1 month had passed in a blink. Ahana and Neil bond was growing each day more and more. The Malhotra's tried multiple things to make Ahana realize that what she feels around Neil is not just a friendship bond. It's more then that. Its love. But all their talks and plans went into vein as Ahana was stuck on calling her feeling for Neil as friendship.
While on the other hand Neil's feelings were also developing but unknown to him. He was just enjoy these moments in his life. He wasn't thinking much about anything even close to romantic feelings that to towards Ahana. The others also didn't want to work on Neil as if now as they weren't sure house Neil would react understanding his feelings.
Today was just like a normal Wednesday for everyone. Ahana and Neil got up early and did their morning routine with getting the kids and themselves ready for the day. Though Ahana felt a little off today and she didn't know why. Since morning she was having a weird feeling in her guts but couldn't figure out why. Ignoring it, She send the kids to school along with Neil.
The whole day, the ladies in the house noticed the uneasiness in Ahana. While cooking lunch, Ahana had cut her hand slightly as she was lost in her thoughts. Angali finally decided to confront Ahana about this.
Angali:"Ahana beta are u alright ?"(She asked as the ladies settled down on the hall around 1 in the afternoon waiting for the kids to get home as they get of school around 2:30)
Ahana:"Yeah I am fine maa. Why?"
Angali:"you looked lost the whole day as if something was bothering you"
Ahana:"I don't know maa. Since morning I have this uneasy feeling and I tried to ignore it thinking it will go away but no"
Shruti:"It happened some times Ahana. Maybe you are just exhausted "
Ahana:"Hope so Bhabhi"
Just then Ahana's phone rang. It was from the kids school. She looked confused as she picked up the call.
Ahana:"Hello?"
Principal:"Mrs. Malhotra can you please come to the school its important "
Ahana:"Sure but what's the matter "
Principal:"please just came we can discuss here"
Ahana:(Finding it weird )"Oh okay"(As she cut the call she turned to Angali )"Maa I gotto go to the kids school"
Angali:"Suddenly ?"
Ahana:"Idk what happened "
Preeti:"Don't worry bhabhi. The kids might have just done some michvious prank or something "
Ahana:"I'll go and see."
As she grabbed her bag and headed out she called Neil while getting into a auto.
Ahana:"Hello Neil"
Neil:"Ahana I was about to call you. The school called.."
Ahana:"Yeah I also got the call"
Neil:"Okay. do u want to me pick you up. All the cars are busy today"
Ahana:"No I took a auto. I'll meet you at school"
Neil:"Alright "
Ahana reached the kids school in about 15 mins or so. She headed to Principal's office but as she entered she was shocked to see police officer also present their. Soon after her Neil entered and had the same worried look Ahana held at the point.
Principal:"Mr. and Mrs. Malhotra please be seated"
Ahana:"Maam is everyone okay. Where are their police officers here"
Principal:"ahhh I am very sorry Mr. and Mrs. Malhotra bu...bu.."(She looked at the head police officer )
Police officer :"Mr. and Mrs. Malhotra we think your kids may have been kidnapped "
Neil:"What"(Neil yelled in anger and worry as he stood up while Ahana froze.)"What the hell do you mean by have been kidnapped? Where are my kids? I'll sue your school. it's you responsiblity to keep them save. "
Neil kept yelling. His shouts brought her into the reality as she let what the police officer said sink in"
Ahana:(Nervously let out a small laugh)"You..your kidding right. My..where are my kids"(She said the last part almost yelling with tears forming in her eye )
Principal:"Mrs. Malhotra please calm down"
Ahana:(Stands up as well)"Don't tell me to calm down when your saying my kids are MISSING"
Naira:"Mumma"(They heard Naira's voice. Ahana and Neil turned to Naira and run towards her hugging her and making sure she is okay)
Just then the police officer came forward and signalled a lady office to distract Naira. After seeing Naira distracted, He began to explain what happened. He explained how apparently a guy came into the school claiming to meet all 3 kids. When he was asked to verify his identity and his relationship prove to the kids he gave the details.
As the teacher was processing the details and documents she had called in for the kids. Ansh and Aryan came in while Naira got held of in recess time. The teacher explained how she turned around to get a pen when she felt herself being injected with something and the next thing she knows is waking up 30 mins later to not being able to find the kids anywhere in the school. They asked the gaurd and he said the kids were taken out by the same dude who the teacher drew a picture of for the investigation.
All this while Ahana's heart was beating fast as her eyes were filled with tears and her head filled with various thoughts of her kids. Ansh and Aryan. Will they be okay? Who is that man? Why did he kidnap my kids? With questions also ran prayers in her mind. Plz keep my kids save. Plz give them back to me. On the other hand Neil's mind was going the same direction just his eyes were red by now due to anger.
