a hug)
Neil:"I will never marry anyone or love anyone except you. Get this in you head"(Ahana smiled into his chest wrapped her arms tightly around his waist. Just then her stomach grumbled. She pulled back embarrassed as Neil chuckled)"common let's get my baby some food"
They headed back to the set up area where their dinner was already set up on the tables. He pulled the chair for Ahana like a gentlemen making Ahana smile.
Ahana:"So what has my husband brought for dinner today"
Neil:"Well as we eat Indian food every day I thought why not bring a change. So I ordered Chinese cuisine "
Ahana:(excitedly )"What really?!"
Neil:(Smiled)"Yes really. I asked Prabha maa and she said you love Chinese cuisine so I thought why not"
Ahana:"Omg Neil your the best. Love yoy"(She said giving him a flying kiss as she looked at her favorite dishes. It's been a while since she had Chinese food.)
Neil:"Hayee"(He said keeping his hands on his heart giving a dreamy expression as he leaned back while Ahana blushed)
Ahana:"Common let's eat."
Ahana and Neil eat their food while talking and enjoying there time. It was around 9:30 when Neil called someone who came and cleaned their eating mess and left.
Neil:"Common"(He said as he stood up and extended his hands towards her)
Ahana:"Now where?"
Neil:"Come na Ahana"
Neil took Ahana to the tent. As thet settled inside, Ahana took a close look at the surrounding. It was a spacious tent filled with multiple comforters and pillows to make sure that it was comfortable. Inside the Tent were LED lights that lit it up. The opening of the tent faced the ocean giving a splendid view.
Neil sat down with pillows behind his back for support while, Ahana sat next to him leaning onto him as they stared at the waves hitting the shore.
Neil:"By the way, After dinner we didn't have dessert "
Ahana:(Confused)" But we eat the small chocolate fudge cake you brought "
Neil:"Yeah but that was your favorite dessert. Shouldn't I get my favorite dessert?"(He said in a husky voice as he pulled her closers and looked at her lips)
Ahana:(Eyes widen as she blushed)"Ne..Neil"
Neil:(in a daze)"Hmm"
Neil slowly dipped down and took her lips into his for another kiss. As they kissed passionately, neither of the realized when Neil had came on top of Ahana or when they were laying down from their sitting position. As they broke the kiss, Neil dipped his face in her neck as he slowly inhaled her smell. Ahana's heart was beating so fast and all she could do was hold on to his shirt as a response to his torture. Neil slowly kissed her temple before laying next to her and taking her into his embrace.
Neil:"I love you shona"(He whispered as she smiled snuggling into him more)
Ahana:(mumbling into his chest)"I love you too"
Neither one of them know when they fell asleep in each other's arms. But both of them did knew that this was a beginning of their new chapter. Though they both had finally realized their love for one another, this was just the starting of it. Much to their dismay, they didn't know that in the future their love would have to fight it's way through the troubles of their past. The Hidden truths kept by their own loved onces will test this bond of love.
As if now the love birds layed peacefully in each others arms as the sun raises. Light fell through the tent, disturbing their sleep. Ahana snuggled more into Neil's chest as the light disturbed her while, Neil slowly opened his eyes to admire a beautiful view. His wife.
Neil looked at his watch to see it was already 9 in the morning. He looked front to see the waves splashing at the shore. He Had only booked the beach till 10. Around 10, Workers would came to clean all the decorations as the beach opens to public by 11.
He slowly got up making sure not to disturb Ahana's sleep, which he didn't know was already disturbed by the lack of his warmth and the raise of the sun. He walked out and looked at the ocean, feeling refreshed. Life sure does give you surprises around every turn. 1 year back, he would have never imaged having such a peaceful sleep and now he can never imagine waking up without Ahana in his arms.
Ahana got up as she rubbed her eyes. She looked at her blue dress and thank to god it had not gotten ruined. She stood up and saw Neil's back facing her. She brushed her hair with her fingers before moving out of the tent. She went towards Neil and hugged him from the back, resting her head on his back while he smiled and held her hands with rested on his chest.
Neil:"Good morning Shona"
Ahana:(cutely )"Good morning "
Neil pulled her in front of him as he dipped his face closer to kiss her but her hand stopped him.
Ahana:"Neil no, morning breath "
Neil:(Groaning)"Common shona, we won't be able to brush till we reach home"
Ahana:"Then wait till we get home"(He made a grumpy face while she smiled)
Neil:"Okay come let's go home"(He said holding her hand)
Ahana:"And all these?"
Neil:"Don't worry, few of my man will come and clean this up"
They headed towards their car. As Ahana sat in her seat while she dusted her feet to get rid of the sand. Neil came and gave her a water bottle.
Neil:"Take this and face ur face and stuff. It's a 1 hour drive back home you might be feeling sticky."(Ahana nodded as she splashed the water on her face While she used the rest of the water to wash her mouth.)
Soon the couple started their journey back home. As they reached closer to home, Ahana started to fear one thing. Bua ji. Neil and Ahana had stayed out the whole night. Ahana was wearing a grown. On top of that they would reach home around 10:20. All these things will surely make bua ji create a big fuss. As Neil parked the car in front of their house her fears grew.
Neil:(Came beside her and held her hand)"Let's go"(They walked in with their hands intertwined)
As they entered the hall, They Saw everyone seated in the hall with a serious expression. Bua ji was present too. The kids, who might have seen Ahana and Neil's car through their window, Came running down yelling," mumma papa" As they hugged Ahana and Neil.
The couple smiled hugging their kids. Hearing the kids, The adults look at the door and Saw Ahana and Neil.
Angali:"Ahana Neil. Go change and Get freshen up. Bua ji wants to talk to you both"(Ahana's fears grew more while Neil looked confused at his mom. His mom the shock her head indicating that she, or infact nobody knew what Bua ji wanted to talk about)
Ahana and Neil headed up while the kids ran back to their room to continue what they were doing. As Ahana and Neil entered their room, Ahana started rambling at Neil.
Ahana:"Neil what do you think bua ji wants to talk about. What if she says for you to divorce me. Wait it maybe about yesterday. I should have kept quiet. Why do I talk so much. Or can it be the fact that I am wearing a gown. or maybe because we stayed out the whole night. God I am screwed."
Neil:"Ahana Ahana calm down. I am sure it is nothing and even if it is something we will handle it together. Stop over thinking. You did nothing wrong. Not yesterday when we had the argument and not today when we stayed out or your wearing a gown. And as I said yesterday I would never agree to divorce you or marry anyone other then you."
Ahana:"I know Neil it's just things looked so serious downstairs. I wanted to change Bua ji's perspective on things,but along the way I didn't want to push her away from our family. We are the only onces she have left"
Neil:"You are not pushing her away from us Ahana. Whatever is happening, it is due to her actions only. And let me assure you that how ever she maybe, she is our family so we will never leave her alone."(Ahana nodded)"Good now go freshen up we have to head down also."(Ahana nodded as she started to head towards the bathroom)"Also don't think I forgot about my morning kiss. After freshening up , I am taking my dose"(He said winking at her as she blushed and ran to the bathroom while he chulked at her reaction)
