Ahana:"it's okay buaji I am not even comparing myself to her. She is a god bua ji but tell me one thing. Parvati ji respected her husband, but Shiv ji also respected his wife. He always treated her as his equal. So what's the problem with Maa being treated as Papa equal. Preeti being treated as sid's equal and Shruti bhabhi being treated as Rohan bhai equal."(All looked at Ahana who calmly explained this to Bua ji who looked at her at loss of words.)" Where is it written in any religion that Men are superior then women. It is stated that in each women lies Lakshmi ( god) Then why should they not be treated with equal respect as men. Bua ji the world has progressed alot. Now women are given that right. But still in this world people like to make women lower then men. Why?"
Bua:(Who was till now loss of words just stood up)"You all have became modern and forgotten Your own religious Values. I don't want to sit here and listen to you explain me why my moral are wrong. Don't forget I have seen the world more then you. I know what a women can achieve when they try to be modern."(Saying so she left leaving Ahana in a deep thought)
Rahul:(Sighing)"Ahana beta don't take her words to heart. I know your trying your best to give the women of this house the same respect as men in jiji's eyes but it is hard."
Sid:"This one week will be literal torture"(He said as be left for his room)
One by one everyone left leaving Ahana and Neil alone in the room. Neil stood up as he walked and sat next to Ahana.
Neil:(Pulling her into a side hug)"What happened Ahana you look lost)
Ahana:"I...I don't know. I feel that there something more to Bua ji that we are missing."
Neil:(Confused)"Why would you say that?"
Ahana:"i don't know her words seemed as if they had hidden meaning to it. I might just be over thinking"
Neil:" It okay don't stress over her. it's only 1 week we can get through it"
Ahana:"One long week Neil. It's only been 3 hours since she arrived and we have gotten into so many problems"
Neil:"It's will be fine Ahana."(Ahana looked into his eyes and nodded as she leaned into his chest while he kissed her forehead)
Few Hours later...
In the kitchen. Ahana was making a cake batter. It was Aryan demand to eat chocolate cake. How can Ahana say no when her baby said it so cutely. Rahul and Angeli had Taken Buaji to the mandir as she wanted to visit it. Sid and Preeti had gone out on a date while Shruti was in her room spending some time with her husband. Neil was in his room working on his laptop while the kids were in the game room playing.
Ahana:(Looking at the batter in the YouTube video tutorial vs her own batter)"It's it a little to thick. Maybe I should mix for few more mins"(She said to herself as she mixed the batter. )
Just then she felt a pair of arms wrap around her making her jump. She soon recognized the touch. Neil had back hugged her from the back. A blush came upon her face as her heartbeat raised. Their first back Hug. She was sure if the bowl was not on the counter, she would gave surely dropped it on the ground.
Neil:(as he nuzzled into her neck)"Hi"(He whispered cutely. His voice was husky as he looked a little tired.)
Ahana:"h..hi"(She mumbled still conscious of their position and closeness but as for Neil it felt like he had forgotten everything)
Neil:(Looks at her flushed face and realized what he had done)"I..I am sorry "(He back up as he looked down embarrassed rubbing his hands over his neck)"I...I. was tried that I didn't notice when I.. hugged you..I.. sorry if you felt uncomfortable. I just"
Ahana:(keeping the batter on the counter as she turned to face him. She could tell he was scolding himself in the inside by his cute face expressions)"Hey I will never be uncomfortable with you. It's just. I was shocked and I...I...felt something...I.. mean.. I...god why is it so hard to explain."(She said closings her eyes at the last part making Neil chuckled. Out of no where he got his confidence back as his hands slide around her waist pulling her towards him making her gasp in shock)
Neil:"So you like it when I hug you?"(He asked in a husky voice making her legs tremble)
Ahana:"I...I.. Neil please "
Neil:"Please what Ahana."
Ahana:"Don't tease me na"(She said cutely causing his heart to melt)
Neil:"Okay I won't. Just tell me if you like it when I hug you "
Ahana Looked into Neil's eyes which waited for a answer. She looked down blushing as she nodded her head whispering a small "Yes". His heart skipped a beat looking at her as she turned around in shyness and started mixing her batter again. A grin came upon Neil's face as he again back hugged her, this time with full consciousness.
Neil:"Then I'll always keep hugging you like this"(He said. As she placed a soft Kiss on the back of her head before resting his chin on her shoulder )"What are you doing"
Ahana:(Trying to relax into his touch)"Making the batter for chocolate cake"
Neil:"Chocolate cake!"(Though she couldn't see his face she was sure his eyes had lit up like a child's would)
Ahana:(Teased)"So Aryan goes after his father Huh? Like Father like son. (Neil Smiled )"Aryan's wish was to eat chocolate cake so I thought why not make one for everyone"
Neil:"I'll help"
Ahana:"How?"