Police Officer:"Mr. Malhotra this seemed like a planned mission as the kidnapper was fully knowledge about you and ur family. "(Before he could reply his phone rang and it was from home.)
Angali:(Crying )"Ne..neil pls come home fast."
Neil:"Mom?"(He looked worried)
Angali:"Neil the..call..pls just come home"
Neil:"The call?"
Police Officer:"Maybe it's related to the kids Kidnapping. We should held to your home and see."
Naira:(coming towards Neil)"Papa I want to go home"
Neil:(his eyes soften as he looked at his daughter. He picked her up in his arms and he eyes became teary as he remembered Ansh and Aryan in his arms)"Yes baby.."
Naira:"Mumma where is Ansh and Aryan bhaiya"
Ahana:(tear flowed from her eyes as she wiped them quickly looking at Naina )"Ahh they are at P..Prabha Dadi's home "
Naira:"I want go to them. I have sooooooo much to tell them"
Ahana:"you will baby soon. "(She said biting her lips to stop her sobs from coming)
Soon they headed home. As the police and Ahana and Neil along with Naira entered, They saw everyone present in the house and tensed. The police officers told them about the kidnapping while Preeti told Neil and Ahana about the call of the kidnappers demanding to talk to you. Sameer and Ryan took Naira inside while everyone stood in the hall as the landline ringed again. Neil picked up and kept it on speaker.
Neil:"Hello?"
Kidnapper:"ohhh hoo Mr. Neil Malhotra! Did you recognize me"
Neil:"Who the hell are you?"
Kidnapper:"I suggests you be kinder Neil. I wouldn't like hurting your poor little boys now would i"
Ahana:"no.."
Kidnapper:"Ohh what do we have here the New wife"
Neil:(Fisted his hands as he spoke in a calm but dangerous voice )"Who are you and where are my kids"
Kidnapper:"tch tch forgot about me so soon. Okay I'll give you a clue. Payal.."
Neil:(Neil's eyes widen in shock as did remember and recognized the kidnapper)"Kunal"
Kunal:"damn Right man."
Neil:"You won't change would you. I thought after what you did and your punishment you would have learned something but no"
Kunal:(Yelling Making most of the ladies flinch)"Shut up..Punishment..you freaken ruined my life. Anyways I wanna meet you. So meet me tomorrow. Time and address will be mailed to you and remember one wrong move and the kids.. well I guess you already know me.(He gave a laugh at the end before ending the call)
Rahul:"Neil who is he?"
Neil:"Papa he is talking about our office employee Payal. if you remember, I told you about some bastard forcing and harassing girls in our office using his post"
Rahul:"Yeah ?"
Neil:"that was kunal only. I fired him from the post and made sure that atleast for a year or so he wouldn't be able to get into any major companies like ours so he can learn a lesson but this "
Ahana:(Broken down by now as Preeti and Shruti confronted her)"Ansh and Aryan. Why did he involve them. They must be soo scared."
Police Officer:"Mr. Malhotra I'll get my search team to look for you kids. you all stay home and wait for the email"
Neil:"No I am also coming"(He said wiping his tears)
Police Officer:"No Sir you can't. This might put you kids in danger. His eyes are probably on you and ur wife. You guys should stay home and follow what ever he says. We will try to get something till then"
Few hours had passed. it was now evening and no email had came till now. The police officer also had nothing. The family was devastated especially Ahana and Neil.
In Ahana and Neil's room...
Ahana was sitting on the bed with tears still flowing. Her eyes were red by now and looked like she had cried for hours. Preeti was with her consoling her while she sat there. Her mind was only on Aryan and Ansh. Just then Neil entered looking tired and defeated. He looked at Ahana and then at preeti. Preeti stood up and gave Neil a nod before headed out leaving the couple alone.
Neil:"Ahana.."(He said slowly causing her to look up)
Ahana:(Fresh tears started to flow as she looked at him)"Neil ...did...you find anything "
Neil:"No..(He looked down)"I hired a private person also but nothing "
Ahana:"Neil it's been 5 hours. They both must be soo scared. its all my fault. From morning I was having thi uneasy feeling hurt I ignored it. I should have listened to it and not send the kids to school. It..t."(Neil pulls her in his arms rubbing her arms as he tries to calm her down.)
Neil:(After she calms down a bit he pulls back and cups her face ) "I promise Ahana, No matter what happened I will get Ansh and Aryan back to you. I will bring them back to you Save and sound."
Ahana:"No Neil. Promise me that I will get Ansh Aryan and you back safely. I want all 3 of you back safe and sound "
Neil:"I promise "