Neil:"By keeping you company like this"(He nuzzled into her hair as she blushed)
Ahana:"you will distract me more then helping "
Neil:"Common I know you love it."(Ahana didn't say anything but seeing her red cheeks he got his answer. She looked cute while blushing he thought)
After the batter was mixed properly, Ahana dipped her cleaned fingers in it to check if it tasted good. Satisfied with its taste, She poured it into the 2 cake holder and placed them in the oven. She saw Neil, who had released her from the back hug now, Was scrolling through his phone. A mischievous thought came in her mind as she looked at the left over batter. Slowly dipping her finger into it, She walked toward him and applied the chocolate batter on his face.
Neil looked up shocked as he felt the cold batter on his face. He looked at Ahana to see her laughing with her fingers still having some chocolate batter on it.
Neil:"Oh it's on"(He said he walked towards her. She squealed as she tried to run out of the kitchen but Neil held her hand. He pulled her back causing her to collide with his chest as his one hand rested on her waist while the other held her other hand's wrist. He smirked as he looked at the bowl of batter on the counter then at Ahana who had her eyes widen.)
Ahana:"ne..Neil..no..Please..I...I am sorry...I was just pranking you. Neil..no."(She said as she struggled in his grip. Neil's grip tighten on her as he moves his hand towards the bowl and dips his fingers into the bowl.)"Neil no please "
She said as she closed her eyes waiting to feel his cold chocolate batter fingers on her cheek but she feel nothing. She opens her eyes to see Neil looking at her as he takes the batter and rubs his hands over his right cheek. She looks at him confused as to why he his applying the batter on himself but he just smirks. He pulls her more closer as he leans in and rubs his cheeks on hers transferring the batter on to her face. She stiffens as her breathing fasten due to his actions. Neil does the same thing to her other cheek. He pulls back a little as she opens her eyes and blushes. He smirked seeing his effect on her as well as for getting the job done.
Neil:(He then takes a little bit of chocolate from her cheeks into his fingers and licks it)"Mmmm..This tastes like heaven"(He said winking at her as her eyes widen)
Just then They hear the oven voice stating that the cake was done. Ahana breaks free from his hold and takes the cake out. She sets both the cakes next to each other before she starts to get her icing out. Neil stands next to her as both of them ice a cake and decorate it. As they finish they look at the cake then at each other and grin.
Ahana/Neil:"prefect"( They laugh which soon dies down as they hear the camera clicking)
They turn to see Sid and Preeti standing in the door way looking at them. Preeti has a teasing smile on her face while Sid had the phone in his hands as he gave a smirk to Neil.
Preeti:"Bhabhi bhai what's going on here?"
Ahana:"We..we were baking a cake"
Sid:"Bhabhi..It looks like more then baking you both were playing holi with the cake batter"
Preeti:"It looks like with baking a cake some chocolate romance occured"
Sid:"Like the ones in the flims"(Both Ahana and Neil looked down shyly at their teasing)
Neil:"It..its nothing like that "
Sid:"if you say so bhai...But your cheeks say something different"(He teased)
Neil:"Shut up"
Ahana:"..I...I..Preeti please keep the cake in the fridge for some time. I...I'll go wash up"(She ran out of the kitchen)
Neil:"I..also have to go bye"(He also followed behind her while Preeti and Sid laughed. Sid looked down at the photo on his phone and smiled)
Sid:"They are so cute. I wish they always stay like this happy and together"
Preeti:"Yeah. (Preeti kept the cake in the fridge)
Meanwhile in Ahana and Neil's room
Ahana entered the room and soon after Neil entered the room. He closed the door as he turned to look at Ahana who was looking at him. They looked at each other for a while before bursting into laughter. Neil walked towards her and pulled her into a hug as they continued to laugh for some times. After a while Neil and Ahana stood their in that position when Neil felt wetness on his chest. He pulled back to see Ahana wiping her tears.
Neil:(Panicking )"Wh..What happened Ahana. Why are you crying"
Ahana:"I..it's nothing"
Neil:(Cupping her face)"Tell me na"
Ahana:"It's just I am scared."
Neil:"Of what sweetheart?
Ahana:"It's just I never imagined us like this. I always thought you would hate me after knowing my feelings but you don't. Infact you are giving us a chance. You...You like me. And All these moments between us they feel so...so magical. It's like a dream which I never wake up from. I feel scared that maybe soon I'll wake up from this dream and things won't be the same anyone. I know I am over thinking but will what has happened in the past. I never had happiness that lasted so long. I am scared this time also my happiness won't last long"(she said as tears flowed from he eyes)
Neil:"Hey...nothing will happen to us Ahana. This is all real and this will never change. I will never let your happiness go away. From now on this happiness is here to stay with you all your life. I am sorry, because of me you felt that all this is unreal. I always ran from my feeling and it made you think that you and me could never be like this. In a way or another I am somewhat responsible for this insecurities but I promise you Ahana I will never leave you no matter what. No matter what obstacles come our way we will handle them as a team. Together."(He kissed her forehead slightly while she smiled through her tears)
